Since Yesterday, a photo of a Ghanaian pastor removing the pantie of a woman in church right in front of the other church members has angered social media users.

Apparently, the pastor who is a Ghanaian and operates in Ghana called the lady in front of the congregation and revealed to her that some evil spirits that have been dealing with her hence her failure to secure a husband.

According to the said pastor whose identity Ghpage.com is digging to unearth, the only way he can help the woman is her used pantie. He went further to command her to give him the one she was wearing at the moment. He even helped her to remove the pantie.

Since the photo of the pastor removing the pantie surfaced online, social media users have launched series of attacks and curse on the pastor with many describing him as demonic

Some have channeled their attacks on National Christian Council describing them as toothless bulldogs who have on countless times refused to do something about the growing menace of fake pastors in Ghana.

The hoax was made to look valid by lots of photos of what looked like human flesh hanging on hooks at a human factory.

The Zambian press widely circulated the photos while making references to alleged sources from China where the factories were rumored to be located.
In a different twist to the story, China’s ambassador to Zambia denied the allegations vehemently, claiming that the hoax was slanderous and was meant to maim the healthy relationship that China enjoyed with Zambia.

Zambia’s minister of defence apologized for the whole nation for the malicious misleading images. He said that the government was going to conduct an investigation and give a full statement in due course.

A 42-year-old mobile money agent has committed suicide in Koforidua.

Kofi Nti hanged himself on a mango tree with a nylon rope Monday dawn following confusion over some stolen GHC3000. It is unclear his role in the stolen amount.

The incident occurred at Junction 1, near the Koforidua Polytechnic.

Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah reports that the body of the deceased is still hanging on the mango with Police yet to arrive at the scene.

He died at age 59.

A Korean eatery operating in Accra, Peterpan's CEO, Young Gyu Lee was arrested for having allegedly abused a worker with a hot pizza. He is said to have slapped the victim with the food.

Mr. Gyu Lee allegedly slapped the supervisor on duty on Tuesday, after a piece of pizza got burnt. The victim, Cecilia Ampadu, reported the incident at the Airport Police Station, leading to the arrest of the Korean CEO.

Veteran actor,popularly known as Diabolo has described actress Juliet Ibrahim’s statement that young movie makers are the ones putting Ghana on the map as myopic and presumptuous.

According to a publication by Hitz FM, Juliet Ibrahim in an interview with Joy News at the premiere of her colleague actress and producer Salma Mumin’s movie ‘No Man’s Land’ at the Silverbird Cinema over the weekend said, “We the young movie makers today are the ones putting Ghana movie industry on the map. When I visit Nigeria and I step out, people get to hear about the Ghana movie industry just because they hear that I am a celebrity from Ghana.”

Reacting to the statement on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Thursday, Bob Smith Jnr said it was unfortunate for the actress to have made such remarks.

“Does she want to mean that her predecessors did not do enough for her to take the baton?” he queried.

“Do you remember Kwao Ansah’s ‘Heritage’ and other movies? They hit international standards even before we came and Juliet’s generation followed. ‘Kukurantumi’, ‘African Timber’ were all Ghanaian movies that went international. So I find such a statement presumptuous on the part of someone who has become a star not too long ago,” he added.

Bob Smith did not agree that the seeming absence of old actors from the scenes should warrant such a “myopic” statement. He told host, KMJ, that veteran actors did their best to sustain the industry before the current crop took over, adding that they are available for movie roles provided producers would engage their services.

“These days, most of the young people have started doing their productions. And they would want to bring the young people they know or get younger persons and make them up… So I think that Juliet is not looking beyond. She is being quite myopic. She thinks this is her time. After sometime, no production house would want to call her because of certain statements like this,” he said.

The Mama Mia actor asked that Juliet Ibrahim apologises for her comments.

A Manchester Crown Court in the United Kingdom has increased the jail term of a Ghanaian immigrant, Francis Kofi Okrah, for raping a

Okrah, 36, is reported to have appealed his seven year jail sentence but had six weeks added to it.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Okrah had gone to the court to have his jail term reduced claiming his trial was unfair because his barrister hadn’t made his victim cry in the witness box.

Okrah said his defence lawyer Nicholas Clarke had been 'too soft' on his victim and should have cross-examined her hard enough to reduce her to tears during his trial.
He was convicted of raping the lesbian who he lured to his flat on the pretext of helping her re-charge her phone.

The victim whose name was not mentioned was said to have ended up on her own after a night out in Manchester in 2010 and was at the train station at 2.30am when she realised her mobile phone had run out of battery.

