Car Talk › Re: Is Hot Water Or Cold Water The Best To Wash A Car Engine? by DjAndroid: 1:51pm On Jan 10, 2017 |
MsDelilah: What a shallow way of reasoning. Because I may know a few things about cars, you've automatically assumed I'm a guy. Good luck with your mentality.
This is 2017. I won't take comments personally, especially when they're made by people that have no idea who I am.
Enjoy the rest of your day. I didn't mean to insult you or doubt your personality. All I meant: rare ladies can do what you did in that explanation. |
Car Talk › Re: Is Hot Water Or Cold Water The Best To Wash A Car Engine? by DjAndroid: 1:27pm On Jan 10, 2017 |
MsDelilah: The engine compartment is not designed for a lot of water – you could be getting water into areas where it shouldn’t be and it can cause corrosion. Water could get into the alternator or the engine sensors, causing damage. It can also push dirt onto belts, thereby causing squeaks. If you’re really unfortunate, water could get into your engine through the induction system, from around the air cleaner. It’s unlikely, but you could force water into the cylinders and cause huge damage. Anything that gets wet should be dried, ideally with compressed air, and then by running the engine until everything dries out.
But to answer your question, washing the engine depends on if the engine itself is cold, warm or hot. Using warm or cool water on a hot engine could cool things too fast, stressing the metal and, potentially, causing cracks. So I'd advise you use lukewarm soapy water to wash your engine.
My dad taught me to use either petrol or diesel to wash my engine, though I prefer using diesel. This explanation shows that this moniker is definitely not that of lady. |

mikolo80: you can sustain all with just music so what are we talking. He said they don't listen to news not whether radio stations exist or not. This is exactly what he was talking about. Ignorance and the defence of it Bros don't argue what you do not know. No radio station can survive with just music except if they are not profit oriented. In Anambra, Rythm fm tried to be the number one music station, but where are they today? The statio is off air now, because they were not making money. It has been closed, every worker sent home. You cannot buy a Litre of diesel for N240 to power your generator everyday just to play music for people, father Christmas abi? You can play only music when you have other cheap sources of electricity but is that business? how can you pay your workers and maintain your equipment? A station that plays only music doesn't attract advertisers, hence no revenue for the station. Radio stations make money from the commercials they broadcast. Programmes attract commercials not music. You may not understand because you are not in the system. That's a lecture for another day. |

chumakk: I went to my village this week and no network was stable there. Only airtel with 3G and MTN that say everywhere go is a liar and very disappointed in glo that supposed to cover the whole country. Etisalat is stable but no 3G. On and off. Even one of my friend too in another state say only airtel is available there. So why do other networks don't invest in infrastructure like airtel? I'm yet to see the reason. |

sarrki: The state Government are far more informed They have information we don't have. Which information? The major yardstick to measure the audience of a radio programme is the number of calls received during a live programme. Maybe Imo people refused to listen to the state propaganda-praise-singing-archaic-analogue radio station and the clueless government Concluded that the region does not listen to radio. The question is, why so many radio stations in the region if there is poor listenership? |

Na him and im family wey no dey read.
8 radio stations dey Abia state.
16 radio stations dey Anambra, 3more to open this year
3 dey Ebony
12 dey enugu
9 dey Imo
If these radio stations are not enjoying massive listenership, why is their business booming? And why this number of stations?
