PoliticsRe: Are Nigerian Youths Actually Lazy? by doctuw(m): 1:58pm On Apr 19, 2018
rusher14:
Some of us know you simply choose to be mischievious.

Did he say ALL youth of Nigeria are lazy?

Besides semantics, I put it to you, the Nigerian youth do not display enough creativity.

How much research, patents, world class artistic work would you find in our institutions?
Let me guess..that's government's fault.

Ok let's go to the number of our young people who have access to the internet. How many are involved in programming, animation, international research syndicates?

Let me guess...that's the government's fault.

Here on Nairaland, start a topic with a misleading headline and wait to find how many would spot the disconnect between the headline and the body of the message.

Let me guess... it's the government's fault.

The youth of Nigeria are lacking in creativity and please don't give me Nollywood and Afro music. It can take only a few entrants.

We need people who want to create and constantly think of solutions.

We need people who channel their energy positively and not in cult activities, Yahoo or drug use.

Talking about drugs, this poor nation is experiencing a new wave of drug abuse...tramadol, codeine, skunk etc.
That's what the nation is about.

Many Nigerians are of the misconception that the country is rich but the reality is that we aren't.

Yes we have the potential to be wealthy, but we are a poor nation in every way, shape or form.

It is your choice to accept the criticism.

You can go renegade and discount it.
It is your life, your future. Play it as you wish.
God bless you sir

How do you mean sir? Kindly explain.
Be honest with yourself; you called something a social investment scheme and almost a year applying to what we term a social investment, nothing has happened. Does that not look like a joke to you? Don't you know we are poor people for applying in the first place. Tell your oga to fund this programme. It will help a lot of people.

@npowerng. Tell those that sent you that we are not happy about this. It's belated. It is not a social welfare scheme. You have disappointed the Nigerian youths.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Update For 2017 Pre-selected Applicant That Were Absent During The PV In Dec. by doctuw(m): 10:39am On Mar 12, 2018
What a very good delay tactics. See what you could come up with after 3 months that physical verification has been done. You call this a social investment? Continue to play with the lives of the youths. Posterity will surely ask you.

2 months after physical verification, it sounds unpleasant to hear that the 2nd batch hasn't been deployed. Stop the excuses that you are still collating results from different states. Let's know our stand.

I gave up on the world when a lady tried selling powdered egg to us at surulere, someone gave her pot and stove she added water to the powder added a pinch of salt and pepper fried it, it looked like eggs, smelt like eggs, in fact u can't believe it's not real eggs, just 1 sachet can feed two adults, she ran away when the boys there wanted to beat her for selling it. For more than a week I kept trying to understand how eggs could be made to powder form
there is powdered egg. Powdered milk exist now. It's the same process getting both to powdered form. Powdered egg is a form of preserving eggs.

Christianity EtcRe: The Catholic Faith: What You Need To Know by doctuw(m): 7:31pm On May 23, 2017
Splinz:
I don't know any of these churches. So, I don't speak for them.

Now, all these talks of “what about this... what about that person” is stale already. Are these people your own standard? While there's absolutely nothing wrong in having a friend's picture in either your house, car, office, etc, the moment that image becomes an abomination is when you put it before you, kneel/bow and pray to it. That is outright idolatry! So, in which of these churches you've mentioned is the worship/veneration of images sanctioned, as it is done in your Catholic church?

Tell me, that I may also call them out for their idolatry.

PS: Philippians 4:6 states: “...but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”, not unto “Mary” or the “saints.” You don't need an intercessor to get your prayers to God, pray to Him in the name of Jesus as the mediator and you'll be heard! Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Deborah and other faithful servants of God never ask any saint or angel for intercession, but all made their requests and supplications directly to God, who is the hearer of prayers! (Psalm 65:2).
are you saying God does not answer the prayers of Catholics irrespective of how and where they pray? God answers the prayer of everybody no matter how you pray to him. Not even your religion matters. God will answer your prayer. God is that good person in your heart. The question about religious discussions should focus on if you believe in the afterlife or not. It shouldn't be superiority or inferiority.
