PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Economic Team Worst Since 1999 — Coalition Of Northern Groups by DMerciful(m): 10:20pm On Jul 19, 2024
Datti is Fulani
Remman:
Na Hausa people i pity most because apart from Datti the was the VP candidate of the LP in the 2023 general elections and a very very few others, the vast majority (including Sultan, Emirs) of their politicians (at 99.99% ratio) are Fulanis. So it would have been best to tag it northern fulanis.

We all know that Tinubu has failed beyond Buhari's failure. In some country, the economy would be under a state of emergency such that government would provide farm lands either as short or long term loans to real estate agents for farming purposes and flood the country with excess food. But the man and all the governors just don't care, they believe in structures that they will be remembered for like Absolum than the lives of Nigerians at risk. However, LGA autonomy would play a bigger role but it won't be felt now. Insecurity can reduce as LGA chairmen can form LGA vigilantees and keep them on low pay to secure their areas.

After his 8 years being a northerner that will make $1 = N1. That’s you guys cup of tea.

The era of someone sitting done in his room, getting $ for 450 and selling for 750 while making 300 profit without any meaning productivity is gone.

Tinubu is an illegitimate president!

He is by far the worst illegitimate president Nigeria ever had!

Why will he resign? His election is far more credible than Tinubu that did not win and still performing woefully. Tinubu should be the one to resign

But Tinubu is impoverishing you
Max24:
All your past predictions about Tinubu failed. You Obidients told us Tinubu will not make it through APC primaries, then through the elections, then he won't be sworn in , then so many others including this one you are carrying about Dangote. Many of your seniors in the same trade have been run down by Tinubu. Where is Successmatters today? Again my advice to you as a brother is that you should not continue to labour in vain.

Because you're focusing on Obi all the time, you've refused to read the handwritings on the wall regarding the Dangote refinery.

I don't know ooo. Tell me something. So, Tinubu is fighting everybody now. Does that not mean that Tinubu will lose the next election and Obi will be installed in 2027 ? If so, may your delusions continue... may you labour in vain again in 2027....

Everything is about tribalism and victim mentality to you. If not Obi then no one else. That's the motive of all your anti-Tinubu comments.

The states and local governments also raise IGR that may in total surpass the 53% federation account that is owned by the FGN.

Is the judiciary in your own state less corrupt than the federal judiciary?

Are the laws made by your state and local government lawmakers not retrogressive, assuming you are not totally and completely clueless about these laws?

Where does the bulk of the power reside? Where does the bulk of the resources reside? The INEC that conducts fraudulent elections that allows criminals to become governor in my state is not a fg agency whose chairman is appointed by the president?

The corrupt judiciary that ensures criminal politicians go scot free is not an arm of the fg?

The national assembly that makes retrogressive laws is not an arm of the fg?

The security guys are calling for the protest covertly. They're also tired
mohims:
Even if they kill any protester, nothing will happen. The heavens will not fall. Make no mistake about that. I shall remind you about this. So many people will die wrongly and nothing will happen. This protest will not be peaceful because some criminal elements will end up hijacking it. There's going to be so many casualties. Trust our security men on stuffs like this. They know how to use force. Nigeria no be Kenya. I have been witnessing protest since the era of IBB. This one is dead on arrival. We are divided between so many lines.

There will be a nationwide protest from July 29th to Aug 10th.

Do not sleep on a bicycle
MrEverest:
We warned, coerced, and yelled that Tinubu is a criminal and would be a disaster, but it fell on deaf ears.

We are not disappointed in Tinubu because we never appointed him in the first place. Igbos are the least affected by Tinubu’s maladministration and I will explain to you in lay terms;

1. The more worthless naira becomes, the more our products from Aba, Nnewi and Onitsha becomes cheaper for markets in West and Central Africa.

2. The more worthless naira becomes, the more our brothers all over SSA and beyond are able to send more remittances to our region thus boosting the local economy.

3. Igbos are now investing in agriculture aggressively.

4. It’s the North that is suffering terribly under Buhari. Fuel is most expensive there. Tinubu is not even bothered as they continue to slaughter themselves.

5. What exactly is Yorubas or other regions enjoying under this administration that Igbos aren’t?!

It is North that has lost everything under Tinubu. FCT minister was taken from them and handed to Wike. Tinubu literally cleansed them from CBN, Customs, Judiciary etc. aside Wike, Akpabio is senate president. Umahi is minister of works. Now tell me which significant post Northerners are holding?

On top of all that, Tinubu is busy meddling in their traditional politics. He is messing things up in Sokoto sultanate and same time in Kano emirate. He is busy humiliating their top politicians El Rufai to Ndume and the rest.

If any group should fight or protest, it is northerners and not Igbos. They have lost everything under Tinubu. If Tinubu continues at this pace, Northern Nigeria will completely become a wasteland in 8 years time.

PoliticsRe: In Defense Of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by DMerciful(m): 6:06am On Jul 19, 2024
Lunacy
Mankind2024:
In Defense of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working hard to salvage Nigeria's ailing economy. The banking industry, the second most productive sector after oil, has also been affected by the necessary sacrifices. Critics have questioned why the foreign exchange gains made by listed banks in the 2023 financial year should be used to fund a supplementary budget. The answer is straightforward: allowing banks to pay out these gains would exacerbate the exchange rate crisis, causing capital flight and worsening the economy.
This would have devastating consequences, potentially rivaling the Great Depression in the US. The foreign exchange gains would primarily benefit foreign investors who made significant investments in Nigeria's economy during better times but failed to invest in our economy during the current challenges that bedeviled our economy.
Unfortunately, Nigeria's economic woes date back to the tenure of IBB, who allegedly stole $12 billion in 1991. Successive leaders, including Abacha, Abdulsalam and Obasanjo, also looted the country's resources in geometrical magnitude.
The most recent predecessors, including GEJ and Buhari, continued this trend. Buhari's administration securitized untapped crude oil deposits and borrowed N23 trillion through questionable ways and means without backing it.
It is unfair to condemn President Tinubu, who has taken austerity measures to prevent economic collapse. Without his efforts, Nigeria's situation would be comparable to Venezuela and Zimbabwe, with the Naira rendered absolutely worthless.

Let us support President Tinubu, the "fixer" of Nigeria's economy, as he works to get it right. We must reject opposition-induced rallies promoted by the "Obedients," which aim to destroy government infrastructure and overthrow the government through a military coup which they had openly canvassed before the inauguration of PBAT.
We should also reject protests in the South West and Abuja. It is worth asking: where were the Northern elders and the Obi-diots during Buhari's disastrous eight years?

NB: A warning ⚠️ for the Obi-diots, any Obi-diots who stage protests in the South West region would regret their action and inaction.
