We remember! They played Sarafina movie for us in school, we were moved and we donated our lunch money then. Today, they have grew grown hair in their cavities and they mocked their helper. Being subservient within the cruel apparatus of Apartheid has reconfigured their psyche to always hate bold and domineering people.

It's high time we introduce slowly and painful death that commensurate with how the killer exterminate their victims. Death by hanging is too fast. Maybe options like death by lethal injection or death in a gas chamber should be introduced. |

When will this woman stop lying? I guess she will never stop. Ugly potato day is an annual event in Surrey, B.C, Canada by the Heppell's family in which potatoes and other farm produce with cosmetic deformity are given freely to the people to avoid food wastage. The last one took place sometimes in October this year. While some needy people attended the event, the bulk of the attendees are representative of charities organizations who came for a share of 250,000 pounds of produce to be given away. Meanwhile, the average yearly income of individuals living in Surrey is CAD 48,160 which amount to 53 million naira. |

Despite their numerous mental health and wellness initiatives, people of European descent are still susceptible to mental health issues, mostly expressed through violence, than any other race. As a grad student, I remember when we profiled as going through a lot of mental stress and we were mandated to see a mental health therapist. As the therapist was asking questions that were not by any means related to me, the papa John pizza served aa part of the package became my primary focus of attention. I walked the pizza, flushed it down with juice and then filled 'no and not applicable to all the questions. At the end of the eating, my sameness became even more sane |
She was once dubbed the world's most awake country by the British Press, and it is no exaggeration to say that affective cultural politics fuel multifaceted divisions among her citizens. All of these, nonetheless, do not diminish Canada's status as a hope for many people in a world where a high but imperceptible wall of boundaries gives the global north preference over the global south in terms of migration. Not only has Canada embraced multiculturalism as a State policy, with an immigration system designed to attract the greatest talent from throughout the world, the nation has historically protected slaves fleeing enslavement from their neighbor, America. Canada has shown greater regret and a will to atone for the massacres and crimes committed against the Indigenous people as a settler colonialist nation. Native Americans in Canada have it better than they have in other settler-colonial countries like the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Additionally, the government's equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) programs guarantee historically marginalized groups an equal opportunity to every pedestal of being and becoming in the Country. More than any other country in the world, Nigeria is arguably seen favorably in Canada. As extrapolated from my interaction with Canadians, Nigerians are perceived as hardworking and friendly people. So for a country which has given citizenship to more than 71,000 of our compatriots and setting them on a pedestal to aim for the stars, we want to say happy Canada day to this great country. |
Hello all. I submitted SOWP and SP for my wife and 2 kids yesterday and while they have all gotten their UCIs, BIL is yet to drop. Should I be worried? |
I think the psychology underpinning this is hard to explain. A colleague told that he was bent on being faithful to his extremely beautiful wife. However, after two years of "chopping" his wife alone, he confessed to me that even the sight of mature orange hawker turns him on. |

I worked in a community centre in one of the western countries. The community center mainly provides various services, ranging from hot meal to clothing, to the destitute, homeless and mentally challenged whites. What I have noticed is that white that are mentally challenged often expressed their 'madness' mainly in the most violent ways possible. I have had a lot of experiences which I'm not ready to rehase here but the point here is that while Nigerian madness is mainly expressed through irrationality, that of the white is mainly violent expressions. |

I read a piece of news recently about several Fintech positioning themselves as intermediaries of FX from Nigerians in the diaspora. Yes, that’s exactly what is happening. Let's take Canada for example, 90% of Forex remittance from Nigerians hustling in this country is being controlled by Africhange and Lemfi. And what is the architecture of their solution? Sending money here in Canada is mostly by interac email transfer. In other words, you send money from one account to another using your registered email. Hence, this fintech has app designed to link your registered interac email with their app and once you transfer from this email to their email address, your app is automatically credited with the amount transferred. With the money on your app, you can then remit to Nigeria in naira using the exchange rate arbitrarily arrived at by these fintechs. Such remittance will be settled via third-party fintech like Paga or MFB. My question and basis of argument here is why is it hard for Nigerian banks to tap into this flexible remittance model? Why is it hard for these banks to design diaspora banking that is tailored to the needs of major bases of Nigerian diaspora like UK & Europe, USA, and Canada? Until these initiatives are taken by banks, diaspora remittance will continue to be an exclusive of FINTECHs. |
It's still 6:08pm here. Please what's good about the new year? |
A court can reserve judgment by giving its decision at a later date in writing, after the trial or hearing (as opposed to an ex tempore judgment which is given by the judge orally straight after the hearing or trial). At the end of the hearing the judge will usually state that judgment is being reserved and will then later circulate a draft written judgment to the parties. This practice originated in the Court of Appeal, and it is common there and also in the High Court. Where judgment is to be reserved, the judge may, at the conclusion of the hearing, invite the parties’ legal representatives’ views about the arrangements made for the handing down of the judgment (CPR PD 40E, para 2.1). The draft judgment will be provided to the parties’ legal representatives by 4 pm on the second working day before it is formally handed down, or otherwise as directed by the court (CPR PD 40E, para |
