As a Chelsea fan I don't watch there game again

And that today is the last day

PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri Hails Peter Obi And Labour Party For Deepening Nigeria's Democracy by djon78(m): 4:14pm On Mar 04, 2023
seborrhic:
Truthfully labour did very well, people that had little got elected.
That is the essence and ideal of democracy.
I found it insulting and laughable at the same time when PDP said they would want to go into alliance with labour.
Another laughable speech was Atiku saying he would have made obi his VP candidate.
Concerning the comedy from Atiku,he still doesn't even understand. If obi had been his VP,the PDP won't have won those places obi won and would have been soundly defeated by Tinubu.Obi won so much for Labour party because he was the principal candidate and voters saw in him,a man who as the number 1 citizen, with executive powers, can effect a meaningful change in the Nigerian society, something everyone knows he can't as an elected VP.
Labour should in the same vain, not make the grave mistake of going into an alliance with the PDP.Nigerians have rejected the PDP and they tried same with the APC in this election.
The PDP is still seen as a dark side of our democratic entity.Labour should only entertain such talks if a new party emerges from a merger of like minded elements of labour and PDP,like happened with ACN,CPC and breakaway elements of the PDP to form APC.
The new merged party can be called for eg,Labour democratic party(LDP) or Labour People's party (LPP) and PDP dies in the process.
God forbid bad thing going into alliance with PDP tueh!!!

We will consolidate on this win election tribunal going our way or not

Labour party are retiring PDP already. In the East, PDP even APGA are all begining because of tsunami awaiting them on Saturday March 11th election

This morning on my WhatsApp group for Anambra, APGA people are beging, because guys dey vex they will vote labour up and down for State assembly election.

They come dey wine us that APGA is ojukwus party, we should not allow shame on ojukwu

We replied them that they now remember ojukwu, when ojukwu s widow Bianca came out for Senate obiano and APGA disgraced the woman.

APGA supported Jonathan, supported Buhari in there elections, when it came to Peter Obi our brother they remembered that they have presidential candidate

Allah we will teach soludo and his minions a very big lesson starting from Saturday March 11th
Then when governor election comes in 3 years time, we go know how far

As for PDP, they are an abomination in the East. Tueh!!

PoliticsRe: Why Is The SE Meddling In Rivers Politics ? by djon78(m): 12:33am On Mar 03, 2023
ChonchaLib:
The past Saturday has seen some interesting developments in Rivers. Traditionally an Igbo heavy demographic area, there has usually been an understanding between SE'ners and the locals. Connections in marriage, business and language have been maintained. Esp, with closely related groups like the Ikwerre, Ndoni, Kalabari, Ekpeye and Etche.

But LP candidate for the House of Reps in PHALGA ? Re-registration of Imo, Anambra indigenes as Rivers voters ? Midnight meetings in Rumuwule, Oyigbo and other places just before the Saturday election and early rejoicing over an Obi victory ? " We go show them."

Many of us have been close to the East. And respect people from there. But at the same time, we remember the Mbaise dominated Odili govt. Then we did not know anything. Today, it is a different case. Nyesom Wike saved our asses, and though the compromise came in the form of a Muslim-Muslim ticket, I think that's a foregone issue now. Everyone is ready to live with it. Peter Obi never agreed to anything concrete, go and ask your elders. Politics is a game of negotiation, compromise and alliances. Not everyone is starstruck, sometimes you need to be clear or at least make promises.

To our Eastern brothers, please respect yourselves and go do your thing in the East. Let peace reign. An Ikwerre, Ogoni or Bonny man cannot take a position in your area. Why take from them ?

We will win on March 11th, but the last thing we want is to be enemies with a culturally similar group like the Igbos....Eastern Region is past tense. This is Rivers State.

Wike is not going anywhere. The visa ban is dead on arrival. He doesn't even use a visa to travel. Do your research.
Your cry never start

How many ikwere, kalabari, ogoni, andoni etc are supporting Wike?

Wike buried his political career by rigging Rivers people vote with what they didn't vote

Amechi, Magnus Abe, Tonye Cole and the Atiku PDP guys etc are waiting for him on Saturday March 11th

Wike will hear from them on Saturday March 11th

He go know how far

And tell him that other groups are preparing well for his thugs

By the way
He was calling igbos in PH for a meeting

Why is he afraid

In two months time he will be gone for good

Peter Obi has retired PDP from the South East

All the legislators from South East who were loyal to Atiku and Wike that pushed Peter Obi from PDP have all been retired

Everyone of them

Peter Obi is now the king of the East

By March election many states especially in the East will be conquered

Especially Enugu and Abia
Then we later wait for imo and Anambra

At least let all the states in the East be under one umbrella so we can chart our development as a people together

