Out of over 50 million people, you're calling 3 persons to define them and expect 50 million people to take responsibility for their actions.
You well so?
richie240: Are igbós no longer biafrans? Are you no longer igbo/biafrans?
Who makes up ipóbs? Fulanis and Yorubas shey? Your king who threatened to invite ipóbs- a terrorist organization- to save Ndigbos in lagos, I think he's hausa, shey??
As una don make pact with amadioha not to get sense, na one-by-one hand go dey touch una. If the 'king of all igbós worldwide' can be captured like a monkey, caged and 'repatriated' from Kenya and d 'zoo' refused to fall, and ur 'king in lagos who is also 'NOT' Ipób but threatened to bring ipóbs to lagos was also captured like mice and Chinasa who is also 'not' ipób but carried out ipóbs directive is also eating watery binz in prison.
Who are those cheering on ipóbs/esn/ugm in alaigbo? Igalas and kanuris shey?
Ipob leaders calling for destruction of assets is same as Igbos calling for destruction of LIVES and properties.
Be guided.
richie240: Nwokem, show me where Seyi law personally destroyed/incited ppl to destroy properties in ala-yoruba like these biafrans (below) did. JUST ONE!
At least it's on record that kanu and his (then) 2nd-in-command -uche mefor - PUBLICLY called on igbós to destroy the lives and properties of yorubas IN YORUBALAND
Those company that left Nigeria, it was because things that have been favouring them in the past are no longer favouring them now due to the new government policies
Had Dangote being a foreign investor, he would have also moved. We didn't hear peem when it was favouring him
No time for iregbe, those tax evasion would no longer be tolerated

You're writing unnecessary epistle to convince yourself that you're not biased.
Simple question, did the fg pay for 20% or 7.5%? Leave cho cho cho.
professorPABX: Which prejudice? I have heard it before it was public. What he said was an afterthought.
I have been the most consistent supporter of Dangote Refinery since 2017 while posting as babaolofin. Before then, I have fought and defended Dangote Cement against IBETO during Jonathan bad governance. On the Okpella case between BUA and Dangote, I was on the side of Dangote. Right from the time of Kemi Adeosun as Finance Minister Dangote has enjoyed support from Federal Government on the establishment of this refinery with the hope that it would lessen the burden on Nigeria. He has enjoyed incentives and windfalls from Federal Government under Emefiele and Buhari. We know this thing. Dangote cannot come out to say he has not gotten any incentive from Federal Government. That is an insult to our intellect.
Kyari is the GMD of NNPC when the 20% deal was sealed under Buhari. Who represented FG and who represented Dangote Refinery? Was it just gentleman Rankadede agreement? What are the terms? What about the legal documents as at that time? Emefiele should speak because we all know when NNPC acquired the 20% share .
As it is, NNPC should just forget about Portharcourt Refinery or Warri or Kaduna, they will never be allowed to work except they are sold. They will frustrate them, they can even burn them. No NNPC refinery will be made to work except Dangote Refinery is accepted by NNPC.
You've prejudice, thats why you've not taken time to read why Dangote said we now have 7.5%. We were supposed to purchase the remaining stake with crude that the NNPC refused to supply Dangote.
Tinubu is actually responsible for this stake reduction
professorPABX: You said Nigerians erroneously think it is 20%?
Nigeria has been shortchanged and there is nothing anybody can do.
It is good that Tinubu is the President and we have Cardoso as CBN Governor and Wale Edun as Finance Minister. So many hidden things that have not allowed concrete decision to be taken by South West elites will now be made open. When special investigator was appointed to probe CBN operations under Emefiele, I know so many things would be revealed.
The way Kogi State Government shares in Obajana Factory diminished to zero is the same way NNPC's share of 20% diminished to less than 10% and may eventually reduced to 2% or nothing. It is very easy when Dangote is dealing with full time politicians but it may be difficult to accept when dealing with politicians that understand business and economy.
All the incentives given to Dangote by FG with loans to be paid by Nigeria is now zero. Thank God, naira is now floated. My last write-up on Dangote Refinery few weeks ago, I said I am confused and I don't know what is happening again. I said I became confused when he said he has almost settled all the loans taken to build the refinery when the refinery is yet to fully takeoff. I said I suspect Nigeria has been shortchanged. Something went wrong somewhere. I said for Dangote to have visited Tinubu with his mother and the eldest Dantata an old man last year, it means something.
Despite all the sacrifices and hope Nigeria has placed on this refinery, at the end, the owner said Nigeria has no stake in it. He is the one in charge, he determines how much has been committed to the project to determine the percentage of NNPC shares. All dollars incentives and windfalls from CBN are nothing now at this stage. At the end, NNPC share may become 2% as Tinubu, Cardoso and Edun can never play ball as it was under Buhari.
Chinkoalhaji34: Na wah! Peter Obi should look in the mirror before pointing fingers. His tenure in Anambra was marred by negligence, and now he wants to play the blame game? Talk about hypocrisy! Prosperity didn't just vanish; it was poorly managed under his watch too.
How is Dangote saying NNPCL has 7.5% stake an attack when Nigerians erroneously think its 20%? You don't expect him to set the record straight?
