the fact that you're comparing barca to a man city that had no history prior to 2012 shows your poor sense of reasoning and knowledge of football, no offense.

You are dense. Pre-Pep, Barça never really dominated football except our spells of dominating success in the 70's and 90's. Even our 2006 UCL triumph wasn't so dominating. Pep was the pinnacle of Barça's success.

And the Pep era now being enjoyed by Man. City and what it'd seem like post-Pep as exemplified by Barça's current debacle is what is being debated.

But Seûn has no aptitude test for registering on Nairaland so it's a free-for-all for people like you with single-digit I.Qs for whom deductive logical reasoning is too much of a mental task.

Maitama in Ewet HE area
DissT.roy, are you a regular customer in maitama?

No, I've never paid for sex in my life and never will.

When Unoma Akpabio through her foundation as First Lady was relocating prostitutes from Maitama - prostitutes who are chiefly Igbo (ask anyone to confirm) - around 2012/2013, she paid them between #50,000 to #100,000 as support money so they vacate the area, while she chased the few other prostitutes of other tribes away without the same financial support to go earn a decent living.

Again, ask anyone who knows.

No matter the coach that ends up here ,he will still get bullied by the toxic fanbase

I pray the next coach wins everything

Same thing would happen to Man. City after Pep leaves. The spoilt fans would demand the new coach dominates teams, win back-to-back EPLs and FA Cups, and thrash teams in the UCL every season without fail. And it must be beautiful football.

We have been alpha-widowed by Pep. No new lover would ever be good enough. We've seen the best so better and good seem like failure in comparison.

(Slap)Shut-up!!! XAVI... you're a loser.

You said we will never find a good coach availably better than Xavi, stick to that word and don't confuse thunder.

But we have no guarantee Hansi is going to be our coach.

And Xavi isn't as terrible as we make him out to given the performances of most coaches of top 6 teams in the top 5 leagues.

We still have Pep-philia. Every coach we have would never be good enough for us. Same way we took a dump on Enrique who won us a Treble because he wasn't dominating like Pep was.

Winning the League isn't a enough for Culers. We want every trophy. We want to dominate. The Guardiola era is gone. Let's wake up to it.

I criticize lewandowski because he has been poor this season ,but does that take away his greatness from him? Naaa

Barca fans even slandered pregnant suarez who went to ATM and help them win the league

I will criticize him if he fumbles at next game ,it’s a normal thing ,go and check the chances he has missed this season and you will understand why .

Incase you don’t know lewandowski is the striker with most missed chances in Europe top 5 league

And incase you don’t know he is making more money here than he did at Bayern

Are you sure about this? Where's the stat? I'd surprised Darwin Nunez doesn't rank higher on this list.

If they are only helping out their relatives then that's not tribalism, that's nepotism.

No, it's tribalism when the only relatives you help are from your tribe. I repeat, Igbo first ladies are very notorious for this and it fuels some of the sentiments against Igbos in many places. I haven't even described one-twentieth of how nepotistic Nneoma Akpabio was a First Lady. Thank goodness my people woke up to tame her.

Same way Betty Akeredolu has killed the chances of any Ondo Governorship candidate with an Igbo wife.

No matter how nepotistic and domineering any of the presidential first ladies we've ever had were/are, I can guarantee you, if those first ladies were Igbo women, they'd do worse.

I state this knowing someone would quote this in the future on a thread I frequent here and I stand by it, including on any platform.

His wife cannot help Igbos and majority of Igbos don't even know nor have ever heared about her. She's probably helping her relatives and uninformed people like you think Igbos are benefitting. Akpabio might also be helping his own relatives but you want him to help other Akwaibomites he doesn't know. The world doesn't work that way

Dude, shush it! I'm Ibibio. Unoma Akpabio, like most Igbo first ladies, is notorious for that. It almost cost her husband a second term as Governor when Akwa Ibom people revolted against her. She toned down in 2015 but has begun again.

We'd never forget how she tried to flood Akwa Ibom State Civil Service with Igbos and the prejudice she displayed at Maitama, Uyo. No Igbo state would tolerate it.

Her antics has put a question mark on the ambition of politicians with Igbo wives in the state. Ask anyone versed in Akwa Ibom politics to confirm this.

Really?cheesy
@Dis.sTroy is this guy's claim true?

Not exactly. But the OP is right about Igbo wives being nepotistic and giving jobs to their Igbo relatives alone.

Nneoma Akpabio as Governor's wife was notorious for scheming Igbo people into Akwa Ibom State civil service until we fought back and kicked them all out. ALL OUT. It was so bad Igbos began boasting they control Akwa Ibom.

It's one of the reasons any person contesting as Governor or Senator in Akwa Ibom with an Igbo wife has another hurdle. It worked against Nsima in 2019.

Same thing Akeredolu's wife did.

Igbo first ladies are notorious for trying to hijack what rightly belongs to indigenes to their Igbo relatives. I trust Da Zion Umoh. Now that he's mentioned it, it would be addressed.

Akpabio had to plead when it got to a head as Governor. We'd revisit the issue and address it. If it isn't addressed, Akpabio would pay for it during the elections.