Isolated from her friends, she met Okrah by chance and he invited her back to his home, then in Beswick, to charge her phone. Having been drinking, she 'naively' agreed, the court heard.

She told Okrah she was a lesbian and not interested in him but, after falling asleep on his bed, she woke up to find him raping her.
Despite screaming at him to stop, he carried on regardless telling her 'he wanted to make her pregnant'.

Swabs were taken from the victim; but a DNA match to Okrah was not made until 2013 when he was arrested on suspicion of another offence.
He told the court the woman had consented but the jury found him guilty of rape in November 2013.

He then tried to challenge his conviction, claiming Mr Clarke had been too soft on the woman after she described her ordeal to the jury from the witness box.
He argued the barrister was wrong when he 'refused to cross-examine the complainant so as not to make her cry'.

Okrah also claimed the jury should not have been told about her sexual orientation or his immigration status.
He even complained that Mr Clarke's closing speech to the jury was 'ill-advised and inappropriate'.

But Appeal Court judges were so horrified by Okrah's complaint that they instead gave him an extra six weeks behind bars for wasting their time.
Judge Munro told him: 'No point you raise renders the decision of the jury arguably unsafe.'

She said Okrah's barrister was simply 'not entitled to cross-examine a victim for the purpose of making her cry'.

The jury was fully entitled to know the victim was a lesbian and to be told of Okrah's status as an illegal over-stayer, she added.
And Mr Clarke's closing speech was 'carefully crafted and delivered', she concluded.

Judge Munro, who was sitting with Lord Justice Simon and Mr Justice Hickinbottom, dismissed the appeal.

Condemning Okrah's challenge as 'wholly without merit', she ordered him to serve an extra 42 days in jail for wasting judicial time.

Police in Obuasi in the Ashanti region have arrested a 45-year-old man for allegedly have sex with his 21-year old daughter.

The incestuous act was reported to the Obuasi Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) by the victim after she was beaten by her father, Efo Red.
Commander Togbui Adakpui confirmed the arrest to Adom News Wednesday, a day after the father was arrested.

Adom News’ Isaac Normenyo reports that checks revealed that the suspect has been repeatedly having sex with the 21-year old. It is believed that Red was responsible for her three pregnancies, two of which the victim was forced to
abort.

“The victim refused to abort a third pregnancy which she is carrying now and that is why he beat her,” one neighbour said.

It was when the victim refused to abort a third pregnancy that the suspect assaulted his daughter.

The victim’s mother who had lived in Bolgatanga in the Upper East region, the reporter found, brought her to live with her father who had abandoned them for years.

The mother located Efo Red at Kwapia near Obuasi where he was then living with his new wife. Soon after the arrival of the victim, however he divorced his wife.

According to the victim, she phoned her mother to lodge a complaint after her father assaulted her.

The DOVVSU Commander said a docket is being prepared to arraign Efo Red before court.

Celebrities in debt? Kanye West is in debt and needs help, according to his Twitter account. This may be a publicity stunt to promote his new album.

The rapper recently revealed on Saturday that he is $53 million in debt via Twitter after dropping his new album.

Now, West is turning towards the founder of Facebook to help him.

West asked Mark Zuckerberg over Twitter to “invest $1 billion into Kanye West ideas.”

Before performing his newest hits on “Saturday Night Live,” West tweeted about his debt.

It’s not clear whether the debt is real, although the performer did claim a year ago he was $16 million in the hole trying to launch his clothing line.

However, his wife reportedly made $52.5 million in 2015, according to Forbes.com.

West went back to Twitter on Sunday to ask one of Silicon Valley’s richest young men for help, Zuckerberg. West sent out a series of Tweets asking Zuckerberg to give him an investment.

He is even asking the public to draw the attention of Mark Zuckerberg to help out, according to CNN.

Diminutive Ghanaian actor Yaw Dabo nearly drowned in a swimming pool on Tuesday, according to reports.
The actor was acting on the set for upcoming movie, Kakai Soldier, with other cast such as Kyeiwaa and Vivian Okyere among others at the Njul Guest House in Mankrong Nkwanta in the Agona East Constituency when the incident took place.

It is really not clear what exactly happened but a source from the set told NEWS-ONE on Tuesday afternoon that some crew members went to his rescue.

According to the source, he didn’t know how to swim and was made to shoot in the pool until he started gasping for breath.

Dabo is one of Ghana’s smallish actors who are doing very well for themselves.

He is popularly known for his performance in the movie, Me Giwu Girl, by Media5 Promotions.
