I hardly see any nursing masters program. |

makinzwurld: To @Uchevolata and all the rest,
Hi!
Happy Sunday.
In addition to @Negro1986's post concerning his interview on June 30, here's a quick one for y'all going for your interviews soon. U can download the attached files and study them. Its a transcript of questions asked during my interview that held on the 20th of June 2017, and some possible answers, and also a copy of my motivational letter and some other useful docs that might be of help in preparing for the interview (please don't copy and paste word for word, just simply improvise from them, thanks!) My experience was quite a great one, and I pray its even better for you all.
As for preparations, its important you do the following if you can:
1. Pray and trust God that you've gone to Germany already by faith. Eliminate fear and anxiety in prayers. Resist and cast down thoughts of failure that come. Trust God and have a high level of confidence.
2. Go to the embassy a day before your interview (if you can, to avoid rushing or disorganization on your interview day), say around 11 am when they aren't really attending to anyone again. Soak in the air around the environment there. Don't worry, you won't be harassed by any MOPOL or our friendly Mr Paul (I think that's his name.) You can even introduce yourself to him and tell him your interview is the next day and you just came to make inquiry. He will tell you what you need to know, cos he can actually be that nice. Just familiarize yourself with the environment, especially if you've not been there before. Note that the VISA FEE is #20,500. Have the exact amount with you. You should also get to the car park and ask for the FedEx stall where you will get your prepaid envelope (within 350-3000 naira if you are sending within Lagos depending on the location, and 1000-4000 naira for outside Lagos depending on the state you're sending it to. PH is 3,700 naira with FedEx) The ladies there know how to address the envelope appropriately, just give them your details. Get your passports if you don't have them yet (White background, 35mm x 45mm) there at the embassy car park too. Don't patronize touts please. It could cost you more. I had to re-trim the 2 pictures I used to the required specs after paying #1,200 (I know that's cheap, it could be more, say, #1,500 - #2000 depending on your bargaining power.)
On the day of the interview, please arrive at least 30 mins before the time given to you. It is expected that the time given to you is the time you should be inside and not the time you're just arriving the embassy. Its one reason our dear Mr Paul bounces people. Also, arrange your documents as a set of originals and two photocopies in the same order. Staple one of your passports to your application form and detach one. You may have to leave the signature part of your visa application form unsigned till you're in front of the VO. That was how I did mine, though I don't think you'll be penalized if you've signed it already. Please note that the "verification of applicants data" form in the checklist is not needed at the embassy (I wonder why they left it on the checklist ) You only need the Declaration according to section 54 bla bla bla form. Make sure all your documents (both originals and photocopies) are in order while collating. Endeavor to remove your international passport from its jacket, it won't be needed at the embassy.
Lastly, be as sincere and truthful as you can be during the interview. Don't be too rigid or dogmatic. For example, If you currently work, let them know and attach proof. If you don't know the answer to any question, just be sincere about it that you "can't answer such a question at this time because you aren't sure." Prepare well and read/study/memorize/practice over and over and over again. Remember, its only an interview and not a firing squad. The VOs are nice people when you cooperate with them and do what they ask you to do promptly. The young dark tall lady that interviewed me speaks German as well as Yoruba (She's Nigerian of course) and she was benevolent enough to exercise patience with me while I answered my questions. Just don't go there tense. Its not a firing squad I repeat.
Okay, I'm tired of typing. Let's make do with this for now. If any other thing comes to my mind I'll post it here.
I pray for great unprecedented success all the way for y'all going for your interviews this month and next month.
God's Speed, God's best! Thanks very much for the insight. My interview is this month but I'm not too nervous. I schooled in the US for 4 years and was just about to graduate, but had to move back when forex hit the roof. So I have a general idea of what they're asking for. Still, it was great to read your perspective on the visa interview. Wishing you love and light on your journey to Germany. |

To those who are doing the Skype interview with ESB Business School as part of the admission process, what article were you given?
I was given one on Trump and the steel tariff he plans to impose on American steel imports. I wanna know if we all got the same article.
The article is a bit ambiguous to read, so it would help to look up more news on the article that makes it easier to understand. |

UncleJudax: It depends on the school. Soft copy admit letters are usually valid without stamp and/or signature. If the school usually issues just soft copies then it's valid. i know some schools issue both which is why I suggest going to the embassy with the original copy of the school provides that. The school will even tell you to apply for a visa with the original and not the soft copy. |

