But Buhari can do nothing, after all, Buhari enjoys being worshipped like a cult leader because of his inferiority complex.

Leave Kogi matter.
Afonja "sophistiwretchedness" is what is making Nigerians bleed under Buhari govt.

Now if Osinbajo is a northerner, Buhari would have resigned to go and take care of his health.

Before 2014, when Afonja Tinubus travelled to Daura and invited Buhari to come and contest for presidency, Buhari had already announced his retirement from politics after seeing his health conditions.

Afonjas who are on piggyback ride to Aso Rock on the back of Buhari invited Buhari. Now Buhari can't yield.

Okoroawusa bought 50 police vehicles and ordered the vehicles to police only his darling capital city, Owerri which constitutes less than 7% of Imo states population and less than 5% of land mass of Imo state.

The other 95% of Imo state which Okorocha regards as villages are at the mercy of hoodlums, as criminals now shift from the state capital to the villages.

Okorocha also bought up to 100 buses and taxis but limited them to only the roads of his capital City, Owerri.

Let 2019 arrive quick for people to root out Okorocha stranglehold on development in Imo state.

Kazim88:
Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has taken to his Instagram page to highlight part of the president’s early morning speech which he found wrong.
According to the 34-year-old father of one who is far from happy with President Buhari, the second and third quotes that should address the AREWA YOUTHS by is a twist and not an outright condemnation.
He wrote:
I am one of those who waited for the President’s speech and if I say I am not disappointed at some part of his speech will be an act of hypocrisy. It goes without saying that the first quote up there by the President is a reference to Nnamdi Kanu and his people and the term, irresponsible elements shows serious condemnation with a follow up reference to Late Chief Ojukwu’s visit to him.
However the second and third quotes that should address the AREWA YOUTHS by Mr. President is a twist and not an outright condemnation. This is a big GOOF from the President and can be likened to President Trump infamous line that got the America media houses ranting for days unend. The line, I rephase, there are good people on both side.
The President goofed big time on that one and he needs to do better. If the BIAFRAS are irresponsible then same goes to the AREWA YOUTHS. He should condemn them in totality and stop rubbing their egos. What legitimate concerns that are not good for both?
Mr. Kogi State Governor who declared public holiday for the Presidential return has displayed an equal act of irresponsibility as I am trying to avoid the use of the word stupidity. What is it that he is celebrating? Some people are just outrightly annoying. Unfortunately, the lazy ones in Kogi are celebrating another lazy day. Just a piece of my mind.

President Buhari merely continued with his hate speech. From the blood of the baboon and the dog, to fight against Boko Haram is fight against the north, to his presiding more over 97% than the 5%, to now making hate speech in his insinuation that he shall send armed forces to attack dissenters to Nigeria's political status quo. It is all vintage Buhari. A hater hates to the grave.

How can Buhari resign? He can't be impeached because of the undue overpopulation of the NASS by northern political class drawn from the undue large number of 20 states proliferated in one northern region, but only 17 states created in two southern regions. Northern soldiers used land mass as criterion to proliferate 20 new states in one northern Nigeria. That's a huge fraud.

My attention was called to an article where a group of attention seekers hiding under the cloak of Coalition of the Niger Delta Agitators issued yet another senseless ultimatum to people of Northern and Southwestern extraction, asking them to vacate the Niger Delta region before October 1, 2017. These group of clowns who are only relevant on social media but highly irrelevant to the good people of Niger Delta and Ijaw nation, also declared there readiness for the declaration of Niger Delta republic on the said date- a phantom republic whose territory is only defined in the imagination of wishful thinkers.

Clearly different people have different ideas as to what a goverment is....

Let's have a Referendum Already.!!!

The threats against ethnic groups against other ethnic groups and state actors against citizens are on the increase.

There are subtle moves to contain freedom of speech under the guise of 'controllling' hate speech.

Before it is too late Nigerians Must put pressure on their elected representatives in the National Assembly (http://saharareporters.com/2016/04/13/saharareporters-publishes-contact-information-nigerian-lawmakers) To Urgently Pass A Joint Resolution on the Immediate Convening of a Referendum where Nigerians can indicate their Choice of these three options.

