Family › Re: Relationship Dilemma by DOD1: 7:13am On Jul 05 |
Gentlesoul2021: Good day N'Lander
I need genuine opinions on a relationship dilemma.
My younger sister is 31 years old. She's highly educated with a master's degree, works with an NGO as a Programme Coordinator and Mental Health Counselor, and is also a skilled fashion designer with equipment worth over ₦2 million. She's hardworking, focused, and has consistently supported our family. Her job has taken her across different states, exposing her to diverse experiences and opportunities. Above all, she's deeply committed to her Christian faith.
She recently met a fellow church brother who has expressed serious interest in marrying her. However, he left school after Primary Six and works as a traditional window louvre fabricator. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with learning a trade, he has had opportunities to upgrade his skills to modern aluminium fabrication but hasn't pursued them. Instead, he seems more interested in becoming a pastor or working in a church, though he currently has no clear or realistic path to achieving that.
Another concern is the family dynamic. My mother and the young man's mother serve in the same church unit. On several occasions, whenever he goes out for a job, his mother would call him back or redirect him for other errands, and she would even mention these things to my mother. This has given us the impression that she relies heavily on him, raising concerns about the level of responsibility he already carries within his family and how that might affect his future marriage.
My mother strongly opposes the relationship, believing the gap in education, career progression, ambition, life direction, and even family expectations is too significant. I understand her concerns and tend to agree, but it also raises an important question.
Can love alone sustain a marriage when there's such a wide difference in education, ambition, exposure, career growth, and family responsibilities? Or should long-term compatibility, shared vision, emotional maturity, and the ability to build a stable future together carry more weight than love?
I'd genuinely appreciate respectful and honest opinions from both married and unmarried people. Please keep the discussion civil and objective—this isn't about looking down on anyone because of their educational background or occupation, but about understanding what truly makes a marriage work in the long run. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Vs Obama: Which President's Iran Deal Was Better? by DOD1: 9:15am On Jun 23 |
basilico: If Iran had obeyed the JPCOA agrreement, full compliance through Year 10 would have resulted in the following outcomes. 1. Lifting of Centrifuge Manufacturing Bans Iran would have been legally permitted to drastically upgrade its enrichment technology.Advanced Production: The strict cap on manufacturing advanced centrifuges would expire. Iran could begin building complete, highly efficient IR-6 and IR-8 centrifuges at a rate of up to 200 machines per year. Infrastructure Upgrades: Iran would gain the right to install the necessary infrastructure at its Natanz facility to support these rapid-enrichment cascades.
2. Full Termination of UN and EU Nuclear Sanctions October 18, 2025, was designated as "Termination Day" under UN Security Council Resolution 2231. Had Iran complied: UN Security Council Exit: The United Nations would have officially closed Iran’s nuclear file and removed it from the Security Council agenda. Permanent Sanctions Relief: All remaining UN and European Union nuclear-related economic and architectural sanctions would have been permanently lifted, rather than just suspended. 3. Expiration of the "Snapback" Mechanism The JCPOA’s controversial snapback mechanism—which allowed any original participant to unilaterally reinstate sweeping UN sanctions if Iran violated the deal—was bound by a strict 10-year expiration date. After October 2025, Western powers would have lost the ability to bypass a UN Security Council veto to punish Iran with automated international sanctions.
4. Transition toward a "Nuclear Threshold State "While Iran would still be bound by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) prohibiting actual weaponization, the lifting of the 10-year caps would have significantly shortened its "breakout time" (the time required to enrich enough weapon-grade uranium for a bomb). Critics argued this timeline would allow Iran to legally scale up its enrichment capacity to an industrial level, effectively solidifying its status as a recognized nuclear threshold
Stop your propaganda. Today had they obeyed the deal Iran would be free to enrich Uranium to whatever level, free from sanctions. Today they would egally have a nuclear bomb
Obama gave them a pathway to the nuclear bomb carefully tying the hands of the international community after 10 years. I can tell you for a fact, there was not a single good thing in the deal . Not a single one.It was to be a total capitulation after 10 years .