Should the admission letter from the the uni in Germany be sent by post or will the one sent via email suffice for the visa application? Can it be printed and taken to the embassy if it's the stamped copy?
Thanks You can apply for a visa interview with the soft copy. However, you need to do with the original copy for the interview. |

phemmisky: Congratulations brother Don't you need to know German up to B2 to be admitted to a German studienkolleg? If you do know German up to that level double kudos to you! Damn didn't know anyone actually learned German up to that level here oh. I just finished my A1 and I was sweating profusely the whole time. Thankfully I don't need it for admission, just wanted to familiarize myself with a bit of German before heading for school. |

honourableseyi: This is not true. You can use NECO and even combine 2 results together. Neither uni-assist nor schools in Germany reject any O'level result from Nigeria. Shalom Apologies. I thought they used the anabin database which specified WAEC and one year of schooling for direct admission. Again, my bad. |

I emailed them they asked me to be patient that they have logs of documents to verify. Still hoping It takes a while so chill. The only time they'll seriously start listening to you is when the application deadline has passed. Av mailed them bk informing them about that bt guys anymore useful tips abi amake i jusf forget the skul am really sure and hopeful my skul will send my transcript soonest vielen danke First off, you should learn to punctuate your sentences. I had to read this over and over again to get it. Secondly, as long as they don't get your transcript of your university education you won't get admitted because they need to see that as evidence that you're prepared for direct study in Germany. |

Tinder: Please oh, this one EBS is now charging 1500 euros per semester, can i use EBS to enter germany then like say after the 1st semester i change to tuition free schools since am yet to hear from other schools i submitted my application 2. You can. But even EBS won't give you are final admission decision till end of July, which is when many schools will be doing so too. My interview date is set for 28 July. My desired school said they won't be doing interviews till the application deadline (July 15th). So I plan to email them after the 15th to ask for an early interview date since I would like to take their admission letter to my visa interview. Also, you can get a visa with ESB's admission letter And still head to the school of your choice. All you have to tell the immigration officers at the point of entry is that you'll be going to the school that is written on your visa. I know a couple of people who did that and it worked for them. |

lumyehiteryur: Hi everyone, Thanks for all the wonderful tips. I am new and i have gone through as many pages of part 1 2 and 3 as possible. I however need clarifications on certian issues as i have just recieved adddmission offers from 2schls in Gemany.
1, I was denied a US visa feb ds year. The agent who helped with the application requested my gfs name and put my status as married with her name as wife. I am still unmarried and i wanna know if i shld put single in my student visa application process for Germany cos i read from this thread there is a way they verify these infos.
2 I want to know if its compulsory i put in the application that i have been denied US visa and the implications of doing and or not doing since my marrital status with US embassy is MARRIED ( note I'm still single)
3, I'm tryin to open a German blocked account. I have recieved the form from a Deutsche Bank and filled. There are however columns that the direction is to be signed at the embassy also to certify docs at the embassy. I want to kno if i have to book an appointment to go for the blocked account submission and how to. Or its any work day since not visa interview? (Second permission frm wrk myt not come by easily)
4, lastly i like to kno which of the Nigerian banks does the transfer to block account relatively faster.
Useful informations abt all ds urgently needed.
Thanks in anticipation. 1. They only ask if you've applied for a visa to Germany before on the visa application. Nonetheless, it might come up in the visa interview. If it does, be as honest as possible and explain to them the reason for the denial. 2. Are you applying for the winter semester? If you are, using Deutsch Bank will take forever. Use Fintiba instead. Its very easy and you get your account in 5 business days. Plus you don't have to worry about going to the embassy to affirm your signature or anything. |

No you can't. You have to add either the documents or open a blocked account to be given a visa date. abbeylian: Hi brethens, please can I book for an appointment with my admission letter with the embassy while still waiting for my Verpflichtungserklärung to arrive? Cos my enrollment date is September 18th and instead of waiting since there has to be six weeks between booking appointment and enrollment. I'm hopeful before the would be appointment date my Verpflichtungserklärung would be available. A prompt response would be appreciated |

UncleJudax: I will advise you use the complete transcript of your first degree. That will stand as your higher education entrance qualification. From what I understand, he started school but dropped out in 2011 after he was done with his 100L. If this is correct, then you can apply with your 100L transcripts along with your WAEC result. |