1. RESTRUCTURING: I agree that Nigeria should be restructured along Federal, Regional and Local Government lines.

2. BIAFRA: I support the creation of the sovereign state of Biafra.

3. STATUS QUO: I vote that the Status Quo remains

PS. The National Assembly might also be advised to amend the number of days a President can be away from duty so as to prevent a reoccurrence of this unsavoury situation.

We cannot and should not as a Nation be dragged back to the days of absolutist undemocratic government supported by a few.
This is exactly what Nigeria needs to vote on at this time. But Buhari clan believes it conquered the rest of Nigeria in war; Buhari clan therefore has to always use Nigeria army to kill dissenters asking for a change or secession.

Missed opportunity to calm frayed nerves, engender peace and mend fences. This is a man who just escaped from the claws of serious illness and whose actions, comments and inactions plunged the nation to it's divisions and disunity.
Buhari I am one of your supporters but with the speech I heard this morning , you lack wisdom of your age, understanding of the times you live in and you are the greater agent of the agitations springing up around the nation.

Lets imagine a Buhari first apologizing for being away from duty all this while, then providing clarity on the many questions Nigerians are asking pertaining to his health, then also using this golden opportunity to preach peace and unity devoid of forceful and pained intonations and even if its in pretence assure all of his support for the current unanimous call for a change in direction of the nations affairs. These would have gone a long way in changing perceptions and reduce tensions in the polity. Instead he was pretty much occupied issuing threats and shutting down all avenues for a national discourse and negotiations on the nations most pressing issue at the moment.
Buhari makes worse hate speech ever in his broadcast to use security forces to bend secessionists, instead of political restructuring. Even Britain that created Nigeria restructures its polity frequently till today to undermine secessionists.

Let say the fact.
The type of Islam being practiced in the north is the wrong type, primitive and backward.
Moroccans,Algerians,Some Lebanese, Syrians,Tunisian are Muslims as well. But those countries are very liberal even though they have their own nutcases.
Even Syria before the civil war,and Iraq before the gulf war were very liberal.
Northern Nigeria has its head so deep into Saudi Arabia ass that it will take a complete miracle to change orientation.
Boko-haram did not start because of economic issues or , it started because of the primitive type of Islam that is being imported from and exported by Saudi Arabia.
That form of Islam is incompatible with modernity, local culture and history It seeks to destroy what is.
Nothing shall make northern Nigeria shift from its type of backward religious practice, because it is mixed with politics - use government apparatus to spread and impose Islam to all in Nigeria; thereafter, northern Nigeria takes total control of all the resources in Nigeria.
Most of the Southwest region has bought into this.

But in the old eastern region where knowledgeable people are resisting this through agitation for Biafra, there are some elements in the non-Igbo SS being bribed to kick against Biafra.

This gives hope to northern Nigeria that it shall succeed.

This sounds like the typical "They are the cause of all our woes" nonsense. How can Yorubas stop oil firms from relocating their headquarters? Are Yorubas the owners of the companies? You were issuing threats that they must relocate. That's not how to convince companies to listen to you. They have their headquarters in Lagos because their safety couldn't be guaranteed in the ND. Have we forgotten the whole thing about kidnapping foreign oil workers so quick?

Another lie based on ignorance. Almost all the ports in the ND are functioning properly. The proof is here on this thread. All the lies were busted on this thread. https://www.nairaland.com/3977374/eastern-ports-dysfunctional

If the nonsense lie about Yorubas not allowing things work in other parts of the country was true, then why did Dangote leave Ondo state to site it in Lagos. Is Ondo state not a Yoruba state? He didn't site it there because the communities weren't willing to co-operate with him.
Why then has Dangote not cited any project in the SS? Why has TY Danjuma no charity business anywhere in the SS but has them all over Nigeria except SS and SE?

Anyway, you are writing for the few TonyeBarcanisters of the SS who would rather have their offspring in hijab and burqa, than let their part of the SS a country with the Igbo.

