Alariiwo:
It's very visible to even the blind.. SW is the best.

The SE surprisingly falls in the least position despite their small size and landmass.
Northern zones are just there, fairing well.

SW contributes the largest IGR to Nigeria. Over 60% of total revenue generated in the country.
So cocoa of SW now contributes more than crude oil?

And you always say Biafrauud as east wants to pull out of Nigeria, refuses it, because of crude oil in the SE/SS.

You only get sharp mouth.

Don't curse me, curse crude oil in the Niger delta.

Boko fights for a country to be ruled with Islamic Sharia criminal codes. It's the same Sharia criminal codes that 12 northern Nigeria states adopted since 1999; but the northern Sharia states still stick to one Nigeria because of cheap cash from crude oil.

RIP - like since 2009 when Boko intensified its campaign fur a country to be ruled with Islamic Sharia criminal codes.

A major factor in this impasse is that Atiku truncated OBJ's plan to pull a Mugabe on us. The old man from Ota is shameless.
Atiku rather stirred impeachment for OBJ, but later watered it down.
That's when both started to go their ways.

Nigerians through the NASS truncated OBJ's Third Term bid, not Atiku who had no powers to do that. Because Atiku had before then become politically ostracized by OBJ.

fact
You are proposing for this country to be further dragged down the drain, like you must have campaigned for Buhari in 2015.

At this juncture, Nigeria needs a well educated, less corrupt technocrat - an Obama, a Cameron - to run Nigeria out from the deep hole it is;

not a business-as-usual personality like Atiku.

The idea of inept and corrupt Buhari handing over Nigeria to a more corrupt and barely educated Atiku is sickening.

Atiku's promise of political restructuring is falsehood.

He knows that he can't get the support of north to preside over political restructuring.

In Anambra state: Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi for a start - Anambra state governors have to deal with providing development infrastructures to these three big cities.

In Imo state, gullible ones are fooled by a governor who reduced Imo state to become Owerri where he provides development infrastructure.

While some politicians are busy wasting millions on propaganda and blackmail against Okorocha on social media, they refuse to come to terms with the reality that it is those on ground that have the final and real say. I understand that they are aware that Okorocha has Presidential ambition hence their strategy of giving false impression to outsiders about state of affairs in Imo State to an extent that some people who have never been to Imo believe their lies. This Christmas a large population of the misled diasporans shall visit home and will be overwhelmed by the level of miraculous development in the State because they will come with low expectations.
Gubernatorial clowning, or Political blindness, or plain wickedness -

...as there are hardly any more roads to drive on in urban centers and communities outside Owerri, little rains keep people indoors due to absence of drainage system, no single notable development infrastructure of Gov Rochas Okorocha in Orlu and Okigwe zones of the same Imo state, while Okorocha builds luxury beach and duplicates Inland roads and ten-lane streets and flyovers in Owerri?

Recently, Okorocha cautioned Owerri people that no body from Owerri has businesses more than him in Owerri. He also has the biggest private home in Owerri. But why must Okorocha selfishly subject rest of Imo state outside Owerri to this untold hardship because of his private business/home or whatever in Owerri?

Uche Nwosu ashamed of his community?

The reasons may not be far-fetched. First, Nkwere in IMO had a notoriety as one of the largest concentrations of the Osu caste system.
Who is writing this? Don't let Nkwerre kick your ass.

I am from Orlu, Nkwerre is not noted for Osu. Besides, Uche Nwosu is not even from Nkwerre, even though he claims Nkwerre, perhaps for lga. He is from Eziama Obaire in Nkwerre Lga which voted Ohakim in 2011.

Uche Nwosu and his Oga Rochas are not politicians. Nwosu built more length of roads in his Eziama community than Okorocha govt built in Orlu Urban lga with more than twenty communities and hundred times more populated than Eziama. Ortlu Lga gave Okorocha the highest number of votes in 2011, but Okorocha and Nwosu decided to wage war of no development against Orlu.

Uche Nwosu was merely conferred with citizenship of an Owerri community because Nwosu and Okorocha face development of only Owerri, while rest of Imo state decays.

This is what Babangidas wife caused.
Lack of understanding.

There should have been three govt houses in every state - one in each senatorial district.

Development is supposed to be even in all the three senatorial zones in every state. Important govt infrastructures in one zone must be done in other zones. That's why Nigeria is divided into senatorial zones for even development.

But in Nigeria, there are states whose state capital contains and covets every development in the state.

In Imo state for example, people of Owerri think it is strange for government to do any development project outside the state capital. Governor Okorocha believes same, and has done 96% his projects in Owerri capital. Okorocha even tries to close a teaching hospital not built in the state capital, and wants to transfer it to state capital, because he does not understand why a teaching hospital could be outside the state capital.

President Muhammadu Buhari's aide on social media, Lauretta Onochie has said Pro-secession group, the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu were 'contracted' to destroy the hard work of the Igbos.

