The Obidient movement is 4 persons tweeting in a room Obi will not win one state. Obi is like Andrew Liver salt...bla bla bla. Obi won the election but was rigged out by the establishment. You've started version 2 of bla bla bla Zocalite: Ridiculous ticket
Anything short of Atiku & obi as vp is not going to fly
Or Atiku - seyi makinde
Christians that voted for obi the last time will not vote for him and even igbos will not vote fully for him

Dissappearing just after election might be connected to the election. Its possible your candidate lost or you lost in Lagos, maybe house of assembly, house of reps, councillor. BTW, Obi won in Lagos. Must have be hard on you omonnakoda: Is that funny? Why should I suffer trauma ? Was I Obidient? Trauma is the portion of Obidients

It takes one presudent that will do a watertight electoral reforms so that ekected officials can easily be fired. Once this is done, only performers will win elections and reelections. zoghys: In all honesty I pray am wrong about this country, but the level of selfishness, religion intolerance, ethnic bigotry, nepotism, sheer wickedness and corruption among so many vices may make it difficult. Like I said earlier, I pray am wrong. |

Lets see how it goes. We're in it to win again but this time we aint going to court. Everything ends on election day papyjaypaul: I don't know about that. He may get more votes but still not win. All the coalition happening today is actually good news. People don't understand. People are not going to Tinubu because he has power or he is powerful, they are going to Tinubu because that's where power is for now.
I have seen this happen to Obasanjo, Yar Adua, Jonathan and Buhari. Nigerian politicians are like ants. The worst thing you will have is sycophants around you because all they do is lie to please you. Normally, any serious candidate for the election should be ready by now, so I don't expect anyone to emerge in 2026 but you see what they are doing, it's plain stupid because once you gang up against one candidate, the choices are obvious. Expect more attacks. They are not seeing that people are tired of the same and the same. This regime, from 2023 is now so daring that they don't care anymore. From the legislator to executive and I am not ignoring Governors too. Our politicians are sitting on a keg of gunpowder, the money is still deceiving them that they have poverty votes under control.
They will be shocked to think that it will be Nigerians against them. It's good how they are showing where their bellies lie before 2027. Let's separate the wheat from the chaff. |

I do not love El Rufai, hell no! Even Tinubu told Buhari that he was an agent of destabilization in 2003! If you're seen game of thrones, when men and their enemy The wildlings faced existential threat from the Night Walker and his armies, they buried their differences and teamed up to defeat the Night walker. We're teaming up with El Rufai to defeat APC Tareq1105: It's shocking to see you obidients to be unstable bunch of incurable haters.
I never knew that you guys loved El Rufai this much. Same set of people that were insulting him 2 years ago for being a supporter of Tinubu. He's suddenly become your pillar of the house after Tinubu rejected him. |

Ok, lets agree to disagree. Go with your Tinubu and I go with Obi as my first choice and Atiku as my second. Tinubu has be tried and has failed irreversibly omonnakoda: I would rather Tinubu continue than have Atiku or Obi
If the Southern part of the country is serious they can provide an alternative.
Obi is not an option AT ALL . The only purpose of Obi is to salve the sense of UNbelonging and exclusion of the Igbos. I sympathize with that but will not choose a president out of pity
Also when I look at the Objective assessment of Tinubu. He is not as bad as people like you want to paint him. You are motivated by bitterness and hatred
The reality is that The presidential system is part of the problem not the president. Your emotions do not allow you engage with that
So what are the problems
Security poverty
Those are problems that Tinubu could not have fixed in 2 years and no other president could
So If I was to appraise him I want to do so OBJECTIVELY
You appraise him through the objective of OBI won OBI SHOULD BE PRESIDENT So he cannot do anything right
But what was the objective situation of Security and the economy when he took over
You are not interested
All you are interested in is OBI AS PRESIDENT and so from day 1 you wanted Tinubu to fail
Even if he is to lose in 2027 what would you advise him to do for Nigerians between Now and then
That does not matter to You |

