Anybody that tells you otherwise must have been to heaven or hell and back to be able to talk about it authoritatively. So yeah I agree with him. Reminds me of the song "people's court part 2" by Mutabaruka. Who know, knows. |

How's it possible for a private citizen to build a refinery from ground up but impossible for the government to repair the ones we have or build one of ours own however small it may be? Who are those forces that were fighting against it? 1 Like |

Zonefree:Are you for real. Buhari govt is by far the worst we've seen in the country history. And Tinubu only just got started. Give the man time. As much as I prefer a different president, he's our president and we should give him a chance to succeed or fail. 2 Likes |

This NLC are bunch of jokers. After one meeting with the govt that didn't yield any fruit, next action is strike. They should've at least tried negotiating with the govt up to 3 times ( to show effort that they want the issue resolve) before threatening with strike action. We are just program for conflicts only. 2 Likes |

Nigerians will rather die in power than resign. The guy doesn't look healthy but yet won't give up power. He should leave politics and take a rest so as to better recover. |

This is something I don't get. Govt approved and yet govt demolished. There's no respect to contractual agreement in this country. At last the owner of the building will be the one to bear the brunt. |

Labour answer to everything is strike. That's the reason strike is no longer effective. 2 Likes |

Why do Nigerians collect loan with no intention to pay back or pay complete. Some will even justify the non payment with the excuse that they have been paying all this while and just because they have defaulted the past few months shouldn't be an issue. The other day it was some Uber drivers complaining about how high the monthly rate they have to pay back for the cars they are using. You are supposed to study the market, do your risk analysis to know if the rate given to you is favourable or not and walk away if it's not. 1 Like |

Am not interested in chatting anyone up privately until I've satisfactory response. The price per sqm shouldn't be a secret so I see no reason why is can't me mentioned here, even with a caveat. |

Ajagunakin:Dude do you even love Nigeria or this is just trolling and you are having fun? Am asking because if someone so incompetent as Buhari could ruled us and badly too, then I don't think Obi will fare worst if he rules. My point is, he's a better candidate than most and let's hope that in another 4 years time he will be able to run again. Or do you see better alternatives to him for the 2027 race? Sentiments aside. |

Not a fan of BAT, but subsidy needed to go. Waiting any longer would've detrimental to the country. Although I think waiting for Dangote refinery to be up and running for a month or two before announcing this would've been better. Also, why is nobody blaming the marketers? Subsidy has not been removed, and they are either hoarding or increasing fuel price for product that was already subsidize. The real saboteur are the marketers. 1 Like |

Gajagojo:Stop insulting him just because you have different views. You are both making your points but you always ended up calling him a child. If you don't like is level of reasoning then move on. No need being condescending and calling him a child. Back to topic, we don't really know what causes the govt to turn on one of its creation. Politicians are always like this. Used and dump and sometimes if lucky, reused and dumped again. |

With the guns found, that guy should be permanently in jail by now. Oh I forgot, we live in a failed state. |

RenaissanceGuy:You are not getting the point. He's respecting the constitution. Tinubu is currently the president and we all have to respect that until a court proof otherwise. As much as I don't like this guy, I agree and respect what he said. This might actually be the first time am agreeing with him. |

But guys, joke and politics aside, when was the last time we have seen a Nigeria leader that people naturally love like this guy? I never see people rushing to take picture with other politicians in a long while. 1 Like |

These fuel stations are crooks. The supply they have is already subsidised but they want to hoarding it so they can sell at increase price thereby making 4 times the profits they are currently making. 1 Like |

Next action: expect the police to roam the streets in the area to arrest innocent boys and turn it into a money making machine. Because bail is never free. I advise all the youths and parents with young boys to lock their kids at home for at least 48 hrs. |

How old are the people on the first page of the comments session here? I expected to see comments that is curious enough to know what about his discussion with the ex president that discouraged him. But all I see are childish but negative comments. We said we want to practice democracy, then there's nothing wrong in anyone even a full time herbalist from contesting elections. So why ask him to focus on his calling (whatever that even means, because some thinks they know other people callings better than that person). 1 Like |

This is not time for grammar. Those men where led to perpetrate that act. The biggest mistake for Nigeria to make now, is to think this was an isolated incident. The sooner the police investigate and arrest the brains behind it the sooner another ipob will be nip in the bud. |

President Tinubu... That sure has a ring to it. Now it's time to work. My only prayer... it shouldn't be as bad as the last adminstration. Hopefully nothing is as bad as Buhari regime... I hope his ministers are not old, incompetent and sychophantic gags that was the hallmark of the last admin. The likes of Lai Mohamed, Festus K and that labour ministers all comes to mind. 1 Like |

He just confessed to a crime of fraud. And in a civilised society, both should be arrested and prosecuted. That simple. No sympathy from me. |

ppogba:The fact that people still fall victims to known scam doesn't take away the fact that they are old types of scam. The ones you listed as example are also old scams just that people from different generations still fall for them. |

It's the same circle all over again. The excuses given to shut down is always security breach. When will people learn? They will make it look like they tried to revive the platform by starting a skeleton operation but after a few days or weeks they will fully shut down. A few months after that, they will start again with another start up. This scam is getting old but gullible people everywhere still falling for it. 18 Likes |

Wow, imagine the kind money for him account for him to meet with a whole CEO. It's not like he's a thief politician looking to get cutback for giving the CEO a contract. I can't even see the branch manager of my bank ![]() The few lucky musicians making it in this country are just blessed and OBO is one of them. 5 Likes |
