ARCHEMEDESME: Hello .I am a young innovator, also still a teenager.Due to the lack of microscopes in schools in Nigeria i came up with an idea to solve the problem.i came up with a microscope that projects the images on slides unto walls when attached to a smart phone and can also be operated with a LED.it will be easy to dispatch and not more expensive than 500 naira per unit.my question is ; will Nigerian schools like to procure my device. Your urgent feedback is needed I *if you didn't steal the idea from youtube *if it has up to oil immersion magnification * if an 24mp camera woul d do If not skip selling the idea now Instead use it to inspire young folks ..... Only local private schools in lagos can't afford a light microscope All local public schools have here( even though most don't use it) . Pls dont forget our ancient waec syllabus doesn't require knowledge of a microscope use A lot... Just inspire others |

horpeyemmi66: Well, the one thing I know that people do is apply to different institutions using the different pathways. They do that to up their chances and nullify appearing twice.
Say you got Medicine via UTME and luckily gained admission to the same Medicine via DE in the same school, you would inevitably be appearing twice, you know.
Which of "you" would the school matriculate? "UTME-you" or "DE-you"? This is the same reason why you can't study two courses in the same institution concurrently(even UG and PG).
Your best bet is getting admitted via one channel alone, if you understand me expressly.
If you can rectify this, please do so(change your institution on either of the channels as you deem fit).
Ps: Perhaps there are loop holes, I can't tell. However, this is a different dispensation than Ojerinde's. i have a friend that had admission for both utme and DE for ui 2018 OF COURSE hes resuming 200lev next month the utme admission is just there no complications |

PharmJohn88: Hi senior medics in the house, I dough off my cap for you all. The struggle is still real, but the challenges are not insurmountable.
Your boy had recently signed up for JUPEB program to better get assured for admission to study medicine and surgery only for the love of medicine.
At this stage, it is clear that JUPEB is staring more boldly at me more than I am staring at it, partly because I don't know which text to use in study and don't even have any.
My esteemed seniors, kindly suggest texts that can see me up this mountain, because I can't afford to make less than 16 points -- what I will be better glad if you can help with a soft copy of any A-level text on my core courses. Those I saw were too elitist and astronomical in price; I couldn't afford them.
I just can't fail JUPEB; it's too demanding and capital intensive: please help a brother. Hi I did Cambridge But I have jupeb friends ,the highest attainable Is 15 points For physics ; nelkon and Parker For chemistry; Cambridge chemistry and advanced chemistry For biology; advanced biology and Cambridge biology You can search for nelkon in PDFdrive.net You can download Cambridge texts at Cambridge's website , searchon Google |

Pes13: Looooolz, that is true anyway.
Just like in 2014, a medical student of OAU that I so much respected (You know those few people with reputable and popular monikers) just came on nairaland to claim is little bro scored 94% in UI putme(mbbs). We all believed, and celebrated the young guru.
I was personally flabbergasted and mesmerized because I manage to score 76%.
But the whole lie busted when UI claim the highest Putme score that year was 90%.
When he was confronted, his reply was Na so we see am > |

Fweshman: hello medicos, pls I'm in need of your advice. I'm just 20yrs old and I applied ABU Zaria for an admission to study MBBS and the Admission list is out since one month ago but unluckily I was given medical radiography moreover radiography is a new department in Abu Zaria. my aim in life is to become a medical doctor which is a dream since childhood. so I don't really know what to do . if I should go for the course or not or prepare for jamb next year. the worst thing is that I've never heard of the course even once in life and I don't know how marketable it is here in Nigeria and abroad. I'm very confused, pls give me the best piece of advice pls thank you all and happy new year in advance Dilemma(s) like has been in long existence I have 3 options- *Go for it and write jamb 2018 *Go A-levels and write jamb 2018 *stay @ home and disturbed, and write jamb 2018 If you aren't sure, go for radiography... I believe there are better comments coming.. |

obstead200: I wud not advice him to accept the botany. These courses have a way of tying one down and sucking them in, especially if one lacks a strong resolve. U end up accepting to study the course just because u like ur Coursemate in that class, or because u like one babe or one lecturer. These kids are highly fikle and impressionable. It is better he rejects it and remain focused. He can learn some other skills in the mean time
And.............. Good medical schools in the Philippines ?
Dude u believe the internet too much. Alternatively, what the hell are u smoking I agree with you If he goes for Botany he might get distracted - But if he stays @ home - emotional breakdown What I think - go for A levels and write jamb 2018(you must pass oo) |

I had this problem too, but when I was inclined with getting closer to God (the Bible - especially proverbs and 1st corinthians ) it condemns lust and any form of sexual immorality What you'll avoid is staring at... Rebuke the devil each time it wants you to think or do that thing Be very strict in your dreams too, Rebuke and pray when you notice - be conscious |