Trump has bombed those centrifuges they built. The negotiated settlement denands Iran to hand over all the 440 kg of the 60% HEU to America . There is no pathway to the bomb in the proposed negotiations simple As for the money Iran recieved an immediate cash $1.7 billion in pallets it's annual oil exports are around $45 billiom. Ok |

50 Secret Terminal Codes Every Nigerian Windows User Needs to Master (Nairaland Tech Blueprint)
Hi friends, I'm gonna be teaching you how to learn sth that will metamorphose into valuable skills. Who knows?? If you master how to use the Terminal, you may learn how to build your own websites soon enough with your PC being the server before you even deploy. Don't mind my jargons...
But let's focus on today's teaching..
Most people in Nigeria treat the Windows Command Prompt (CMD) or PowerShell like something meant only for Hollywood hackers or programmers. But if you are running a business, freelancing, or dealing with typical Nigerian tech issues like slow networks, fake hard drives, and sudden power cuts, the terminal is your ultimate weapon.
You can do literally anything with your Command Prompt or Terminal in your PC.
Instead of paying a repair guy in St Michaels Aba thousands of Naira to fix simple software issues, or struggling with slow UIs, you can use these 50 raw terminal codes to force your laptop to do exactly what you want.
I know you are seeing this is premium knowledge already!
Here is the complete, breakdown-by-breakdown guide formatted perfectly for your notes. Bookmark this page immediately!
Use the knowledge positively always.
PART 1: NETWORK & DATA-SAVING HACKS (Defeat Bad Network & Glo/MTN Throttle)
These codes help you bypass network glitches, check if your Wi-Fi is being tapped, and optimize poor connections.
1. ipconfig /flushdns The Blueprint Explained Simply: Think of this as clearing the brain memory of your network card. When a website refuses to load even though you have active data, your laptop is likely holding onto a stale, broken network map. Running this forces your system to ask the network for a fresh connection route instantly.
2. netsh wlan show profiles The Blueprint Explained Simply: This lists every single Wi-Fi network and password profile your laptop has ever connected to in its life. Perfect for when you forgot the password to a friend's MiFi or office router but your laptop remembers it.
3. netsh wlan show profile name="WiFi_Name" key=clear The Blueprint Explained Simply: The direct follow-up to code 2. Replace "WiFi_Name" with the network name, and Windows will print out the exact password in plain text right on your screen. No software required.
4. ping google.com -t The Blueprint Explained Simply: This continuously sends tiny packets of data to Google to check your internet stability. If you are doing a Zoom call or heavy upload and it keeps cutting, look at this terminal screen. If you see "Request timed out," you know your network provider is failing you.
5. netstat -an The Blueprint Explained Simply: This displays a live list of every single port and IP address currently talking to your computer. If your data bundle is draining mysteriously fast while your browser is closed, run this to see if hidden background apps or malware are secretly streaming data out of your machine.
6. tracert nairaland.com The Blueprint Explained Simply: This maps out every single router, server, and underwater cable station your connection jumps through to reach a website. If a site is loading slow, this shows you exactly which server along the pipeline is bottlenecking your data.
7. getmac The Blueprint Explained Simply: Pulls the physical hardware MAC address of your laptop. If you are configuring your home router to block neighbors from stealing your Wi-Fi, you need this code to whitelist your specific machine.
8. arp -a The Blueprint Explained Simply: Shows all devices currently sharing the local network with you. If you suspect someone in your yard is secretly hooked up to your personal hotspot, this code lists their hardware IDs.
9. nslookup netflix.com The Blueprint Explained Simply: Queries the DNS server directly to verify if a website's IP address matches reality. Great for identifying if your internet provider is redirecting or blocking a site you are trying to access.
10. pathping google.com The Blueprint Explained Simply: A deep network diagnostic that tracks your connection path for several minutes, calculating packet loss at every single step. It tells you exactly where your signal is dropping.
PART 2: COMPUTER VILLAGE DEFENSE Codes (Exposing Fake Specs & Faulty Hardware) Use these codes when buying a "UK-Used" or "Belgian" laptop to check if the components inside are genuine or dying.
11. powercfg /batteryreport The Blueprint Explained Simply: Generates a hidden health document for your battery. It compares what the battery held when it left the factory versus what it can hold today. If a seller tells you "Battery lasts 5 hours" but the report shows the capacity has dropped by 70%, run away!
12. wmic cpu get name The Blueprint Explained Simply: Asks the motherboard directly what processor is installed. Since scammers can edit the Windows "About My PC" screen to make a Celeron look like an i7, this code bypasses the trick by reading the hardware firmware directly.
