I found your experience rather scary. Do you just walk off with a total stranger just because he paid your tfare? Even getting off a bus stop before your destination? Gurlllllllll! Don't do that again oh!

The bus stop was probably 2 minutes walk from my home. It wasn't far at all.. Like I said in my post, It was in my area!

Yes, but I didn't have anything to eat there, I declined his offer. ( I wrote it there). I just went in to have a conversation with a man who i thought was interesting. What is greedy in that?

My own scamming experience ...I'm not even sure what to call it.

One day, I entered a bus, I was coming back from the bank. I sat in the front with a guy, the bus fare was only about #50, and the man offered to pay for me. I said thank you and we gisted. He seemed like a nice guy!

He came down in the bus stop before mine own, there's an eatery opposite the bus stop, He asked if I wanted to come to the eatery and chat with him. I said ok.

When we got in there, he wanted to order for me, but I refused, wasn't really hungry, so we just sat and started talking.

He told me that he just got back from the visa office, he got his visa and would be travelling out soon. He said his parents told him to marry before he leaves. He said he would like me to marry him.

I said , I wasn't interested, I was not looking to marry and we just met. So I got up to leave.

He grabbed my purse from my hand ooh and started begging me to marry him, there was money in my purse ( not a lot, less than #500). I said give me my purse I want to leave.

He refused oooh, saying I must agree to marry him and introduce him to my parents right now. He started screaming, saying I must marry him.

People were just looking, Shame started catching me. The more I was demanding for my purse, the more he was shouting that I must marry him ooh.

I decided to walk down and call the Okada men to come ooh, it was my area and I knew some of them.

I came back with one Okada man but the man had disappeared.

The money in the purse wasn't too much and there was nothing else in it. The purse was really old and worn out.

So i did not lose much, but this was the most confusing event in my life.

The okada men said it was a scammer.

Health / Re: Home Remedy To Treat Mouth Odour by divaa: 7:19pm On Feb 13, 2016
Although its not really common in Nigeria, Flossing is one of the best methods to stop mouth odor.

The major cause of mouth odor is food particles that haave been left decayed in our teeth, these food particles are now acted upon by bacteria causing mouth odor.

Brushing your teeth alone , will not be able to remove the small particles stuck in the tiny spaces within your teeth. So flossing with a floss pick or wire will get right in there.

If you don't floss and brush daily, food particles will remain in there and continue smelling.

I'm not sure about this Honey method recommended by OP.!

If you use a good toothbrush and toothpaste, the bacterias can be killed off without flossing!

Health / Re: Why Do Africans/nigerians Smoke In Very Hot Weather? by divaa: 4:33pm On Jan 21, 2016
Smoking is not really common in Nigeria and most people who smoke are usually social smokers- they smoke only with friends or in a social gathering.

Most Nigerians are not doing menial jobs in America, they're mostly professionals - doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.

And secondly, I'm very sure that news was fake.

Instead of wasting food items, give them to the poor. I support this.

Nairaland / General / Re: Most Of The Girls On Nairaland Claiming Intelligent Don't Have Shit For Yansh by divaa: 5:48pm On Feb 15, 2015
Joel3:

that's why some girls here need to be careful with the kind of advice they received from follow girls here claiming to be wise and intelligent or experience in relationship affairs, most of them are lying and dying in silence. They have not even date upto 3 boys and haven't see anything in life.

They do not have a man to call their own not to talk of a boyfriend. and most girls here live fake life online and when they go offline some of them beg to lick dick of a guy.

Sometimes I wonder if they are not the girls we meet on the street and flexing spot. They are cheap bro just get the little money to spend. If I want to f u c k them now I just need some change to go out.

And for some girls here your condition might be far better than those claiming one thing one thing. so stop looking after them. Some will not even see husband to marry with their kind of character and mind set not to talk of settling down.

Cheers

This post is clearing an example of a man who is scared of strong independent women.
Who says a woman cant live a happy life without husband.??

You are anti-feminist and should be banned!

As a Feminist, i say we should vote for Jonathan, it is obvious that he is in touch with his Feminine side.

He doesnt tie his wife down in the kitchen and he has a lot of women in top positions in his government.

Vote Feminism, Vote GEJ
Family / Re: Please I Need Your Advice I Feel Like Killing My Husband by divaa: 3:42pm On Feb 15, 2015
Omamibaby:
Please help me, our marriage is less than a year but my husband is driving me crazy, i feel like killing him. There was a point i wished that something to happen to him so i can rest and have peace
of mind.
My husband has so many female friends and which he claims there is nothing between them yet they keep calling him at odd hours.
He comes back to the house very late.
Before we got married he always takes me along but now I live like a woman with no husband. The most painful part of everything
is that my husband was nobody when I met him. I stood by him, we work hard together
when things were tough while we were dating. Now he has gotten a good job, all he do is to go to the bar, call girls (long call), come back late. Now he deletes every
message in his phone. Recently, He forgot to delete one of the
message he sent to a girl which he told her that he misses her and still loves her. When I met and confronted him, he didn’t say
anything rather he started keeping malice with me for days.
What I don’t understand about the whole situation is that he makes it seem I’m the bad
person, he always say “did I marry him or his phone, that he saw other girls before he got
married to me?” What bothers me is that, if a man has nothing to hide, while will he gets
angry when the wife touch his phone.
I’m so unhappy and I’m scared of walking out because his people have this bad notion
about yoruba women that they don’t stay in their husband’s house and our marriage is
just 10 months old. I’m fed up and tempted to poison him.
.

I will suggest that you go for STD and Hiv test. Stop having sexual relations with the man.

Warn him about his affairs. If he continues, you become at risk. I would suggest you gather evidence of his cheating and use it to embarass him at his workplace.

Try and Get a Job and move out if his attitude does not change.

If you were the one cheating, he would have disgraced you. I dont know why its acceptable for men to cheat but not women.
