bamsz:Yes, went to the ABH in person with lots of documents as requested in the appointment letter. The document list I believe is different from state to state |
Visum alert, timeline below Booked- Feb 8, 2022 Appointment - Feb 17, 2023 Interview - March 14, 2023 ABH sent appointment letter - April 21 ABH appointment- May 2 AM - May 4 Visum delivered today May 12 PS - spouse is a blue card holder and wasn’t required to do verification. Also, reaching out to the embassy helps a lot, via email, not phone cos the woman that picks the call can discourage you. For each of the milestones above, reached out to the embassy a day or two before |
Ahmed4002:What was then the case? |
Ahmed4002:Omooo, e choke true true Congratulations once again One question, did your wife pay for verification when she went for interview cos it seems you were not previously aware of A1 and verification |
Ahmed4002:You don dy delay update like German embassy o 😀 Person dy refresh for your update like waiting for AM |
klodgirl:Congratulations! But why the 1 month+ break after ABH approval? You have any idea? Cos I think after the approval, embassy asks for passport few days or following week |
Thanks so much |
heybaby12:Omooo! They didn’t collect verification fee from my spouse though (blue card) Could you pls give me the details of those you contacted in Frankfurt/Berlin that provides the status Many thanks |
heybaby12:Wawuu, thanks for your update. Could you pls confirm what happened since Feb 2022, that led to a second confirmation? My ABH contact said she has received my spouse’s application via email and expecting it via post, once it arrives she will send an appointment for me to bring my documents |
heybaby12:What do you mean by second approval please |
chidi4eze:What is then the current situation with your spouse? Why did she have to submit A1 and verification when you’re on work visa or did I assume wrongly the work visa is not blue card? |
How can someone know if application has left Lagos please? To know if they have sent it to foreign office? |
Ahmed4002:Please does spouse of a blue card holder need to pay verification fee |
Hello all, I like to ask the issue about verification fee. Is it to be paid by partner of a blue card holder as well? I have asked two people with blue card and someone’s partner paid the verification fee while the other person didn’t pay. There was no verification in both cases eventually. Any insight here pls Also, is there anything like pre approval for family reunion? |
Hello who knows the procedure for visa appeal for a study visa that was rejected |
Hello, does anyone have contact of an immigration lawyer for a visa that was rejected without any reason? Is it worth appealing? Are there any chances? |

Hello my nairaland fam. Been a very long time, I literally spared all day to read all the posts I've missed, about 15 to 20 pages. Lol Don't mind me, I'm just concerned to know the present condition. I was initially sad it's still the same story but with the last 2 pages, ADs are flowing this May. Gut! I pray God settles everyone. Let me firstly reinstate this fact someone earlier mentioned, let's be cautious of what we post here. I had an experience on my interview day(last year) and the embassy staff referenced this page. So, I'm sure of what I'm saying. My point? They know what's going on, they have always known but for reasons best known to them, AD na wahala. For those of us trying other countries, I wish us well and I even need update of easy eu countries to process o, lol ( for my guys in naija tho). So, please anyone with useful info, kindly reach out. Dont let us give up. Na who give up mess up. Germany is very cool and worth the struggle( once you enter, you would technically forget all these struggles, as I was readingthe thread today, na so I dy remember the struggles 2019/2020 but we thank God) The weather is getting more friendlier and I personally thank God for His favour I'm still enjoying. Let me use this opportunity to advise those going for interviews soon and those coming very soon not to come to DE with the mentality that " na Europe, we no need God again", hmmmm. Getting to Germany na big deal, settling in na another bigger deal. For without Him, we can do nothing... I'm online at the moment to answer any questions or any clarification One love bosses! |
The problem is most people don't read the context well and quick to jump on anything that has to do with church. They recognised him for the leadership role he played while he was in the bible school and not as the vice president of the country. Don't you see all the verbs are past tense? |
Hmmmm |
Activist001:Haha , I'll try my boss. Thanks! |
Hello everyone. It has been a while here, my apologies that I'm just coming back. Glory to God, I arrived deutchland last month. The struggle was real but God came through( I've shared my testimonies here on this thread). This thread really helped me as there were so much information to digest when I came across it, I read hundreds of pages of this thread from beginning of part 7 and we created this part . More importantly than the first hand information I got here, I met with high intellects with common goal, most that we are now friens. I appreciate these two gifts from God. Thank you friends! To all other aspirants looking forward to come to DE, please do not give up on the dream until you leave "that" country. It worths the struggle, I tell you. My advice concerning the AD; As we all know that the delay started early last year and I can boldly say I experienced the traumatising experience, it wasn't easy! My case was quite peculiar, it's enough to get into depression. After months of waiting for AD, that I miraculously got one, it was cancelled due to pandemic and another wait of 6 months started again! I mean 6 solid months of waiting for embassy to reschedule us. God eventually came through with that and less than 24hours to my new AD, it was cancelled again due to endsars protest, I was already in the hotel at v.i when this happened, I nearly broke down but thank God to God's Words that I was able to hold unto to keep being strong. Eventually, I did my interview and the remaining fell in place. Chaii, I wanted to advise oo, I am already saying story, lol. Firstly, I want us to know that those people know what's going on. In fact, they know about this thread! I confirmed it on my interview date. All of our messages here, they see it. Also, school and embassy are two different entities, they do not work together. That's why schools can keep on giving admissions with no hope of AD. Also, I don't think they are doing it intentionally but I think they are just trying to cut down on the numbers from Nigeria. Hence, the introduction of several segregation factors (categories and all). Obviously, the pandemic worsened the situation. Now, the question on everyone's lips, when are they going start giving out dates. I don't know and I don't think anyone here knows, even the workers there because that day, some security guys were asking me how I got AD and all, meaning it is almost impossible to runs it(naija way)... they released a memo that they are only attending to scholars for now and that's perfectly true, I know someone that won a scholarship October, he cancelled the initial CAT A application that has waited for months and called them that he just won a scholarship, he was asked to send proof and in 2 working days, they sent him AD. He got AM less than 2 weeks after his interview self. So, in essence, if we can shoot for scholarships, it would help. And another suggestion I can give is try another schengen country, I know this is hard to accept but I'm advising based on the realities on ground. A friend I met on this thread started Poland applications last year in the midst of the waiting and he arrived Poland last week. In few months time now, he can get his PR and apply for Germany student visa from there while still.being a student of a German school with the privilege of online enrollment. This thread really helped me and these cents I've come to throw to us is just part of giving back to the forum that has helped me. I wish everyone well and success in our endeavours. If you want to ask me any question, you can drop it here so we can discuss and others can benefit as well. Once again, do not give up until you leave "that" country. One love |
ExchangA:How do you know and how many do you know? The only people getting dates are those that had dates b4 lockdown and scholarship guys. I know of someone that got a scholarship, cancelled, rebooked and got a date in 2 days |
Chukskala022:No, please don't be tempted to use. It expires after 6 months of issuance even if it carries 5 years |
Y3mi11:Have you tried to check daad.de and do a filter? You will definitely get on daad.de |
Ayobami2001:Responded already, thank you |
tosenj:Not at all |
Beardedviking:How is it risky to believe the truth? What's shady about it? Please act fast |