13. wmic diskdrive get model, size, status The Blueprint Explained Simply: Pulls the factory model and health status of your storage drive. If a seller stuck a cheap, failing, second-hand hard drive inside a clean laptop body, this code will flag the status as "Bad" or "Pred Fail" instead of "OK."
14. wmic memorychip get speed, capacity The Blueprint Explained Simply: Displays the exact size and physical speed of every RAM stick slotted inside the laptop. Essential for confirming if you are actually getting the high-speed DDR4 or DDR5 RAM you paid for.
15. wmic bios get serialnumber The Blueprint Explained Simply: Extracts the un-editable hardware serial number embedded on the motherboard. You can type this number into the official HP or Dell website to verify the exact day the laptop was manufactured and if it is stolen or refurbished.
16. systeminfo The Blueprint Explained Simply: Dumps a massive list of everything about your system—including the exact day Windows was installed, your BIOS version, and your system model.
17. driverquery The Blueprint Explained Simply: Lists every single hardware driver running on your PC. If your web camera, bluetooth, or keyboard is acting strange, this code shows you if the driver is active or broken.
18. dxdiag The Blueprint Explained Simply: Opens the DirectX Diagnostic tool in a flash. This is the absolute best way to check your exact graphics card specifications and VRAM size before buying a laptop for gaming or video editing.
19. msinfo32 The Blueprint Explained Simply: Launches a massive system information dashboard that shows your hardware resources, components, and software environment in extreme detail.
20. powercfg /energy The Blueprint Explained Simply: Monitors your laptop for 60 seconds of normal use, then builds a file detailing every single app, bug, or setting that is abnormally draining your battery.
PART 3: ADVANCED PERFORMANCE & FIXES (Save Money on Repairs) When your system is lagging, hanging, or throwing errors, run these codes to repair the OS yourself.
21. sfc /scannow The Blueprint Explained Simply: System File Checker. It scans every single core file in your Windows operating system against an official blueprint. If a virus or bad shutdown corrupted something, it fixes it automatically.
22. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth The Blueprint Explained Simply: If sfc /scannow fails because the corruption is too deep, this code connects directly to the official cloud servers to pull down brand-new, clean system files to rebuild your OS.
23. chkdsk /f /r The Blueprint Explained Simply: Check Disk. It locks your storage drive, scans every single sector for physical or logical errors, fixes them, and safely recovers any readable data from dying parts of the drive.
24. tasklist The Blueprint Explained Simply: Displays a live text stream of every program running on your laptop, along with their unique Process ID (PID) numbers. Great for spotting hidden apps that are slowing your PC down.
25. taskkill /F /PID [number] The Blueprint Explained Simply: If an app (like Chrome or a heavy game) freezes completely and refuses to close when you click the "X" button, look up its PID number using code 24 and run this to kill it instantly.
26. gpupdate /force The Blueprint Explained Simply: Forces Windows to instantly refresh all security and operational system rules. Useful if you tweaked a deep setting and don't want to waste time restarting your computer for it to take effect.
27. cleanmgr The Blueprint Explained Simply: Opens the advanced Disk Cleanup utility directly. It cleans out deep, hidden system caches, old update leftovers, and junk files that are hogging gigabytes of storage space.
28. defrag C: /O The Blueprint Explained Simply: Optimizes your main hard drive. If you use a regular HDD, it rearranges scattered data files so they load faster. If you use a modern SSD, it runs a command called TRIM to keep the drive healthy.
29. sc query The Blueprint Explained Simply: Pulls up a list of every single background system service. You can use this to spot weird, unrecognized services that might be spyware running silently.
30. shutdown /r /t 0 The Blueprint Explained Simply: Forces your laptop to restart immediately with zero lag or delay. The /t 0 sets the countdown timer to exactly zero seconds.
PART 4: STORAGE & FILE MANAGEMENT (The Command Center Control) Navigate your laptop like a pro. These allow you to manipulate files, hide data, and clean folders via raw text commands.
31. dir The Blueprint Explained Simply: Lists every file and folder inside your current directory. It is the text equivalent of opening a folder in File Explorer.
32. cd Folder_Name The Blueprint Explained Simply: Change Directory. Moves you inside a specific folder.
