Keep in mind Mali jas been buikdoand developing while we have been in the wilderness of Rohr and Peseiro.

I think Finidi still needs time.
Lmaooo....what was that starting line up?? That was the beginning of his failure.

If it was him tinkering with new players its forgivable, these are players we already know their strengths and weaknesses, and you're tinkering huh

Coach Randy Waldrum has extended invitations to captain Rasheedat Ajibade, US-based Africa queen Asisat Oshoala and high-riding goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie among a group of 22 players for the two-legged Paris Olympics final qualifying fixture against South Africa next month.

There are recalls for 2019 World Cup star Chidinma Okeke and veteran forward Chiwendu Ihezuo, and a first invitation for U20 defender Shukurat Oladipo.

The Super Falcons are at home for the first leg scheduled for Friday, 5th April at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja before flying to Pretoria for the return at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday, 9th April.

Waldrum has also kept faith with regulars like wing-back Michelle Alozie, midfield lynchpins Christy Ucheibe and Halimatu Ayinde, and forward Gift Monday.

ALL THE INVITED PLAYERS:

Goalkeepers:
1. Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris FC)
2. Tochukwu Oluehi (Shualat Alsharqia FC, Saudi Arabia)
3. Linda Jiwuaku (Bayelsa Queens)

Defenders:
4. Osinachi Ohale (Pachucha Club de Futbol, Mexico)
5.Ashleigh Plumptre (Ittihad Ladies, Saudi Arabia)
6.Shukurat Oladipo (FC Robo Queens)
7. Michelle Alozie (Houston Dash, USA)
8. Nicole Payne (Portland Thorns FC, USA)
9. Chidinma Okeke (Mynavi Sendai Ladies, Japan)

Midfielders:
10. Deborah Abiodun (University of Pittsburgh, USA)
11. Halimatu Ayinde (FC Rosengard, Sweden)
12. Christy Ucheibe (SL Benfica, Portugal)
13. Jennifer Echegini (Juventus Ladies, Italy)
14. Rasheedat Ajibade (Atletico Madrid FC, Spain)
15. Toni Payne (Sevilla FC, Spain)

Forwards:
16. Omorinsola Babajide (UDG Tenerife, Spain)
17. Esther Okoronkwo (Changchun FC, China)
18. Ifeoma Onumonu (SLC Utah, USA)
19. Asisat Oshoala (Bay FC, USA)
20. Uchenna Kanu (Racing Louisville, USA)
21. Gift Monday (UDG Tenerife Egatesa, Spain)
22. Chiwendu Ihezuo (Pachucha Club de Futbol, Mexico)
I thought you people said Randy was going to drop Jiwuaku grin

Good list, Randy now understands his players better, hopefully he puts the best starting eleven from the first game unlike the last time.

Philosopher1979:
Osimhen and awoniyi should not be invited for the friendlies. U don't invite injured players .
Also adebayo adeleye in Israel daniel akpeyi in South Africa (h plays regularly in the South African league) madeuka okoye and a good home based goalkeeper should be invited for the goal keeping position. We can't resort to uzoho when nwabili is injured.
Fisayo dele Bashir and ibrahim olawoyin should play in midfield instead of iwobi.
The person who drew up that list is a clown. I dont understand our coaches.ans is even reporting that napoli does not want osimhen to come.
Let us see what dessert and moffi can do.
We shouldbstop playing friendlies if we can't use it to discover new players.
God almighty give us good coaches who have wisdom amen
I don't think Moffi was invited for the friendlies or was it a late invite huh

How will the Prize money be disbursed when we win?

That money is enough to make all the national teams run efficiently and fluidly for next 2-3years.
World Cup group stage prize money for 2022 is more than the AFCON winner pize money cry

How Iwobi racked up over 70 caps still baffles me.
After all the complaints, there's a reason he still starts games, no one in the team currently offers what he does.

[quote author=Koboko99 post=127432068]I just saw a video of someone asking African Legends their choice of who will win African player of the year award. And Amunike said he wants Salah to win.

He mentioned Salah ahead of a boy he brought to stardom! His countryman! Wonders shall never end!!

Here is a link to the video on X cause Osimhen does not worship the ground he walks on so he's obviously pained. grin

USA 🇺🇸 and Mexico 🇲🇽 submit there joint bid to host the Fifa Women's World Cup in 2027
It looks like the default bid tbh just fresh after hosting an expanded men's tournament, all their infrastructure would be in pristine condition to host an even smaller event but would FIFA want to give both World Cups to the same country.
