kernel504:Characteristic of creation gone wrong. |
stephanie11:The only sensible thing from this chameleon in all his journey in the corridors.of power. Already the FG has st arted doing the needful. https://dailytrust.com.ng/fg-dumps-cattle-colonies-asks-states-to-tackle-herdsmen-attacks-their-own-way-source.html. |
kokomilala:The states have been freed to pursue whatever option each deems appropriate. Enough of this chicken hearted ethnic jingoism. |
Hmmm The way to go in the face of emotion-driven rejection.of the FG proposal. The FG should concentrate its efforts towards fulfillment of its electoral promises . Enough of baby sitting the grossly incompetent governors. |
Time for the governors to answer their fathers name. Enough of this father Xmas . It breeds laziness, corruption, garrulousness and insults. |
Orosirisi Ibori came, advertised his achievements on yearly calendars. Funniest of all, a particular road will be snapped 20 times and claimed to be 20 different roads constructed. Projects actually constructed were so poorly done that they collapsed even before the commissioning team got home, example, the Sapele bridge before AT&P. Boreholes were constructed and commissioned without pumping machines. Tanks were just filled with water on the commissioning day. Uduaghan came, promoted all sets of industrial project e.g Warri industrial park, Delta without oil. Imposed the most retrogressive task system in the country. Claimed of projects was only on Channels Tv. Now it is Okowa"s turn and the cycle continue. This time on social media. Kwontunue. God and the masses are watching. |
jusRadical:Good reply. You are one of a few whose belief is driven by conviction rather than convenience. I fear many doomsday agents will soon flood here to kill the message and the messenger. |
CosmeticChemist:I never really like the car initially, until missus forced it on me as her preferred car. As a regular visitor to autosection it wasn't difficult tracing one in this section, a 2003/2004 put up for sale by elshanAutos. Car was delivered to me in Warri as promised. The car has been very loyal since but of course I treat her lovingly like a lady. ![]() |
Hmmmmmmm Delta state, always creating boju boju schemes. Kwontinue, God is watching. |
deepwater:I beg you guys should free the guy na. As the saying goes na where de pain person na Iim dem de rob aboliki. His major concert like some of us is refining. We got no issues with production. And like someone asked earlier why can't we tie the IOC's to refining of petroleum. |
A governor with the interest of his people as his priority. All your past sins should be overlooked Sir. Other governors just seat in their offices and cry to Abuja like babies. Useless governors. Good for nothing bunch with a set of ill-informed bunch as followers. |
GavelSlam:My brother, this is what has been playing in my mind. If the ethno-religious inclination can be removed the average Igbo businessman would have delved into large scale ranching or even cattle colony because there are so many fallouts |
Delta state should be placed on sale in OLX. I won't mind Aregbesola or Okorocha coming to buy it. All comments so far have been on non/poor performance. Unknowlingly to many the area of most injustice and gross corruption is taxation, pension, contributory heath scheme. Taxation Delta state has the most oppressive tax regime in the country. Exact figures not readily available at the moment but on average a GL 17 officer in Delta state pays as from N120,000 to N180,000 in tax. The highest in the country Contributory health insurance scheme corruption reigns supreme. Something that was fashioned to ease the burden of health on the masses has now turned to an avenue for exploitation. Workers have been deducted for upward of 5months contribution even when they havent been registered for the programme. Comparison among states: Delta - N20,000/month Oyo - N650/ month Cross River- N1000/month Kwara N1500/month Lagos. - N40,000/year Edo - N1500/month FGN - N15000/ year On retiree's pension It is am abysmal picture. Many retirees are now dead without getting their benefits. The state appointed pension fund manager TRUSTFUND posts updates on individual pension fund accounts religiously conferring a false sense of security. Enquiries however showed that the government does not remit its counterpart share nor the deducted workers share into the pension account. So on retirement ,account balance is zero. Many retirees I know live a life of penury, some resorting yo begging to survive. Delta state is on borrowed time. |
@OP, if we go by your logic poultry and piggery wouldn't have been. So also grasscutter, snail or bees farming wouldn't have been. In fact, if development iwere governed by only your logic we would have still been trekking from Enugu,cSokoto, Maiduguri to Lagos., |
GoroTango:Additionally, who wants to pay for crude oil when you can drill a hole into crude pipelines many of which run on the surface and siphon as much crude as you can . |
demonstrate:Etc etc. |
ArodeTsolaye:Are you sure you don't need psychiatric evaluation? |
demonstrate:We are still on the same page. Insulting as first defence to hide inadequacies. I don't allow myself get entangled with tribal or eligious cobwebs I will let you pass. |
demonstrate:This is how you know somebody who got educated under the Head Bridge Onitsha or Old Park , Enugu. Very uncouth in written or spoken language (be it Igbo or English). Feels so insecure that throwing insults becomes their second nature. Terrible. |
Source: Dr. Austin Monye (UNIBEN) See source, Austin Moye of the ?Security Dept UBTH. UBTH have suffered. And the source has no source. OK OP kwatinue. |
Jonathan self, always in the wrong place at the right time or in the right place at the wrong time. What a problem child he must have been. |
SalamRushdie:Should Buhari be sent out, then the killings will stop automatically or you think those behind these killings on both sides will not continue to perpetuate the violence thereafter. I think the governors have a lot to contribute to stop the violence as already displayed by Fayose. Why can't the governors rise up to the occasion like Fayose did. That is one act I always praise him.for. In Ghana I found out from search that the district and regional govts were mostly the tier of govts involved in curtailing the herdsmen menace. https://nairametrics.com/how-ghana-deals-with-its-fulani-herdsmen-problem/ http://citifmonline.com/2016/02/03/fulani-herdsmen-will-be-banished-minister-assures/ The citizens and NGOs are all encouraged to join hands in tackling the problems in one form or the other https://www.ghanagrio.com/news/391192-consider-selling-farm-leftovers-to-fulani-herdsmen-to-restore-peace.html#zi05wyE6VU3XD7Eu.99 https://www.ghanabusinessnews.com/2012/05/22/ghana-afdb-to-construct-cattle-fodder-bank/ The Ghanaian FG acquired 30,000 hectares of land to settle the herdsmen without such stiff opposition we have here in Nigeria. Gov’t acquires land to resettle Afram plains herdsmen ...* http://www.myjoyonline.com/business/2016/november-1st/govt-acquires-land-to-resettle-afram-plains-herdsmen-mahama-reveals.php Why can't such simple solutions be embraced in Nigeria It is unfortunate many find pleasure in these orgy of violence. |
zombieTRACKER:Bad bellerism is not good for your health. It will give you incurable ulcer, staph aurio of the mind and igonococcus of the brain. |
naijapips04:Jealousy. I guess when her resume was posted here on NL, I guest you went AWOL or as usual hatred blurred your vision. |
Very formidable woman. Brain and beauty. Atiku thought she was one of those Nollywood slay queens he could ride on easily and exploit to defraud the country. |
SalamRushdie:On the few occasion you attempt to be reasonable, you find it difficult to sustained the tempo till the end. No show from Buhari but you are seeing his action. Is that not a good starting point |
deji17:Thank you for the comic. summary. I remembered reading the full article earlier today. I think Senator Sani is plagued by reading without comprehension syndrome. Unsirprinsingly , the usual pilgrimage. by certain lost souls wasn't lacking. |
SalamRushdie:Nigerians are quick to spread news from foreign sources than theirs Not for all Nigerians but for gullible ones like you and your ilks that crave for bad news/second to justify your fossilized negative views about this country/president. |
