Pushas: Wow! This is what I suggest you do; 1)Write a well composed email to the international office and explain your situation 2)Find the name of your program coordinator on the website of your department. Call him to plead for a Skype /phone interview. 3)Pray/hope for a direct admission without interview. Thank you so much. I'll do 1 and 2. I'm not so sure about 3 because I currently have 75 points but I need 88 for direct admission. Though I realized they made an error with my GPA and I emailed them to correct it, so I'm waiting to hear from them. So if they change the GPA it might boost my points up for direct admission. Thanks again. Will do that. |

Pushas: How is this possible for international students? This might only be applicable to German students. Anyways, do you have an proof to back your assertion? I don't know as well. I just discovered it this morning when I called them. How am I supposed to come in person when I'm in Nigeria? Well they said there's nothing they can do about it.

Henry85: Hey guys, I just got an invite for MSc Consumer Affairs admission interview at TUM. I would like to know if anyone here got the invite or if anyone here has done the interview before. Cheers! Is it a Skype interview? TUM said they're not doing any phone or Skype interviews this year. All interviews are to be done in person at TUM, so I'm curious. |

hadassaheke: My dear, the embassy actually does accept a print out of one's admission letter. That was what I used for mine. That's because TUM only gives soft copies since you can only download your letter from the portal. Other schools I applied to specifically asked me to use hard copy. I'd rather be safe than sorry. |

I would have risked applying today also, but i await my bank details from fintiba. Best of luck! October 30 isn't bad though. The embassy requests a deadline from late October to November. |

ogagaejay: The embassy don't care about original copy. Go with what you have. I don't know where by post copy is. so for 99percent of the guys from Africa and some part of Asia. Lol Not true all the time. Both of the schools I've gotten admission to specifically asked to take the original letter of admission to the visa interview. |

Arigold007: Thanks I know, I know the amount I need to block, it's non negotiable, 720 euros ×12months and that has been stated on the confirmation but I included that they shouldn't be a maximum restriction on the amount I can withdraw in a month from the initially total 8,729 euros blocked(720euro) meaning I should be able to take out more than the 720. so I wanted to confirm if it's actually so because I saw the option there while creating the account and I chose it. You cannot get the whole money at once. At no point did Fintiba say that. That they said is you can put additional money than the embassy required and take it out in one payment. That's different from getting the payment out at once. It's impossible. |

Arigold007: please house I would like to know if it's possible to have access to the entire fund in the blocked account. I opened an account with fitinba bank and while opening I stated that I didn't want any minimum monthly withdrawal limit on my account, and the declaration they sent me, it stated the amount as 0€. I want to know if it still applies as I might need to send back part of the money earlier after I arrive I'm really trying to feel sorry for you but I just can't. Laziness on your part, or maybe nonchlancy. It's a BLOCKED account dude, meaning the money is blocked for one year. If you weren't so sure what it was, a Google Search would have helped you. Better still, emailing Fintiba before opening the account. I don't know what to tell you. |

But I submitted mine (Both the original and the photocopy) I don't think the primary school certificate is necessary. Someone's who's now in Munich says he didn't submit his. |

Just a copy of the blocked account opening slip or details (depending on the bank you opened with) would suffice. 3. Yes, the primary school certificate and 2 copies thereof, will also be requested from you. I wish you the very best! Wow. I thought the primary school certificate wasnt necessary. Na wa oh |

clinton3g: am 18yrs and my uncle sent an invitation letter to me from Germany, I went to interview, in two days am time, I received my passport, Inside it, was steamed denied, reason because there was no strong tie to show I will return home, wen visa expires, am am not working ,I just finished secondary school? what can I do, answers needed please!! Have you applied for university education in Nigeria? That could give you cause to show you have strong ties home? Maybe you should start school and then apply for a visa that shows you intend to travel during the holidays. I'm not an expert though. |

Asked me to summarize the article, ask some questions from the article, ask what is dumping, what the author of the article thinks about the article.
Asked about my Resume and the 3years gap inbetween, and the syrian guy asked about working as a team.
Also they confirmed the 1500 Euros pers emester no be small tin, coz i made sure i asked them abt that and also their enrolment deadline.
They said i will hear back in 2 weeks time for Admission or not and i should reply back if i will take the admission place or not immediately dey send mi the admission.