Kenochi: I have taken my time to go through all this back and forth on this issue. The truth is that both sides cannot be absolved of blame Dangote started by insinuating that NNPC has only 7% out of the 20% earlier agreed,NNPCL through the NMDPRA fired back that the refinery is incomplete and the products are substandard. They also said he wants to run a monopoly Dangote fired back by saying that his products are standard and the NNPCL can buy him out so that he will not be in the way of being a monopoly This is a classic game of thrones, who blinks next because I know Dangote is fighting a lot of demons, mafias and principalities holding Nigeria back
So you're taking strategic decisions based on emotions?
When there are other players and you force them out to favor Dangote, people will complain but when there are no players because the 4 national refineries are in comatose, you encourage anyone that has shown capacity.
Wisdom is profitable to direct
helinues: Try and be consistent with your arguments.
When you guys were complaining about Dangote's monopoly, did you see us shooking mouth?
Obi will align with Atiku and even if its VP i don't mind because of state capture.
The need to rescue Nigeria is bigger than Obi's political career alone
Esama: Peter obi shouldn't form or join any political party or allow himself to be use against his party also he shouldn't take Deputy president position from Atiku.
The kind of votes that is waiting for you peter obi is called solidarity votes...Whether you will perform or going in the same direction of those rogues that has privilege to occupied the position before you.
Of course you peter obi you will not perform and nothing will change as far as this system of government we are operating is concerned.
But we need another person there this Tinubu administration has really disrespect we Nigeria too much.
EcoNews: Ihbo clown mouth piece of traditional ruler in Lagos can we have the clips where the rulers were shocker or this is your spreading you foolishness on Nairaland projecting the hate n foolish you inherited from the womb.
Who are those that lied that they gave him land ? If your head is not full of foolish bigotry n stupidity you will believe any land even as small as a plot can be given free in Lagos ? Even Tinubu can not take a single land free, he will have to pay some money no matter how small. So how will Dangote be given free land.
He said the govt should buy from him. If he doesn't have the capacity, why will he say that?
You're supporting a govt that has been trying to repair 4 refineries for ages to no avail.
You're discouraging investment in Nigeria by hounding Dangote
critique99: Alhaji Aliko Dangote is a good businessman, who took the challenge of building the much needed Refinery to support local fuel production, no doubt. He is a good thinker for sure. But he fumbled. He fumbled big time.
Recently, Dangote approached the Federal Govt, to stop "fuel importation" and direct all marketers to him. That is a big risk NO sensible government would take. A very big risk. And Dangote was wrong to even contemplate that idea, when his refinery was at pre-commissioning stage and at 50% completion.
He thinks he is dealing with Buhari who is very useless and biased. Buhari rushed to commission that refinery when it wasn't fully ready.
Though Dangote got much support from the FG and the CBN, he must realize that Fuel is not Cement. And like the FG said, energy security is paramount. Fuel affects everything in Nigeria.
The FG would NOT stop fuel imports just because of One extra-large refinery. Dangote can not use a BAN to force all marketers to buy from him. He needs to compete. He needs to refine crude oil and sell at cheaper prices, then marketers would come to him.
Dangote, sell at cheaper prices and marketers would come. That is how businesses compete. Not to seek government ban, and destroy other companies like he did with Cement. Today, a bag of cement is N7000. It was N3000 just few years ago.
Fuel is NOT cement. 250 million livelihood and 3 million businesses run on fuel. Dangote would not get the ban he seeks. That is how he thrives. He thrives on government fiat. Let him compete with with other importers. If his prices are cheaper and his fuel is higher quality, he can sweep the market. The FG is right. Dangote, stop looking for a BAN on fuel imports. Compete. Offer cheaper fuel and win the market.
Your country is going down and you're slavishly supporting Tinubu
Zxcvbnmghtr: 'Why does Nigeria like frustrating IGBOS?! You can imagine. I just don't know why. Every time IGBOS are trying to build this country, they are always being frustrated. Look at how they are frustrating this Igbo man'.
Unless Dangote chooses to be as brave as Tinubu, he won't be SUCCESSFUL with his refinery. What kind of frustration did Tinubu not face before becoming President?! This one think say e go easy? Abi no be American be the 20 year old boy wey use bullet tear Donald Trump right ear for America?! Small challenge he don dey throw towel, dey surrender. YOU BETTER GO CHOP LIVER LIKE ASIWAJU.
As if this is not the same Dangote that they have always accused of enjoying 100% support from the government to suppress other businesses from growing, while building a monopoly empire?
You're commenting without appreciating the contest that my comment was made.
What is the Op's issue on this, his wife wanted her pastor to do the baby dedication while he wants his pastor. Your uncle might not see this as a problem for 29yrs because he might not care which pastor does it. Insofar the Op care, then better for them to be in same church
VTJN: your wife followed you to your church doesn't make you superior or better than others. My uncle and wife worship in different churches and their marriage is 29 last month. Stop imposing your own way on others. The world doesn't revolve around you
Instead of you to stand by your country as patriotic citizens, you're standing by a corrupt govt.
In your warp mind, the country is same thing as the govt
TimeManager: They now carry Dangote matter on their head. People who always malign Dangote and called his refinery a scam. The emergency lovers of Nigeria.