But Akpabio has used his power as Senate President to help a lot of Akwa Ibomites though. Many people I know have been appointed into high and federal offices, including a very close associate of mine recently. Many got civil service jobs too.
Nneoma Akpabio, like most Igbo first ladies married outside their tribes, tends to overdo it. The Igbos wouldn't have taken it if Obi's wife (an Ibibio) tried that as first lady in Anambra.

They scream tribalism but dish it out on a daily.

Why do you lots like to tribalize everything? You are quick to accuse others of tribalism but you are, by default, the most tribalistic people in Nigeria.

Soludo is demolishing and relocating markets in Anambra where all tribes sell in like in Lagos, but no tribe has called it tribalism.

I support and voted Obi but when Obidients are sometimes called a mob, it's because of people like you. Get over yourselves! There are 300+ tribes in Nigeria. Don't always make everything about yourselves. You love the victim complex.

Politics / Re: Senate Says It Is Ready To Amend Nigerian Constitution To Okay State Police by DissTroy(m): 11:52am On Feb 18
I'm not exactly sold on the state police. In states where there's a lot of scrutiny and are somewhat liberal, the media and civil societies groups would checkmate excesses.

But what happens to states with historically autocratic governors where their word is law and opposition hunted to death? State police would be used as a ruse to hound dissenting voices.

Except there's a mechanism which lets the central powers checkmate state police. Imagine what a Yahaya Bello would have done with state police... Just imagine.

Burna Boy doesn't just throw money around so Eedris knows praising Burna would amount to nothing financially. Same Eedris who viciously attacked Timaya out of nowhere because he felt entitled to the later's success, then went on to launch attacks on a few associate artistes he felt entitled to, only to seek public support for his ailment soon enough?

Eedris, like most people, is a desperate social climber; and anyone who reads people well knows the endgame of these seemingly random outbursts.

Even random poses for photos are sexualized if you look closely by the way she positions her behind, boobs, or pouts.

And she goes on multiple dates with men so she can snap pictures of herself and of food as content for her Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook to lure the biggest 'fish' she can. Why do you think most of them choose the venues of the dates?

If she can control the optics, men would salivate and throng after her even as ugly and broke as she is in person.

His people has finally gotten him, after that music and the popularity not much was heard from him , his career nose dived.

Not really. He got millions and cars from Akpabio as Governor, and the next thing he had relocated to the U.S. instead of building on the success of his hit song, album and cross-regional acceptability.

There were a number of then up-and-coming Akwa Ibom artistes in 2011 - 2012 he could have taken under his wings, including MC Galaxy, but he relocated abroad and was forgotten.

By the time he tried making a comeback, everyone had moved on. And he had no hit to match the "Akwa Ibom Ayaya" success. Same thing happened to Bigiano of the 2008 "Shayo" fame and Sean Tizzle of the 2013 "Sho le" fame.

Iyanya who released "Kukere" same time as Mish's "Akwa Ibom Ayaya" in 2011 from the same Akwa-Cross region stayed back and was a household name and mega star till 2016. He's made a comeback now.

Today, hundreds of millions of men (single ones especially) would expend gazillions purchasing gifts for women who would at most offer them sex which is mutually pleasurable in return as gifts, and the foolish men would think the reward is enough.

If you are sure she won't get you gifts, don't get her gifts. And if she can't afford any tangible gifts, you are a fôôl for being with a brôke woman. Some would even send monetary gifts to women far away who would be sleeping with other men today.

Spoil only the woman who makes an effort to spoil you at intervals.

But beta males wouldn't heed this advice.

Good instinct is based on some obscure knowledge base, there are some patterns that have been accumulated consciously or unconsciously in the mind over time, that it gets to some point that someone may not be aware of it, but when need arises, we instinctively adapt those patterns, without realizing, to formulate a solution.

Some make decisions basely on data(often more accurate but bounded), while others on instinct or mixture of both.

Instincts and intuition are two different things. The first is pre-coded into (sentient) beings and reactions based off some knowledge like patterns gleaned over like you've explained;while the second, intuition, is based on nothing but raw gut feeling.

The validity of that gut feeling we call intuition is what is being debated. But there's no scientific explanation for it.

Those examples don't even fall under gut feelings
Actually, they do. Gut feeling is having the urge or push to do something or some insight into a situation with no fore knowledge of it.

After all, most things we do as humans are based on the knowledge we have. And if you have NO pre-knowledge of it yet so certain about the outcome due to some inner conviction, it's gut feeling.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 3:22pm On Feb 12

Spot on. Gut feeling when something seems off is just fear. it's your brain doing subconscious pattern recognition.
Fear? Gut feeling embodies instincts and intuition, and more.

Like encountering a tech problem you've never had before and without checking a tutorial, you fix it. Didn't learn it, never seen anything similar, but you know how to fix it instinctively.

Or like trying to prepare a certain novel native meal. The recipé is hazy, you've never done it before, but somehow you're led on to do it this way and simmer it that way, and it turns out to be a great meal.

Tell me how fear applies to both gut feeling scenarios.