33. cd .. The Blueprint Explained Simply: Steps you back out of a folder, moving you exactly one level up in your file tree.
34. mkdir SecretFolder The Blueprint Explained Simply: Make Directory. Instantly creates a brand new folder named "SecretFolder" at your current location without right-clicking.
35. attrib +h +s +r MyPrivateFolder The Blueprint Explained Simply: The ultimate privacy hack. This hides a folder completely and turns it into a protected system file. Even if someone selects "Show hidden files" in Windows, this folder will remain completely invisible until you manually unhide it.
36. attrib -h -s -r MyPrivateFolder The Blueprint Explained Simply: The key to code 35. This strips away the secret flags and brings your hidden folder back to normal view.
37. del /f /q File_Name The Blueprint Explained Simply: Forcefully and quietly deletes a file, completely bypassing the Windows confirmation prompts and the Recycle Bin.
38. ren oldname.txt newname.txt The Blueprint Explained Simply: Instantly renames a file from the terminal window.
39. tree The Blueprint Explained Simply: Generates a beautiful, visual flowchart mapping out every single folder and sub-folder branch inside your current directory.
40. robocopy C:\Source D:\Backup /mir The Blueprint Explained Simply: Robust Copy. This creates a perfect mirror backup of a folder. If the process gets interrupted because your battery dies or a power cut hits, it remembers exactly where it stopped and resumes perfectly next time.
PART 5: POWERSHELL SUPERPOWERS (Next-Gen Automation Hacking) PowerShell is advanced. These cmdlets let you run modern commands that normal CMD cannot touch.
41. winget upgrade --all The Blueprint Explained Simply: The ultimate lazy man's code. This scans every single software application installed on your PC (Chrome, VLC, Zoom, etc.), checks for the newest updates online, and downloads/installs them all automatically in the background while you drink water.
42. Get-Process | Sort-Object CPU -Descending | Select-Object -First 5 The Blueprint Explained Simply: Instantly targets and lists the top 5 heaviest programs currently sucking up your processor power. Perfect for tracking down what is making your laptop fan spin like a generator.
43. Get-Service | Where-Object {$_.Status -eq "Running"} The Blueprint Explained Simply: Displays an organized sheet of every single background system service actively running on your laptop right now.
44. Stop-Service -Name "Service_Name" -Force The Blueprint Explained Simply: Forcefully shuts down a core background system service that is causing lag or software conflicts.
45. Clear-RecycleBin -Force The Blueprint Explained Simply: Instantly empties your laptop's recycle bin cleanly, freeing up space without opening a single desktop icon.
46. Get-Content log.txt -Wait The Blueprint Explained Simply: Streams a text file live on your terminal screen. Anytime another application adds a new line of text to that file, it updates right before your eyes in real-time.
47. Get-FileHash C:\Download\app.exe -Algorithm SHA256 The Blueprint Explained Simply: Calculates the digital fingerprint of a file. If you are downloading security tools or apps from unofficial sites in Nigeria, you can compare this fingerprint to the official website's hash to ensure no one has injected a virus or keylogger into your file.
48. Invoke-WebRequest -Uri "https://site.com/file.zip" -OutFile "C:\file.zip" The Blueprint Explained Simply: Downloads any file directly from the internet via terminal text. Bypasses your browser entirely, making the download highly stable on patchy connections.
49. Get-ExecutionPolicy The Blueprint Explained Simply: Displays your computer's current safety restriction level regarding running custom scripts or automation files.
50. Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned The Blueprint Explained Simply: Adjusts your system's security clearances, allowing you to create and run your own custom automated PowerShell script tools safely.
The Orisirisi To use these codes, click your Windows Start Button, type CMD or PowerShell, right-click on it, and select Run as Administrator. Running as administrator gives the terminal full permission to look inside the hardware and fix deep system blocks! A lot of people will find this very useful |

Cookies, Caches, and Incognito Mode Explained in Plain English 🌐🇳🇬
Following up on our last talk about phone specs, let’s look at the software side of things. Whenever you open Google Chrome, Phoenix, or Opera Mini on your Android phone, you run into terms like Cookies, Cache, Incognito Mode, and Clear History.
Most people just click "Accept" or "Clear All" without knowing what is actually happening behind the screen. Let’s break down exactly what these browser settings mean, what they do, and how they affect your data and privacy.
