I am one of Jehovah's witnesses and I had my baby 6months ago thru CS. I had severe pre-emclampsia and was rushed in for an emergency CS.Jehovah's witnesses are not against CS except it's the persons personal decision.

Whether vaginal delivery or CS, how the baby comes out is not important,the most important thing is mother alive and baby alive.

CS pain and recovery is another story of its own.

When I was 5months gone, I went for antenatal classes one day and saw a lady in labour crying and screaming. I was so scared that i immediately took a decision there to go for CS. Fortunately for me close to edd baby's weight was much had to be booked for CS. I was glad.

I will choose CS over normal delivery over and over again

The elective is when you know from the onset that, that's what you want. Your own preferred way of having your child. While the emergency is when something goes wrong during Vaginal birth, maybe the mother develops High BP or the baby is Breech or Tired or the heart rate is dropping. Basically when the baby or mother is at risk sha.
Doctors, I hope I tried? I've read too many baby books and Labour Room drama on Stella's blog

Depending on the condition of the woman, if there is any little complication, please CS is strongly advised because you may labour for hours and still end up in the theater. And elective CS is more save than emergency CS. The earlier the better.

Stitching is done in both, but CS is no more so, technology has advanced, so you prefer partly CS and partly vaginal. I don't advise anybody to opt for that. Is better you choose a particular method, but funny enough, you hardly see a woman deliver through vaginal throughout, just like i do observe this days.

Haven't given birth yet,but I think I might chose cs,all those stitching and sorry tales I hear of women never going back to their normal sizes,don't wanna give my hubby any excuse to look outside,plus its more painfree,I won't need to sit in a bowl of hot water,yucck!!
