You don't need marriage to bleep many women for years. I have seen it countless times and you know its true. Saying the guy probably did wedding just to bleep her is laughable. That would be extremely expensive, wouldn't it? If you're not happy with the statement then blame the society, not me. Have a nice day. sreamsense: So, your own home training did not teach you how to recognize question and give response? Why responding to a message you lack understanding about? If I wanted to abuse you, I would have just responded to your careless talk by generalizing that "you don't need marriage to bleeb a woman for year". My question would have been wheather your own mother and daughter (if you have any) were bleebed for years too like you envisaged ?
You created room to be insulted by degrading women generally, but instead i just asked you to get sense next time by reading to the context and avoid jumping boundary to degrade opposite sex like that. You disrespected value of every woman with that uncultured way of reasoning even when the op did not imply. So, if I tell you to get sense in future post, but you term an abuse; will you consider getting more ignorance instead then? |

What makes you think she did not lie about her genotype and he only found out after the traditional wedding? There's not enough info to draw conclusions beside you don't need marriage to Bleep a woman for years sreamsense: Which kind irresponsible man is this? This is the step he supposed to take before wedding, but allowed love to cover his eyes. After he had slept with the lady for month to increase her body count, he now realized they are not compatible.
Even God is not happy with things like this, it is an act of deception on the part of man than the woman. Once married, it should be his cross to carry. After sexually abused her, he is now looking for another man to carry his left over. What a wicked man? Only God knows the mind of a man, there may be other things the man doesn't want about her again, but hiding behind genotype to cover face and does right thing at wrong time.
Man has better chances of getting another woman faster (because people don't look at man body count like that of a woman) than a woman getting man. For better for worse, now the man sees small worse, he ran. So far you failed to do the needful before marriage, it should be his cross to carry |

If there’s subsidy removal and with the devaluation of the naira by about 300%, common sense dictates that there should be more naira going to the three tiers of gov’t! Is this the case? |
Politics › Re: Damgote's Refinery Will Be A Net Negative by DMerciful(m): 2:26pm On Aug 14, 2024 |
Dangote may have made a mistake with that refinery. Hope he doesn't go bankrupt MossadAgent: Let me explain...
The refinery cost about $15bn to construct and most of that funding came from international institutional investors.
What ever Dangote refinery will generate must go back to repaying his investors and lenders. So more capital flight.
Dangote was thinking more of exporting refined products to neighbouring African countries and expected the FG to grant him subsidised crude at the detriment of national FX inflows.
You will recall that at one time Dangote cement was selling cheaper in other African countries. This was because Dangote is more interested in FX than the naira.
The same scenario is what he hopes to achieve with his 600k bpd refinery . That is, priotising exports to meet his investors and lenders.
Don't even think for one second that Dangote refinery will crash the price of refined products. Rather , if it comes up stream, Dangote will priotize exports to local markets just as he did with his cement . Because Dangote needs to pay back his investors and lenders. |
Politics › Re: Calabar Was Former Capital Territory, Why Is it Not Developed As Lagos? by DMerciful(m): 2:18pm On Aug 14, 2024 |
Capital was never moved from Calabar to Lagos because Calabar was never capital of Nigeria. If you merge Togo, Benin Republic and Ghana together as one country and the new capital is Accra, will you say you moved the capital of the new country from Lome to Accra? LifestyleTonite: Do you think the white man was stupid when he moved the capital from Calabar to Lagos? He knew what he was doing.
Lagos had always been blessed right from the day God created the earth. It was blessed in that it was situated on the coast with access to the Atlantic Ocean. All of that made it a thriving city even before the white man came.
The Yoruba people figured the land out on time and laid claim to it. The white man came and saw what they saw, then decided to move his capital to the land. Shebi Calabar also has access to the Atlantic Ocean. Yet the white man dumped Calabar for Lagos. That's the same way your people dump your region for Lagos. It's all because of what the land offers.
Take away Yoruba people and the white man from Lagos and the land will still be prosperous because God blessed it to be so. Luckily, the Yoruba people had foresight and so they claimed it and made it theirs. There's nothing anybody can do about it. Calling it a no man's land for a million times a day won't make it so. Wake up and smell the coffee.
All the kings, Baales, chiefs, culture, towns, tradition, rulers, leaders of the state are Yoruba. If I were your people, I will wake up from my slumber and stop being covetous. It's impossible to steal a land in this day and age of information technology.
As for Lagos being developed by the FG, I won't disregard the fact that the FG played a huge role in what Lagos is today. However, you need to ask yourself what area of Lagos was controlled by the FG in the days of Lagos being the capital.
The FG controlled Lagos Island and VI as FCT. The other parts of Lagos was under the Western region controlled by Awolowo who developed it. The sage developed it with industrial estates, companies, free education, etc. To wake up now and claim that what we know as Lagos today was the FCT is a lie you really need to stop telling yourself.
Lagos is Yorubaland and is in their SW region. The SW doesn't care if Calabar is finer than New York, because we move st our own pace.
I'll advise your people to channel the energy used in dreaming about stealing Lagos towards developing a Lagos in their region. You people need to stop being on this wild goose chase. It makes you all look foolish and ridiculous before other tribes.
I know my words won't sink in because you people are hopelessly covetous. But note that you will never wake up one morning and see that Lagos has become a no man's land. |

