Mindfulness: Love is a feeling. Commitment is a choice.
Two different things. Many people commit out of love. Love, however, is not necessary. But who wants to commit to someone they don't love? No my dear love is bigger than a feeling dt can change with weather it a choice to commit to someone for better for worse |

nnamdibig: You don't live in fantasy land when you are happily married with kids. As for OP, I still believe he still need to meet that person he loves before getting married. Am speaking from experience. I agree with u but love is jst a choice and he can choose to love any woman he likes |
Family › Re: Why am I Scared Of Marriage? by divinelove(m): 12:06pm On Apr 23, 2017 |
nnamdibig: You are not ready because you have not seen the one that you love so much that you can only think of a life with her. Until that happens don't marry. And when that happens, you will discover that marriage is overrated when you are with someone that both of you love and understands each other. Lol u r still living in fantasy land. Op is jst a coward and cowards r afraid of everything n die many times b4 their death. @ 34 any responsible man shld have marriage on his priority list if nt married already. Living with one person for d rest of ur life is a tough decision love or no love n it requires a lot of courage n maturity to take dt bold step once u see someone dt meets 50% of ur needs. No one is perfect. Except u r jobless with no source of income, a man @ 34 shld be thinking n planning to marry except he is an irresponsible man. |

bukatyne: Same Nigeria where most people still believe in traditional roles? Emeka must be deluded
Like same people will not scream if the wife stopped performing her duties
@Women behaving somehow when their husbands can no longer provide: Give me a husband who will provide and take care of domestics for one month while wifey does nothing without complaining then we will have a discussion.
To think most of same peeps screamed when that twitter guy said #wifenotcook
Bunch of people always wanting to eat their cake and have it. Domestic duties are really over rated most of these lazy wives have 2 or more house helps dt does everything while d wife esp if unemployed sits to watch TV |

akanbiaa: Its God that feeds us all as long as we are not lazy and dependent God will always create a way to cater for the basics if we humble ourselves. Is like you are looking for a woman to feed ur lazy ass. God is our provider ultimately but God said dt a man that can't feed his household is worse than an infidel. A man has d role of a provider in d family while d woman is a helper |

Iamzik: Aptly summarized.
Those of you shouting the Bible says this and that you need to read the whole Bible and apply wisdom.
The man and the woman are jointly responsible for the welfare of the home. If the man has been shouldering his responsibilities faithfully and things go south, the woman should be able to step in without announcing to the whole world.... if they are truly one.
This is not 1970's where mothers were typically sit at home mums. If you are employed/engaged in business there is nothing wrong in taking joint responsibility for your family's welfare by supporting your husband. Funny how women want equality of privilege with men but do not want equality of responsibilities.
Bottom line the success of the home depends on both husband and wife cooperating in love to achieve great things. For those who know how to quote 1 Tim 5:8 please remember to also quote Prov 31:10-end.
If Emeka truly beat his wife then that is too bad. You don't throw stones at a bird resting on the ground... It will take it as an excuse to fly away D wisdom of God is timeless n never outdated, if u are hoping for a woman to feed ur lazy ass then brace up for what comes with it. A man is the family provider n a woman is jst a helper. This is an eternal truth n standard dt never gets outdated BC it is a Divine law |

Sapiosexuality: You are missing my point. Linda is a billionaire in Naira but a millionaire in dollars. My point is that an idea as big as Facebook cannot be created by a Nigerian in Nigeria simply because the country doesn't even have the means to accommodate it.
Take for example Google and other companies that require direct interaction of satellites in space. Can the Nigerian space agency eben launch a satellite in space, to begin with? It's easier to achieve in a country with a responsible government. U miss my point too u dnt need to be a dollar billionaire when a naira billionaire is more than okay Stop living in fantasy land n get ur lazy ass to work By d way adenuga n dangote are dollar billionaires n they are Nigerians so u can get there if u quit living in fantasy land n get ur lazy ass to work. Nobody owes u anything jst BC u have a good biz ideas, millions of Nigerians ve good biz ideas too |