I mean, even you reading this mostly do too. Just like you always accept every Terms of Service you see online and never read them.😆😆
1. Cookies These are tiny text files that websites drop into your browser storage when you visit them.
What they do: They remember your identity and preferences. Cookies are the reason you don't have to type your Nairaland password every single time you open the site. They also track your activity—if you search for "men's shoes" on Jumia, cookies tell Facebook to start showing you ads for shoes.
The Blueprint: Think of a cookie like a visitor's tag given to you at the gate of a high-security estate. The next time you walk past the security guards, they don’t ask for your ID card again; they just look at your tag, remember who you are, and open the gate for you immediately.
2. Cache (Browser Cache) This is a temporary storage area where your browser keeps downloaded website parts (like images and logos).
What it does: It speeds up your browsing. The first time you visit a heavy website, your phone downloads the banners, fonts, and logos. The browser saves them in the cache so that the next time you open that page, it loads instantly because it doesn't need to re-download those heavy images from the internet.
The Blueprint: Imagine you drink a specific brand of sachet water every day. Instead of walking down to the wholesale market every single time you are thirsty, you buy a full bundle and keep it inside your kitchen. The kitchen is your cache—it saves you time and transport fare.
3. Incognito Mode (Private Browsing) This place is not only for Step Mother and step son videos naw. This is a special browsing window that does not save your local data.
What it does: When you close an Incognito tab, your phone immediately wipes out the search history, cookies, and forms you filled out during that session. However, it does not make you invisible. Your network provider, internet service providers, and the websites themselves can still see your IP address and what you are doing.
The Blueprint: Imagine entering a supermarket wearing gloves and a plain black hoodie. You walk around, buy what you want, and leave. Your family at home won't know you went to that shop because you didn't bring anything back, but the security cameras inside the supermarket still recorded your face.
4. Clear Browsing History This is the setting that deletes the timeline of websites you have visited.
What it does: It wipes the record list stored on your phone. If you hand your phone to a friend, they won't be able to see the specific links you clicked yesterday. It cleans up local tracks but does not delete your account data stored on the website's main servers.
The Blueprint: This is exactly like tearing out the pages of a personal diary where you wrote down all the places you visited during the week. The book becomes clean, but the people you met at those places still remember you came around.
5. Site Permissions (Camera, Location, Microphone) These are the access gates you control for individual websites.
What they do: They prevent websites from secretly monitoring you. A banking website might ask for your location to verify your transaction safety, while a video streaming site will ask for camera access. If a simple blog site is asking for your microphone permission, that is a red flag.
The Blueprint: Think of site permissions like hiring a plumber to fix your kitchen sink. You give them access to the kitchen, but you lock the bedroom door. If you catch the plumber wandering around your wardrobe, you know something is wrong.
So wetin we don discuss do far: Phone lagging or storage full? Clear your browser cache. It frees up space without deleting your passwords.
Want to browse a site without revealing much? Use Incognito mode. (Although recently, Google is actually asking users to share those cookies on incognito).
Tired of creepy ads following you around? Go to settings and block third-party cookies. Ok |

In one country, one man can not just decide to use this weapon (nuke) without the approval of several other people while in the other country, using the weapons or not lies in the hands of just one man called the supreme leader; a man who has no one in power to check his excesses (democracy vs theocracy) Please be sincere with yourself and answer this question. Mercisharelove: 📰 US Warships Cross Strait of Hormuz for First Time Since Iran Conflict Began
Washington / Gulf Region — April 11, 2026
Two United States Navy warships have sailed through the Strait of Hormuz, marking the first such transit since the outbreak of hostilities between the United States and Iran.
The move represents a significant escalation in naval activity within one of the world’s most strategically vital maritime corridors.
---
⚓ Operation Details
According to U.S. defense officials, the warships, identified as guided missile destroyers, conducted the transit as part of an operation aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation and maintaining maritime security.
The passage is also believed to be linked to ongoing efforts to secure commercial shipping routes, particularly following reports of naval mines and threats to tanker traffic in the region.
---
🌍 Strategic Importance of the Strait
The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow but critical passage connecting the Persian Gulf to global markets. A substantial portion of the world’s oil supply passes through this route daily.