Liar! Calabar was never former capital of Nigeria! Biodun556: Every time, the bad thinking people will like to attribute Lagos success to one thing or the other to seve as excuse for their own failure and unwillingness to thrive.
They will say federal government deliberately diverts all ships to Lagos abandoning the ports in their region.
Or
That Lagos was former capital territory that's why it is thriving
Now
Kaduna houses most federal government institutions, why is kaduna not as developed as Lagos.
Calabar was former capital of Nigeria under colonial rule, why is it not as developed as Lagos?
Ogun state is second to Lagos when it comes to IGR and number 1 state with most manufacturing companies, yet it was not a former capital territory.
Secret of Lagos success
The secret to Lagos success are:
1. The geographical location of Lagos and the water. Even when Oodua was blind, Ifa oracle direct his children to get sea water to wash his face. One of his son, came to Lagos to fetch the sea water. And the son was then nicknamed Obokun (the on one who brought sea water) and there after became king in Ilesha, osun state. Till today, people of Ilesha are called omo obokun.
Economically, lagos sea is very deep, it can carry any kind of vessel. This is the reason why importers and exporters prefer Lagos ports.
2. The visionary leadership of Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Eg his free education placed south west above other regions
Ikeja industrial estate was Awolowo initiative
3. Accomodations: Lagos indigenes like their Yoruba brothers welcomes none indigene without any discrimination so far they are able to maintain peace and grow the economy of the community.
4. Good governors right from time: Lagos has been blessed with visionary military and civilian governors. People of Lagos will always remember Bubba Marwa, lateef Jakande, Tinubu and his successors.
5. Peace: importers and exporters prefer Lagos ports because there is no case of vandalism, sea pirates, militancy on Lagos waters |

Why are some people so dumb? There is absolutely no subsidy removal DavidUkah01: Fuel subsidy removal made funds available for FG, states to function effectively– Sen. Eze
By Ukah Dave
The Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial district ,Senator Kenneth Eze, has defended the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government (FG) noting that it has made funds available for the FG and states to function effectively.
Eze, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Information made stated this at his home town, Ohaigbo Amagu in Ezza South Local Government Area (LGA) of the state during his one year constituency briefing and presentation of agricultural and empowerment items to his constituents.
The Senator said, though the effects of the subsidy might be hard, its overall benefits would soon be acknowledged by the citizens of the country.
"The removal was an unavoidable measure to prevent the government from running out of resources.
“States in particular could not had seen funds to run its operations if the subsidy was not removed. I join other leaders in the country to urge the citizens to be patient".
He explained that the economic problems Nigeria is facing currently did not begin with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but had built up for several years.
“Nigerians should know that the leaders feel their pains but with time, the policies of the present administration would manifest fully and things would be better.
"It takes a courageous and responsive government to take endearing economic policies which would not only correct the mistakes of the past but would secure the citizens's future".
Eze during the briefing, distributed over 1000 bags of fertilizer to farmers across the four LGAs which make up his constituency, assuring them of continued provision of democratic dividends.
He explained that the recent nationwide protest affected the transportation of the fertilizer from the depot in the North ahead of the event, but assured that as more of the fertilizers arrive the State, more farmers would benefit.
He noted that 220 bags of fertilizer was allocated to Ezza North, LGA, 220 to Ezza South, 400 to Ikwo, and 320 to Ishielu LGAs.
"I have made a financial allocation of N10 million to ease the transportation of the fertilizer to your various wards."
Senator Eze further said: "I have played pivotal roles in the passage of five significant bills in the National Assembly, co-sponsored several other important bills and stopped the passage of bills detrimental to my constituents' interest.
"I have facilitated the employment of over fifty Ebonyi people in the federal civil service as part of ongoing efforts to combat unemployment in the state,".
He thanked the State Governor, Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru, for fostering unity and adhering to the people’s charter of needs manifesto, noting that the governor would always have his support and that of his constituents.
"We wouldn’t have gotten our share of his magnanimity if not for the unity he entrenched in the state, as he created an enabling environment that allows leaders serve their people effectively,"
The Chairman of the Association of Local Government Of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, Chief Moses Ogbdo- Ali Nome commended the senator for his magnanimity towards his constituents, noting that such was the hallmark of effective representation.
"The people are yearning for good governance from their leaders and would always appreciate those who enhance their wellbeing especially in these hard times,".
Mrs Jane Igboke, a Beneficiary at the event, thanked the senator and pledged to judiciously utilise the item in her farming endeavour.
Other Stakeholders who spoke at the event including a business Mogul,Arc. Christian Asaga, Deputy Principal Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, Hon Ereke, former Commissioner for Local Government, Hon Celestine Nwali, Commissioner for Rural Development in Ebonyi State, Barrister Ikeuwa Omebe, Commissioner for Environment in the State, Hon Victor Chukwu, Council Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Barrister Sunday Nwankwo, Council Chairman of Ishielu LGA, Dr Obinna Onwe, among others, commended Senator Eze for offering effective representation to the people of the zone and assured of their support.