"The northerners are holding the Nigerian government and everybody to ransom. They have ruled this country for many years and almost all the oil blocks belong to them. To make things worse, the present government came in, sidelined other people and gave the major positions in the country to the northerners. The President of this country is from the North; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation is from the North; the Inspector General of Police is from the North; the Chief of Army Staff is from the North; the Chief of Staff to the President is from the North; the Minister of Petroleum is from the North; the Comptroller General of Customs is from the North, the Director General of the Department of State Services is also from the North. All the major positions are being occupied by the northerners.

So, if you believe in one Nigeria, why can’t we get some of these positions? The Senate President is from the North; the Speaker of the House of Representatives is from the North. All members of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation board are from the North. With this, how do you want the southerners who have oil to feel? They (northerners) don’t have oil."

Revolutions start from the most deprived to the poor, to the lumpem proletariat, all the way to the upper working class, then to the bougeoursies. Frank the critic says he desires 8iafra, why was Frank not there at Kanu's BSS show, so that it does not become a show of shame? Truth is: most of the rich and well educated Igbo want Biafra restored, but are waiting in the wings for who shall sacrifice his life and time to restore Biafra. It's no use insulting Kanu who has paid dearly to sensitize the public about the evils in Nigeria, just because he did not do things the way you expected him.
Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu And His Mumu Parade by discusant: 5:39pm On Aug 17, 2017
We want Biafra restored. Kalu has played a big role of sensitization of Biafrans, he is now exhauted with ideas. Another genuine leader needs to take over, instead of berating him. Let IPOB START BY VOTING IN IPOB PEOPLE IN ANAMBRA STATE AS GOOVENOR AND LEGISLATORS.
PrettyRita:
I watched with utter disgust a recent video where Nnamdi Kanu was seen gallivanting while inspecting a parade and guard of honour mounted by the 'Biafra Security Service (BSS)' in Abia State. What a shame! While reactions have continued to trail the ambiguous show of charlatanry and utter exploitation of Ndigbo by the masquerade called Nnamdi Okwu Kanu, the facts remain that Kanu is a pseudo criminal perpetuating his ideals for personal gains.
The whole show of shame completely shatters possible silver lining in the rejuvenated Biafran dream amongst Ndigbo sons and daughters around the world. Kanu’s desperation for relevance has taken him overboard in a display of sheer ignorance, lack of coordination and application in his chauvinistic agenda.

The video was supposed to be a propaganda aimed at projecting the readiness of Kanu and his IPOB agitators to enforce the Biafra dream, by applying force where necessary. The BSS is supposed to be the vital component of the Biafran Armed Forces, with the mandate to muster military options in enforcing the realization of Biafran.

However, what we saw was indeed an eyesore, an insult on the intelligence and versatility of Ndigbo. It dashed the hope of anyone who thinks Kanu may have genuine intentions and organized plans afterall.
First, members of the BSS looked hungry, unaware, and are largely illiterate who were apparently detached from the show of shame even though they were the objects of manipulation. The BSS Parade Commander hardly made a coherent statement. He tried to rehearse a script while making disjointed parade commands. Even when the Nnamdi Kanu inspected the parade, it was another shenanigan for the camera.

My thoughts are clear and simple. Kanu will continue to pursue his acts of deception against the sensibilities of Ndigbo, as long as those WHO MUST speak continue to maintain a cold silence or total indifference. I know without equivocation that we the Ndigbo remain the target of Kanu's exploitation. He knows our passion for self actualization, so he will continue to exploit his caricature campaigns at the detriment of our collective will.

No wonder members of the BSS lack any form of originality. They played parade songs of the Nigerian military, while the acclaimed leader of the Biafra movement inspected the parade. They even sang an Hausa song (....wayo wayo wayo,......wayoyo....) commonly used by the Nigeria military and para-military outfits during training and road walks. Even the “general salute” which Kanu acknowledged and the accompanying trumpet sounds is copycat of the Nigerian Army.

It is therefore obvious to all who can see that Kanu has nothing different to offer. He wants to lead the Ndigbo by faith or by force. With his BSS, he is only primed to take his thuggery to Anambra State where he has vowed to disrupt the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the State. We must rise and resist this sham and refused to be cowed by Kanu and his group of Social Media Warriors.
