But a "significant percentage" doesn't mean all. So maybe the insignificant percentage not sourced from dangote's refinery was the one the guy purchased and the same one that burns very fast. Which means he was saying the truth and this damage control is a poor one.
Since FG acted on Binance dollar manipulating in Nigeria, Naira has been gaining strength.
Is it only Nigeria Binance was banned or have issue with the government country?
Why should we be using crypto rate as dollar rate in Nigeria?
Annoyingly, those who have no idea about the extent of Binance manipulation would come on this thread to defend him. Annoyingly
Modified: It's important for Nigerians to have a clue about the basis of Binance trouble in Nigeria.
So Binance and some crooks in Nigeria, colluded together to be placing fake orders on Binance which will required dollars settlement. The crooks would use the receipt of the placed orders to exchange naira to dollar at a very discounted price as the amount is huge.
Eventually, the orders are not existing, the demanded dollars are meant to be laundered outside Nigeria most especially other African countries and sell at high price.
It got to the extent that there was too much demand on dollar which made the suspicion.
Now , how many years have Binance been manipulating naira-dollar rate in Nigeria? That some people said Binance left a year ago while the dollar is still around N1500. So you expect years of manipulating to be vanished within a year?
Dude Naira is still very weak. Banning binance is of little consequence. What are we exporting? Blame your govt.
We no watch. The guy dey find unnecessary traffic and views to his page. The guy no relevant for this fight. Na make Nedu come fight his fight himself. If he no get anything to hide, he supposed don attack vdm tey tey. Mind you this is not the first time we heard accusations like this. Remember the time his wife left him. Similar things surfaced.
This guy is trying too hard na. Just be like babe wey dey force herself on a guy wey no send her. Can't the Nedu defend himself? Why are you the one fighting for him? Vdm no send you, he say you be worm way dem dey use catch fish (Nedu). I no even sabi the guy before this issue.
Meanwhile, Nedu should defend himself. Fear of say if he deny more stories might come out make am quiet since.
For those of us that have never been to that state, reading the comments here is making me confuse. Some are saying he's doing well, while others are saying he's not. Who are we supposed to believe? What's the yardsticks being used to measure whether or not he's doing well?
The problem is not just Tinubu. They should also work to ensure non of the national assembly members come back. They are the worst I've seen in a while. They just rubber-stamp anything coming from the executive. How do we intend to grow when there's no opposition because they are all decamping?
There are lots of 1st class degree holders who are physically and mentally unfit for the intelligence community. In fact, the intelligence community needs more of people who are mavericks, street smart people, people of different backgrounds etc.
The calibre of leaders in our military and intelligence agencies and the way they reason ehn...
I don't completely agree with you. Both of you have valid points. Some crimes can’t be solved by street smarts alone. There are highly complex crimes that require a high level of intelligence to crack. So, I believe the key is finding the right balance between his perspective and yours.
Wow, money wey police pensioners no see after 35 years of service na him this boy receive after just 7 years of service. You see why corruption full civil service?
Very true, love is a beautiful thing. Leave people wey want to vex to go hug transformer. Everybody turn commentator and analyst for another man love matters.
Step aside for who? Which credible candidate can challenge Tinubu? It seems like this actor wants Tinubu to have an easy path to a second term because, honestly, I don’t see any strong contender right now. And the only thing that will make Tinubu step aside is death not even sickness. Or is it El-Rufai they should step down for?
Let me hit you with some real stories of people who started late and still crushed it.
1. Colonel Sanders - The Chicken King
You’ve heard of KFC, right? Well, Harland Sanders didn’t start frying up that finger-lickin' chicken until he was in his 60s. Before that? He was a failed salesman, a gas station owner, and had about a dozen other gigs that didn’t pan out. At 65, with his recipe and a whole lot of determination, he started franchising his chicken business. Today, KFC is a global phenomenon. Imagine if he’d thought he was too old to try.
2. Vera Wang - The Fashion Icon
You see her name on luxury wedding gowns, but Vera Wang didn’t design her first dress until she was 40. Before that, she was a figure skater and then an editor at Vogue. She thought she’d missed her shot in fashion design, but clearly, she hadn’t. Today, she’s one of the most respected designers in the world. It wasn’t about her age; it was about her passion.
3. Samuel L. Jackson - Hollywood's Coolest
Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his big break until he was 46 when he starred in Pulp Fiction. Before that, he was doing small roles, battling addiction, and trying to find his way. Now? He’s one of the highest-grossing actors of all time. Age didn’t hold him back. His persistence pushed him forward.
