Johnnyessence: and if they touch my documents and send the documents to the various schools I applied to what will you do hmmmm. I already know that after the deadline of application, it takes 4 weeks for them to process it and send their results of processing via email. Pls and read uniassist very well before you comment on admission issue. So far so good I have been reading your reply but what I see is always negative. Before my first documents reach the school I applied I read the instructions of uniassist often and often. I already know that the admission letter will come out around the middle of august or early august based on documents they receive so far. I even mail them often and often and within 24 hours they reply me back. Well I will pay the uniaSsist processing fee and also update the thread often and often. LOL you said the same thing I said but I'm being negative? Okay oh. |

First off, you applied for a Studienkolleg right? I think the process is slightly different from those applying for bachelors/masters. You didn't even submit the paper application before they started processing which hardly every happens. Moreover, yours could be an exception. On average, Uniassit won't touch it till the 5th week. I know more than 10 people who have applied and it's the same thing. Jigba: It's not really true that uniassist won't touch your documents till fifth week From my experience once you've paid and submitted your documents electronically, they will start processing it |

I'll advice you to wait and apply for the summer semester. First of all, applying no be beans. People that take their time to apply still make mistakes. And since you have less than 2 weeks to the dealine, chances are that you'll rush and might forget some things. Secondly, both schools require Uniassist for their pre-check. If your documents get to Uniassist on July 15, they will not touch your document till the 5th week, no matter how much you email them. They will give you a response by the 6ht week and forward your application to the schools you intend to apply to. Those schools take a minimum of 2 weeks to get back to you concerning your application. So, you won't have any admission decision till September, and studies for both schools resume in September. I'm sorry but your chances look dim for Winter 2017. Try Summer 2018. tybian: Hello guys,
goodluck to those awaiting interviews and all. i wish to ask a few questions regarding application to german schools.
1. i studied petroleum engineering i i wish to diversify into mechanical or process engineeering. Is it possible to gain admission into fh-luebeck.de and hs-bremerhaven.de respectively offering these courses?
2. Most of the deadlines states July 15. If i commence my online application now, those it mean when the school session start around September-Novermber, i can still meet up with my applications and visa interviews?
Thanks for your responds guys. |

What do you mean? You don't have the whole amount? If that's the case, you can pay little by little but you won't get confirmation of payment till you finish paying. If it's that you don't have money for blocked account, I don't know how we can help you. Another option would be to get scholarships, or get a sponsor who's a permanent resident in Germany. owobanji: Please I don't have money readily available for this BLOCKED ACCOUNT, please i need help on it |

Not to discourage you but Uniassit won't touch you documents until the 5th week, and they won't be done with it till the 6th week. Give or take you'll hear a response from them middle-end of August. And by that point, they would have only proved whether or not you have the necessary documents to apply. They now have to send the documents to the schools, who now take like 2 weeks or longer to get back to you. So you won't have a concrete answer on your admission till September. You'll only be lucky if your enrollment deadline is far. Johnnyessence: thanks bro. Well by Thursday or friday the documents will have reach uniassist address. Bro what remains now uniassist processing. Pls put me through on how to go about it. Please guide me on it thanks. |

I guess the demand for student visa is really high at the moment. If I were you I would bombard them with calls and emails until they answer me. That is how I roll. Let them say "this man is disturbing us. Let us just give him a date so he can leave us alone." Works for me everytime. dobeespen: Hello everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind here so I would appreciate any help I can get.
My desired school for the winter semester is TUM. I applied but was told I won't be given a date for the Skype Interview until the application deadline has passed (July 15)
My visa date is currently on the 28th of July. I applied for a visa date with my admission letter from Furtwangen University. I then saw a notice on TUM's website that all admission interviews will commence on the 28th of July and international applicants can only get 4th of August and 15th of September for interviews.
This is inconvenient for me because of my visa interview date. So I sent an email and called them, asking if they can give me a Skype interview between 15th and 28th of July so I can take their admission letter to the embassy.
The lady who I spoke to(who was extremely helpful by the way) said there's nothing she can do about that unfortunately, since the earliest date is 28th of July. Apparently, the bachelors program is a strict with dates. If I was applying for a masters program, she would have been able to give me an earlier date. She said she can put me for the morning of July 28th even though this date is only for German applicants, and then I'll head to the embassy for my interview in the afternoon.
But I explained to her that it's not possible because they're very strict with time and if I get there late I would be sent back. Moreover, I can't cancel the date and ask for another one because of the high demand for Student interviews and I won't get another early appointment if I cancel this one. She then said she can put me for the afternoon of 28th, so I would interview with TUM after my visa interview at the embassy. She also said she would write me a letter stating that I would be interviewing with TUM that day that I can take with me to my visa interview.
I really don't want to go with the admission letter of Furtwangen because I have already prepared my interview around TUM. Plus I'm also concerned that the embassy would ask me to show an additional €3000 in my blocked account since Furtwangen now charges tuition, which I don't have right now.
She said I should think about it and get back to her but I'm confused. Do I just go with the letter from furtwangen to the visa interview, knowing all these concerns I have? Or do I cancel and ask for another date? Do I write the embassy after the visa interview to inform them that I want to change my school of choice to TUM before they send my application to the alien authority In Germany? Because after the Skype interview, I would be sent an admission notice within a day but I don't know if it would smell of foul play or something.
Apologies that my writeup is a bit cumbersome but I'm really in a bind right now. Anyone know how I can go about this? |

haybellfire: Its still not too late but i dont know if posting online alone in my portal will be sufficient No. You have to send a certified copy. If you cant get the statement of result from your school, I won't advice going to the embassy to certify because they won't do it for you if they don't see an original. If you're applying through uniasssit and they haven't started processing your applications you better send it as soon as possible. Once they start processing it and you send additional documents, it takes 6weeks for them to process the additional document. |

Remember, ONLY IF YOU ARE 100% SURE OF TUM ADMISSION. I actually am pretty sure of getting into TUM. I needed 88 points to be admitted directly and I had 75 points. So I know I'll do pretty well in the interview. |

donkafor: Enrollment deadline is different from registration deadline/deadline for payment of semester fees. TUM enrollment deadline is November 17th. Both registration fee payment and enrollment are done online for TUM so no need to rush. If you apply for interview with TUM admission, you will still be given late August as embassy uses enrollment deadline and not registration deadline/deadline for payment of semester fees. Ahh okay I see what you mean. So I can enroll from Nigeria provided I've paid my semester fees. Well I don't intend to cancel my current interview date and I certainly don't want an End of August date so I'll stick to what I have. Thanks again. |

But I've seen here people talk about getting visa for a school and move to another school...I can't guarantee this kind of move.
An option could be to request from the embassy if your visa interview could be moved a lil bit further since you anticipate TUM admissions shortly after your admission interview on the 28th as TUM happen to be your top choice...you can state reasons bothering your preference for TUM. Thanks very much for your response. I'll wait for the experts to help me out. I'm very iffy about requesting for a later date because I know the high demand for student visa interviews.