Any disruption in this area has immediate consequences for:
- Global oil prices - International shipping - Energy security worldwide
---
⚠️ Iran’s Response
Iranian authorities have reacted strongly to the development, warning that the presence of U.S. naval forces in the area could heighten tensions and potentially violate ongoing diplomatic understandings.
However, in a contrasting statement, Iranian officials disputed the U.S. claim, asserting that no such transit occurred, further highlighting the growing information divide between both sides.
---
🕊️ Diplomacy vs Military Tension
The transit comes amid a fragile ceasefire and ongoing diplomatic engagements aimed at de-escalating the conflict. Despite these efforts, the situation remains volatile, with both nations continuing to assert strategic influence in the region.
Analysts suggest that the U.S. naval movement signals a dual approach:
- Maintaining military readiness - Supporting diplomatic negotiations from a position of strength
---
📊 Global Implications
The renewed military activity in the Strait of Hormuz raises concerns among global markets and governments.
Energy dependent economies are closely monitoring developments, as any escalation could disrupt supply chains and trigger economic ripple effects worldwide.
---
📌 Conclusion
The crossing of U.S. warships through the Strait of Hormuz underscores the fragile balance between conflict and diplomacy in the region.
While negotiations continue, the presence of military forces signals that the path to lasting stability remains uncertain.

America can setup a temporary military operation base inside Putin's Moscow to kidnap Putin and Kremlin won't even lift a finger. It's just a matter of mutual respect that America haven't invaded Russia to kidnap Putin unnoticed like they did to President Maduro of Venezuela.
Iranians and their terror supporters were making a lot of noise that America cannot put boots on ground in Iran that if they do, they will never leave Iran alive and here we are witnessing a movie-like rescue that have sent shockwaves to the rest of the world and further cement US position as the world's undisputed world superpower nation that no nation can challenge.
America that have a latest secret weapon that demobilizes enemy troops within certain radius and make them unaware of what's happening around them for like one hour, na the country weh Iran, Russia and Chinko wan challenge, I just de laugh sha.

It was then I realized American military have been dealing with UFOs and have been communicating with UFOs who happens to be extraterrestrial beings that seems to be the architects of global development and technology revolution. They were trying to make contact with earth and American military was the first to get in contact with them.
Make una de underrate America until hand touch una, I just de laugh |

Odebayo4010: A vvoman that puts your preeq inside her mouth is a hoerrible vvoman and is not worthy to be your wife, a responsible vvoman won't put your preeq in her mouth, she won't even think of it not ask for it, how can you consciously marry such a vvoman?
Svcking of preeq is not our thing, it was never part of our culture, it's indecent, improper and disgusting. Now thing of this in another angle, have you ever wondered how she learnt it? How many men she has put their preeq inside her mouth? Remember she swallowed their speerrms, I don't think any responsible man will marry such vvoman unless he is also a detty human being.
Only an irresponsible man will marry a co-ck svcker, imagine kissing the mouth that has svcked 100-1000 preeqs, imagine sharing cup or water with such vvoman, imagine eating food with such vvoman, most of you men that married such vvomen are irresponsible.
Make such mistake of marry a vvoman that gives Mouth Action so good and rides so good on bed you will regret it, Ronaldo trained to be one of the best athletes in the world and she is no different. You should have nothing to do with a deek sucker, a vvoman that puts preeq inside her mouth should never be your wife, her giving you Mouth Action is reason enough to disqualify her.
The gospel has been delivered, learn or perish the choice is yours my brother, there's never going to be happy ending for simps. |

Toks2008: I saw this tract yesterday and i can't imagine the level of heresy.
We all know that appearing decent is good but the level of condemnation as seen in this tract is mind blowing and does not reflect the teachings in the Scriptures.
Nearly all the Scriptures quoted have no bearing with the images... These are the false preachers the Bible warned us about... They make salvation look like bondage hence make it extremely difficult for many to be saved... Believe it or not, some people will see this and actually believe they can't make heaven and will either give up their salvation or not even bother to accept salvation.
Can't believe that someone will take time out to spend money just to spread this heresy. Is this what salvation is all about?
Collosians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
Mathew 7:1 Amp “Do not judge, criticize and condemn others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge, so that you will not be judged unfairly.
Acts 13:39
"And through him everyone who has faith is made free from all those things, from which the law of Moses was not able to make you free."