Was Tanko sworn in by succession?Buhari bypassed senior judges and appointed Tanko who was not even a supreme Court judge but a Sharia court judge.
Chief justices retire before a new one comes in
Onoghen replaced the retired Chief justice by law as the mist senior judge
but Buhari refused to confirm him because he doesn't like him

The present chief justice still have years to retire and supreme Court cases are decided by not just one judge but up to four justices

The case of Naira issue filled by governor's was decided by justice okoro of the supreme Court

If you don't know that the supreme Court is autonomous then go and educate yourself again

The major problem was Buhari who had no respect for the rule of law
By then he would have gone

This case will be a wonderful one for the supreme Court to show there power
If it goes in favor of Peter Obi better because the judiciary will even be reformed more to become actually the last hope of the common man

Like it's done in serious countries that want to go far

Very true obi has shown a good strength. Having Lagos is a very big advantage.
Common this man shown strength in Lagos, plateau, nassarawa, benue. He deserve his ors. Labor party is built on the structure of the youth and for it to maintain its momentum the youth has to be enthusiastic about Nigeria and its processes. But with this result many youth are down hearted, and may likely not participate in future elections. While the party has shown strength I don't see it maintaining this momentum in the next 4 years.

The biggest winner here is APC they took Nigeria for a ride and still won, they will be banking on the fragmented oppositions, and low voter turn out that will mere the next election. As it's going APC is turning Nigeria into a one party state.

While obi has prove his point, he needs to rectify now with pdp and nnpp. With this show of strength if pdp have sense they should give him the ticket as that is what can excite people ones more, if not omo na APC go they will everything they go like this
To me Obi doesn't need PDP

He should consolidate on labour party, building it with an excellent ideology
Try and win more South East states and other regions in labour family like middle belt, Edo, Delta etc

He should focus on building a credible sound party

Not most part of the country but FEW PARTS. Most part are credible! The rigging parts is rivers Lagos, akwa ibom and maybe imo which should be reassessed. Apart that I believe the other state denotes the strength of each candidates.

Also the next election won't have a good showing as this one, if anything the youth have learnt is you hold emotion but use logical reasoning first. Now most believe the election is rigged nationwide hence they've lost confidence in inec and the process. This will inturn lead to a low voter turnout in the future most especially in the SS and SE....
Sadly this is setting a bad precedence in the SE cause as it stands it'll becoming harder for an ibo man to be president. Labour Party can easily be cemented as a regional party but gaining the needed alliance in the future is yet to be seen.
All these Igbo man being president to me doesn't make sense. Someone being president doesn't do anything for me because he is from my tribe

Buhari presidency did northern people no suffer same thing like other regions?

It's more about our African low premodial mentality of tribe and religion. Tinubu being president doesn't make a Yoruba person gain more than me an Igbo man

It's more about a very backward baseAfrican Mentality.

Despite the rigging and violence that characterised the election in most part of the country it is important that we avoid violence and violent rhetoric.

I never expected it to be easy, didn't even expect we come this far. We still have a long way to go, we need to put another outing for the governorship. If we go with violence, the gains we made may be lost.

Labour party today is the third biggest party in Nigeria officially when we consider the number of reps and senate, we can also put a strong fight in the governorship.

I'm not insinuating that the fraudulent election won't be challenged but please let's not lead the fight. As we have seen, they like calling out the Igbos, and in the case of any violence things can turn around pretty quick.

We can assure the Christians especially the nationalities of Middle Belt and Northern Christians that we are all together, there are also sometimes when you may allow the trouble maker win.

Our progress especially in Lagos is remarkable, with appropriate Allaince, the Obidient movement and labour party have become a big force. This is a political battle and we take it one step at time, we don't have to back down, it is just the beginning of the journey.

Perhaps Tinubu is declared let every Obidient and indeed every Igbo and our allies observe first, that doesn't mean that we are not prepared for any eventuality, but let's not be reactive, lets be calculated.
I concur to this

Throwing tantrum won't do us any good

Sometimes silence, being calm and calculative is the best answer

Sometimes we may not know what God has in store for us in the future
We may not know

They may laugh at us now

They will realize that this life, no matter the power or wealth all is vanity upon vanity

Where are the shagaris, ekwuemes, Awolowos, Azikiwes today? All gone to vanity

The first lesson my brothers should learn is that you don't play politics with emotions. Politics is a war and all the contestant use everything in their disposal to fight it.

The only way for an Igbo man to grab that presidential power is through alignment with other people, but will that happen when we abuse others? No.

If Tinubu becomes president today, El rufai will start nursing the idea of contesting after him because he played a major role in making Tinubu a president.

However, when it comes to my igbo brothers forming alliance with others, our bad mouth will distroy everything.

No body is clean in politics! It is all about personal interest and game of numbers.

I would have loved the outcome of this election if we "the igbos" would have voted en mass for a much popular candidate. At least, when the person wins, we will have hope of getting presidency one day.

We voted against the two major parties which means we may wail for another 4 years undecided
