Nigerians who can't stop and ask why a man like Buhari is their president, in a country with hundreds of thousands of young, non-corrupt, better-educated presidential candidates than Buhari.

Answer: a rigged political structure of Nigeria by soldiers of Buhari clan left a 36 states structure where even a cow from northern Nigeria must defeat a most qualified professor of law from any place in the south of Nigeria in Nigeria's presidential election, once northern politicians insist that the president must come from the north.

I was telling my friend here in Abuja (an Igbo guy) who was wondering why I was so against IPOB and Kanu, here is what I told him...

IPOB is not agitating for Biafra, they are poisoning the hearts of Igbos against the Hausa/Yoruba and they in turn get their minds poisoned against not just IPOB but Igbos, Ijaw, Idoma, Yoruba, Efik, Urhobo, Itsekiri etc. I mentioned all tribes because the average Fulani man can't distinguish an Ijaw man from an Igbo man. When they start the madness in the north, they will not spare our lives, properties and our businesses, while down southeast soldiers will not spare innocent people in the communities. There is rules of engagement but how many soldier have time to pick up the small book where it is written before acting? Not even American Soldiers would do that.

So we will have a situation of unrest in the Southeast, which will give rise to suffering, death and poverty, and trouble for people of SE/SS/SW and MB descent in the NW, part of NC and NE. We can't allow this to happen!!!

Thanks to God for the relative return of sanity
Nnamdi Kanu must have capitulated long ago if his IPOB is not agitating for restoration of Biafra.

You live in Abuja, abandoned the poor in the oil-logged and polluted fishing routes of the Nigerdelta.

These poor ones are the people Nnamdi Kanu returned to the heat of the battle in the east to struggle for their emancipation. But Igbophobia would not allow people of your sort look beyond the nose

Perhaps, you must have bought the passport, because I have not seen anybody with the passport.

Remember when your forebears travelled to Kaduna in 1967 and begged Hassan Katsina, former governor of northern Nigeria to beg Gowon to carve out the non-Igbo areas of the former eastern region from Biafra.

Immediately after the journey, Cross Rivers and Rivers states were created.
Shortly after, northern politicians and soldiers seized the oil wells in your back and front yards. See what Igbophobia did to you. Uptill today, Igbophobia makes you still negotiate for crumbs from the cake baked at your backyard. At least remember your offspring in a dysfunctional country.

When the fraudster kanu came to Nigeria and was arrested in a hotel while phcuking an ipod prostitute, his daft criminal followers said kanu had a plan and Buhari was falling into his trap. They made all sorts of noise with empty chest beating that kanu is British and the British govt will be coming to Nigeria to rescue kanu and force Buhari to conduct lefelendum .

Kanu stayed almost one year in kuje eating strong beans and we did not see the british govt. The senseless ipod animals came up with another story that they were supporting Trump and the moment he wins the US elections, He will be coming to Nigeria to arrest Buhari and grant them Biafra. Oga Trump became president and we did not hear anything. The criminals changed the store that Putin will be coming to give the Biafra. They even claimed to be Jew doing all forms of senseless DNA and claiming Isreal will be coming to give the Biafra.

When the fraudster king of criminal pigs kanu saw that his scam was being exposed gradually, he lied to the court that he was sick and needed medical attention. Here in the United States, I've worked with some top military brass (my boss in this picture is a colonel and counsel to General Vadnais of the United States Army).www.nairaland.com/attachments/5969683_adeyemo_jpeg36f1cb47cb176f0ba1c1c8b9ba79bb6f

Military strategists don't like war/conflicts, but they've no choice. In any military operation, things can get ugly very fast.

When I (as a law clerk to the General Counsel) participated in "Operation Northern Strike" scenario, Captain Ryan tasked me to review a pocket-size rule of engagement for soldiers, so I included all statutory and humanitarian laws in it.

During the simulation exercise, we got some feedbacks from foot soldiers and their leaders: JAG (acronym for military lawyers) officers are unrealistic, they said.

When real hostilities begin or any military operation is initiated, and a soldier faces an imminent threat to his life, he doesn't revert to a pocket-size manual on the rule of engagement (he doesn't call the Commander-in-Chief); his first instinct goes to his basic training: And that can mean anything, depending on individual soldiers.

Does a soldier face the risk of being tried in a military court, for violations of human rights? Yes, but guess who will judge him? A soldier (or soldiers) who had been in his shoes. With all the atrocities committed in Iraq, Israel, and Afghanistan, how many soldiers are in prison?

My point is this: Don't mess with soldiers with guns and bullets. Let's embrace peace, for "dead men tell no tales."

Akintunde F. Adeyemo.
@Akintunde F.Adeyemo,

US soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan - in hostile countries - could be challenged by armed civilians.

There is no IPOB member that carry arms to challenge Nigerian soldiers - no evidence so far, to have provoked Nigeria army into today's ISLAMIC STATE style of torture and murder in Eastern Nigeria.

There are plenty Akintunde Adeyemos in the southwest region of Nigeria. They clutch tightly to a sinking ship because the ship contains valuable merchandise. They use all tricks in the books to stop those escaping the sinking ship.

IPOB is a non-violent and non-criminal organization asking for a new country, Biafra, be carved out from Nigeria through Internationally-established norms.

A war to get Biafra from Nigeria consumed more than 3 million people, mostly civilians in the Biafran side.

The US military can not endorse the ISLAMIC STATE (ISIS) style of torture and murder going on in the eastern side of Nigeria by an apparently selected Jihadi soldiers from Nigeria armed forces.

The endless and murderous Jihadi activity of northern Nigeria Muslims, which southwest Nigeria's Muslims acquiesce to, largely stoke the embers of the agitation for restoration of Biafra.
