Scores of students were injured on Friday, as students of St. Charles High School and Ifeoluwa Government Middle School, which were both situated in Osogbo, the Osun State capital engaged in bloody clash.

DAILY POST authoritatively gathered that the students from both schools engaged one another over yet to be known issue.

The students were said to have freely used several dangerous weapons, which abruptly brought academic activities to a halt, as students and staff alike ran for cover.

An eye witness, Mr Sogo Adigun told our reporter that a little disagreement among students of the two schools might have been degenerated by an external influence.

He explained that the sophistication of weapons used by the students and the way the attacks were coordinated suggested that there were” external collaborators”.

“It has become a recurrence decimal for schools around this area to engage themselves in bloody fracas of this nature.

“You know, the government policy on single school uniform, where identification of students by schools have become practically impossible also worsened the situation.

“One can safely say that violent students from other schools within the metropolis involved in this crisis, with the degree of violence exhibited, but how can we prove that when all of them wore the same uniform”, he said.

Another source who spoke with our reporter said four students who sustained high degree of injuries have been taken to a private hospital for urgent attention.

He added that the rift among the students snowballed into full-blown crisis because of the porous security arrangement in the schools.

Long story short.....I have a friend who lives with his 13 yrs old daughter...... Recently a female friend who is a neighbor called me and told me the little girl confided in her that the father is harassing her sexually.

I was shocked but sometimes I stay in there home I used to notice some funny moves but I couldn't place my finger on it cos it all seems to me like Father and daughter love.

I couldn't ask the little girl cos I wanted to have a proof. Recently I came visiting and he started that rough play as usual but because I was already tipped as a result I was at Alert. I quickly told him I was going to the shop.....But I didn't go anywhere I came back immediately and went straight to the window. I saw him bouncing untop of her. The expression on her face broke my heart she is not happy.

I called that female neighbor and told her what I saw.....we told a friend we all questioned the little girl she confirmed it to be true.


Now what do we do? We planned to confront the father is this the best step to take?


I just want him to stop.

I passed an interview for a web development job I applied for and I was asked to sign a letter of non disclosure agreement before
1. I am told what the company is doing
2. They will show me their office
My question is
1. is this normal?
2. If I want to leave after some years is it possible?
They said they want to be sure am in. The salary is 70k in lagos. I don't want a situation after sometime I will start regretting taking up the job.

Because in those days before laptops and personal computers, typists in universities had to do a lot of work and they were very important because you always needed to type all your materials.

When there was work to do, what l discovered was that the chief typist would disappear. He works only till 4 pm. The senior typist would be nowhere to be found. But a gentleman called Adereni the junior typist, who only had his school certificate, was remarkably hardworking. Sometimes I would drop him off at his home at 1am.

Years after I was working as an adviser to the then Attorney-General of the Federation Hon. Bola Ajibola, who later became a judge of the World Court. While in the court at The Hague, in the Netherlands, one day he called me and asked if I could recommend a good secretary who is hard working and could do long judgments. I had three options, chief typist, senior or this junior typist, but the junior typist at a time had only school certificate, he didn’t have any other qualification but l choose him. He got to the Hague, and typically worked hard and diligently.

Every judge in the court wanted him to work with them. He later moved his family over to the Hague and got degrees and made a good living for himself. One day he remembered me and actually sent me a car. [/b]

Brigadier-General Lym Hassan is being arraigned for at the military court - The military personnel allegedly threatened President Buhari - He allegedly spread rumour about President Buhari's death A recording has emerged of Brigadier-general Lym Hassan allegedly threatening to eliminate President Muhammadu Buhari over defence contract has emerged. The Cable reports that Hassan who is the coordinator of peace keeping at the ministry of defence was arraigned before the military court on October 30.

He was charged with two allegations: spreading rumours that Buhari was dead and also demanding $600,000 bribe from a defence contractor. It was reported that Buhari had “approved a $1,464,750 contract on September 26, 2016 for the relocation and refurbishment of Level 2 Ministry Hospital under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated

Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) following a directive from the UN.” Another $1 million dated November 9, 2016 was approved for the same contract raising eyebrows among Nigerians. The contract was awarded to Opems Integrated Concepts Ltd for $1 million in February with expectation of ending in April. However, the contract was not carried out and the ministry of defence issued a directive to serving military officers to go and execute the contract.

The contract involved supply of medical equipment as well as dismantling and re-assembling the hospital at a new camp. Hassan allegedly demanded $600,000 from Opems in spite of the fact that the bulk of the money has been shared. According to The Cable, the contractor secretly recorded Hassan and asked him if he was not afraid of President Buhari’s anti-corruption war. He said: “If the president queries us, we will eliminate him.” The contractor later asked for payment of $500,000 from the ministry in spite of the fact that the contract had stated clearly: “Please note that the contract price is fixed and no request for variation will be entertained.”
A source in the military of defence said: “With the charge sheet now reading that Hassan was spreading rumours that the president was dead, the game has changed. The facts of the matter have been tailored to throw him under the bus. “Hassan has become the scapegoat but the bulk of the contract money was shared across board. He carelessly talked himself into trouble and he will carry the can for all those who participated in the bazaar.

This is very sad. A man died tragically on a farm and was found after several days in decomposed state. According to reports, the deceased with other laborers went to a maize garden for land preparation on Wednesday. He reportedly told his friends that he wanted to fetch mice in the surrounding garden and never reported back.

According to a Facebook user who shared this, the man was found dead by herders on the farm.

Police operatives reportedly visited the scene and the deceased was buried at the same place, since the body was in decomposed state.