4. Ray Kroc - The Man Behind McDonald's
Ray Kroc was a milkshake machine salesman well into his 50s when he stumbled upon a little burger joint run by the McDonald brothers. He saw potential, bought them out, and turned McDonald's into the fast-food empire we know today. He was over 50 when he started! He literally built a billion-dollar brand while most people were thinking about retirement.
5. Laura Ingalls Wilder - The Pioneer Author
You know Little House on the Prairie? Laura Ingalls Wilder didn’t publish her first book until she was 65. Yep, 65! She spent years working on a farm, raising a family, and living the pioneer life before she decided to write about it. Her stories became timeless classics, beloved by generations.
So, is it okay to start life at 46? Heck yes, it is. Your age isn't a roadblock; it's a badge of experience. Life doesn't hand out deadlines for dreams. You set your own timeline.
In this life, some people can run, some can walk while others can only crawl, It does not matter whether you run, walk or crawl, My philosophy is to constantly on the move from one point to the other no matter how little.
You’re not too old my friend. You’re just getting started. For me, I will rather die trying to make than to give up.
Go for it.
Well in your examples, there's no Nigerian. One might interprete starting late in a country like Nigeria to be near impossible then.... Or?
There’s a fine line between arrogance and anger. He was visibly angry during his speech, while one of the lawyers he’s paying acted unprofessionally by interrupting him before he finished making his point.
Could he have handled it better? Perhaps. But who are we to judge? Until we’ve walked in his shoes and experienced prolonged incarceration, we can’t say for sure how we’d react in his position.
As for thinking he’s full of himself, that impression didn’t come from this video. It goes back to an older clip, before his rearrest, where grown men knelt before him and kissed his feet.
Judolisco: Oga fubara jst dey collect today... Wetin dey xup now.... D day obidients started supporting fubara, I knew immediately he was in trouble.... I don't understand the post, who is paying who 2 million? Fubara don pay 4 million in total today and it's not about the money, it's the people he is paying it to.....
Try read again. He no collect anything. He withdraw the case, hence the court dismissed it. Mind you we are now in 2025. That 2024 budget no dey relevant again. As for the 2m, he has to pay it. But we all know it's the state government (executive) that will pay the money.
I never realized Nnamdi K was this intelligent. He speaks clearly, though with evident pain. In that video, he confirmed some of the points Farotimi mentioned in his book. Now, it's clear that the judiciary is not just corrupt but also incompetent.
"You are a SAN and don't know the law" "The millions they gave you is making you act like a child" Chai Nnamdi get mouth..
The day similar criminals entered a locked and gated compound with electric fence to steal my pumping machine just because there was no one at home that faithful day for a few hours, that was the day I knew these criminals do not care about others. So they deserves What's coming their way.
What a waste of resources. Running only 9 trips a day doesn’t justify the cost of constructing the structure. We should be aiming for at least one trip every 30 minutes in both directions.
TimeManager: This was how it used to be in the past, when foreigners come to Nigeria for medical treatment. We are gradually restoring the lost glory. May God bless President Tinubu, May God bless Nigeria.
-Kiss the truth!
So you believed this propaganda? You better lick the truth.
Ah, right on cue—the second attack dog has arrived, wagging its tail and barking up a storm.
Forget about his influence. We’re not here for his autobiography. The real question is: is what he said true? Attack dogs never bother with the message; they’re too busy chasing rhetorical squirrels to distract everyone.
A judge heard this case and still imposed a 80k bail on him? The judge, the IPO and any other persons involved in this guy's case will never have peace. No human deserves this kind treatment.
osuofia2: Nigerians are too emotional, they don't do critical analysis. Even though, I know this is a sponsored post against ezetee. For the record, record labels owners spend a lot of money before many artistes get fame, some may not get the fame and make money which is a loss to the label. Rekado banks, Run town, Korede Bello, lil Kesh etc. See as their career get Kwashiokor. Our musician should learn to seperate label business from music. Your talent is useless without the push from the label. Tell me wetin Rema de sing but see as he de blow up and down. They keep pushing his trash to our nose till we all started liking his music. Rekado banks is a better artist compare to Rema but when he started getting money, he left his label now he is struggling
I agree with you 200%. it's not only emotion, most lack the ability of critical thinking and not jumping in the bandwagon.
NNtv: I don't want to call him a weak man but what else should I use to quantify a man like this?
He’s not weak. Don’t trivialize suicide. It’s a serious mental health issue, and those experiencing suicidal thoughts need support from professionals and compassionate members of society.