This scriptural verse simply makes it clear that we as believers are no longer under the several laws of moses as listed as sinful acts in the attached.
And finally let us go to 1 Peter 3 which makes it clear that looking beautiful outwardly in our own way is not a sin but advises that we do not just focus on looking good outwardly but also have a Godly nature... It may interest us to know that even GOD almighty loves gold, diamonds and other lovely jewels which is why he meticulously adorn paradise with gold and precious jewels.
1 Peter 3: 3 -5 "Your adornment must not be merely external--with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewellery, or being superficially preoccupied with dressing in expensive clothes; 4but let it be the inner beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this way in former times the holy women, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves'',
If GOD sends people to hell because of body arts(Tattoo), wearing jewelries, braiding of hair, wearing dreads, earrings and so on as listed on the attached image then that will definitely trivalize the sacrifice JESUS made on the cross...
If you feel that dressing in a certain way or appearing in a particular way is not ok by you then please dress in a way that you love but don't ever judge or condemn anyone based on your own standard or belief.
MAY GOD HELP US ALL. |
Romance › Re: My Married Ex Pestering Me For Sex by DOD1: 2:35pm On Sep 19, 2021 |
Charmingrascal: I didn't want to share this but I was motivated by someone who created a thread on how his ex has been calling him https://www.nairaland.com/6722392/ex-never-stops-calling-me#105224144
It's a long thread but please read to the end.
I dated this girl when I was kind of younger around 19-20 years while we were still dating she travelled out of Nigeria (to Libya) without informing me, infact without informing any of her family members according to what I found out. After like Three years I, got her message on Facebook requesting for my number (I was in the University then) I gave her the number and we started chatting.
She pleaded that I should forgive her that she still loved me and all. We got along real good because she really changed, more matured and fresh. The girl I was dating in school then got to know and we had issues. The girl picked her number and called her to leave me alone but instead of living me alone she blasted the girl and even involved one of her friends then they insulted the girl and told her that she met me first and the girl should leave me alone. She was working and was always sending me money then and promised to come home soon.
She also confessed to me that she had a baby for one guy there but they were not married. To cut it short she came to Nigeria around 2018 and brought many things for me and we continue our bleeping spree. (I got an STD through her then). Then I had to go for service (NYSC) in 2019 we were apart again, unfortunately while I was serving I got to know from her close friend that that she was cheating (the friend wanted me too) Infact I was told that she was constantly sleeping in the guy's house.
I told her on phone that I knew about how she was cheating, she begged and ask me to forgive her (that was 2019).
Fast forward after service I stayed back in Abuja because I got a job. To cut it short I got to know that she was pregnant for another guy in Nigeria, she hid it for me, she wouldn't send me her full pictures but she later told me when it was obvious she couldn't hide it no more, infact the guy wanted to marry her, she told me she wasn't going to marry the guy that the pregnancy was just a mistake, I personally convinced her to stay with the guy since she told me herself that the guy liked her so much and was taking care of her and her first baby. Then this girl said she would stay with him on the condition that I would still be dating her. I was shocked and surprised I refused and told her that I will never be involved in such an illicit affair.
While this girl was heavily pregnant she was sending nude pictures and was constantly begging me that we should continue having sex, it continued till early 2021 even after the guy engaged her, I refused I blocked her on Facebook where she was sending the nudes to, she started sending it to my WhatsApp and I blocked her there too.
Now she has given birth and I am presently In the state where she resides with her husband, (that's where I am from too) I don't know how she found out that I am around and she has been calling me still begging for sex.
I wanted to report her to her brother and sister who were aware of our relationship back then but a friend asked me not to report her, infact some of them are telling me to give her what she wants (the bad guys that I have) Lol I have warned her to desist from making such request but she is still requesting to just see my face, as at 2 days ago she was still begging to see me, I told her I was going back to my base yesterday maybe that's why she hasn't called me yet.
I am a young man of 28 years and one of the vow I have vowed is never to sleep with another man's wife except I am not aware that she is married.
I can snatch careless men girlfriends but not to sleep with another man's wife or fiancee.
I fear karma.
I am sharing this to tell men to be very careful with the kind of women they call wife. Her attitude makes me have phobia for marriage I swear.
A married young lady with a loving husband still begging an ex for sex is too bad and I feel sad for her husband who might be beating his chest that his wife will never cheat on him. |