Obi will gerlt more support in 2027 than 2023 from the feelers I'm getting. The youths knows that Obi has conquered greed and if there's corruption against him, the establishment would have brought it out be now. I really do not see someone that can take Obi's place in the Obidient movement atleast till 2027 because that would crash the momentum. We can't just start afresh papyjaypaul: Those who abuse him really wished the youth movement that backed him were on their side. If they had the Obidient on their side, they would have been happy too, they are just being jealous. Obi walked into an opportunity of post Endsars sentiment and a youth population who got tired of the same. It could be anyone tomorrow. That anyone is what they are not calculating. Those they have captured are those they can buy. Nothing has changed in Nigeria election where the person with the money bag bags everything. One important phrase Obi had was "we no de give shishi". That phrase had the transformational ability to morph into an anti corruption crusade if he had won because when you read the analysis here, you see that the old ones are used to the system of cheating and corruption, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. It is the fruit of their laborious youth that has made their own kids tired of the country they built and want to japa. They are not done yet, they want to finish it patapata. No principles, no ethos but they will abuse the young people tomorrow when they themselves could not show good examples and lay good foundation for their kids. At least, I give it to the Obidients for always asking questions, that's accountability that the others don't want and they know why. |

And this is why you ought to know that giving up is not an option. Are you gonna pass this Nigeria to future generations? They gonna curse our generation for failing to fight. 70yrs ago, women were unable to vote in America including white women. A new Nigeria is POssible zoghys: People with better mindset than yours lives in Cameroon and biya still rules. I have been around a bit to understand Nigeria is not working. My first election in Nigeria was1993 and I know the numbers of lives that were lost in aftermath of that election. Today babaginda is largely celebrated despites his many atrocities. If you were a teenager that year and understand how messed up this up this country have been since that time till now then you understand that Nigeria has its own biya but in form of different personalities. |

You're not championing Tinubu but demarketing Obi. So i asked, are you championing Atiku? If not, you're definitely championing Tinubu omonnakoda: Obi cannot be president of Nigeria for MANY reasons
His ethnicity is one of those reasons
Peter Obi of the Yes Daddy fame declared a religious war
He has nothing to showcase from his time as governor apart from a brewery and has nothing to offer Nigerians
The purported problem today is Economic stemming from removal of subsidy and floating of Naira What is Obi's solution
I mentioned that fact that the Federal government should be shrunk and power devolved to the states Has Obi articulated a road map in that regard
What will Obi do about electricity in Nigeria?
I am not championing Tinubu but see nothing Obi will do differently
AND YES leading up to 2023 there is plenty of evidence of YOU supporting Obi BECAUSE he is Igbo |
Politics › Re: This Combo Will Defeat Tinubu 2027 by DMerciful(op): 12:22pm On May 11, 2025 |
Obi continues to embodies everything the youth movement stands for. 2023 has taught us that the structures of criminality runs deep from INEC, the Police to the judiciary so we have to do things differently. papyjaypaul: It is misleading to think that Obidients will accept anyone just because it is Obi. People that tackle Obi if he does anyhow. Is it not the same Obidients that disagreed with Obi's endorsement of a candidate in one of the states? It is also misleading to think that the Obidients will only vote for Obi, 24 hrs is a long time in politics. You'll be surprised Obi is a placeholder and you'll find another name.
The youth movement who don't care about any party because they can see they are the same are the voting bloc politicians are ignoring. They think they are 'Obidients', big mistake. |

You know why Paul Biya is still ruling Cameroon even at age 90+ after 40yrs in power? Its people in Cameroon with your mindset who gave up long time ago. zoghys: Abeg rest, politics no be maths oooo. Tinubu whether you hate him or not will return again in 2027. Mind you, not in support of his policies but one thing I have realize in this country is that politics in 9ja defiles plain logic. You will be surprised the mamomoth support Tinubu will get come that year and with less than 15 million votes he will be president again. |

Obi will devolve power if be becomes the president and an objective mind can see it. APC will not restructure Nigeria and thats certain. I invested emotions into the Obidients movement? We will do it on a larger scale 2027. The mobilization of 2027 will be like never before omonnakoda: Peter Obi and Atiku are part of the status quo if not worse
What will they do differently?
Bring back petrol subsidy
Produce yam , rice and cassava on a scale the world has never seen before?
Your motivation for all this crap is your frustrated Obidient syndrome. You invested so much emotion as an Obidient and have failed to come to terms with reality. HE LOST
You fail to acknowledge the inherent problems of our political structure and presidential system
No president will change the status quo
Any system that does not devolve power from Abuja will have limited impact The onus is on the governors NOT the president. What is needed is even smaller federal government .There is no messiah president coming to save Nigerians
Such devolution will NEVER happen with any Fulani in charge
It will not happen with Obi in charge |