Onochie, in a Facebook post, also reacted to the endorsement of president Buhari for Second term by Ebonyi state governor and member of opposition party, PDP, Engr. Dave Umahi. The outspoken woman wrote;

"The Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has led the people of his state to key into the policies of the Buhari Administration.

It’s an open secret that Ndigbo are very hard-working. The application of their hard work has continued to make millionaires especially in agriculture and manufacturing, a success story IPOB was contracted to drown.

Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has experienced first hand, the fairness and the fatherly disposition President Muhammadu Buhari extends to all governors, irrespective of party affiliations.

He is one of the governors who will not play dirty politics with the future of the people of his state, neither will he have a former president, whose hands are soiled with corruption, to commission projects meant for the good people of Ebonyi State."

kirajustice:
Alhaji Balarabe Musa, a former governor of Old Kaduna has disagreed with a Former head of state, Yakubu Gowon over his statement that Nigeria cannot be restructured.

Gowon earlier stated that due the fact that Nigeria had over 500 ethnic groups with different dialects and languages, it would be practically impossible to restructure. Reacting to the statement, Musa blamed the current problems facing the country on the failure to continue with the 3Rs, reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation which was instituted by Gowon himself after the 1967 civil war.He said;

"If Nigeria had maintained the 3R policy introduced, this wouldn’t have happened.So our own idea of restructuring is first to reconcile Nigerians so that they can commit themselves to one united nation. The second thing we have in mind is political reconstruction in which we will return to the regional arrangements, by having three viable regions as federating unit, as opposed to the present thirty-six states of the country, because they not viable."

He added: "In regional arrangement where we have 6 states for instance, with rich regional government, having their own constitution and federating unit, whereby they manage their own affairs they have the resources at their disposal, they will not have to be depending on the federal government.

The other restructuring we required is economic restructuring, the government at every level should play it role in the economy, in order to ensure stability, peace and equality for the development of the whole country. This is our idea of restructuring.

And that is why we don’t need 36 states, we want to return to the 1963 constitution, whereby our regional government with their constitution will constitute the federating unit, were eastern, western and northern region was viable enough and even the middle east that came later was viable, as compared with the federal 36 states.

If any region wants, they can create more states and local government, if they want, provided they create them without depending on the center.So am not in support of what Gowon said, restructuring is possible and is even desirable."

But no southerner can win either, given that provision that a candidate must win 25% votes in 2/3 of 36 states (24 states) before the candidate can be declared winner. The northern generals who crafted the political structure and supervised the 1999 constitution understood this. They also understood that southerners are mostly politically naive. Arewa Youth Forum has predicted what President Muhammadu Buhari must do to enjoy massive vote from Nigerians in 2019.

President of the Forum, Gambo Gujungu said Buhari/s ability to tackle hunger in the land” will determine his victory at the next poll.

Speaking with Vanguard, Gujungu said Buhari will be judged based on performance.

Gujungu said Buhari was voted into power based on his promises, and his ability to deliver them will decide in 2019.

According to Gujungu, “You know he came in based on certain promises which he must fulfil in order to convince the electorate to go for him or not.

“I suspect strongly that the 2019 presidential election would be based on performance and not on promises because Nigerians are very enlightened and expectant.

“How far the President and his party are able to fulfil their manifesto to the people and tackle hunger in the land will be a deciding factor in the next poll.

“Do not forget that government is supposed to add value to people’s lives and Buhari’s government would be judged along that line when the time comes.”

President Buhari is best positioned to create the merited sixth state in the SE area. Abacha hijacked the sixth state of the SE to make the 7th state in his Northwest.

Absence of sixth state in the SE is the mother of all marginalization of the Igbo by Nigeria.

Land mass is never used as yardstick to determine where and how many states or provinces or local govt areas can be created in a region of a country formed by many different regions. One northern region became 20 new political units (19 states + Abuja), but two southern regions became only 17 new units (states). Only in Nigeria could that remain.

Sorry, your arguments above do not add up. If a governor is giving free education but Imo State University (IMSU) Owerri, and Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH), Orlu, are abandoned to collapse, what is the sense in the free education?

IMSUTH is even worse, scores of students are in their 9th year of a 6 years course, but still cannot sit for their last MBBS exam because of a little amount of money needed for accreditation of a few courses.

Atiku's Belief in Fulani's one Nigeria, not belief of most of rest of Nigeria.

Fulani-loyal soldiers recreated Nigeria into 20 states for ONE northern region, but 17 states for TWO northern regions. Fraud. Land mass is not used as yardstick to create new political units in a federal country.

Through the 20 northern states, most of Nigeria's shared revenues go to northern Nigeria which add nothing to Nigeria's purse;

from the 20 states, Fulani-controlled northern Nigeria also draws undue large number of political representatives to the National Assembly and to the Federal Executive Council and National Council of States to decide everything about Nigeria.

With a constitution supervised by the same soldiers which states that a presidential candidate must win 25% of votes before declared winner, Fulani-controlled north therefore largely decides who must rule Nigeria.

Atiku, go with your one Nigeria. Giving retired Biafra police money does not subtract from our rejection of Nigeria as presently structured and governed.
