@ op u said nothing must b removd from d book yet u claim dat a new dispensation has abolished d old one dat states dat rest should b observed on saturdays meaning dat d 1st law has technically been removd. So u see, any knowledge dat contradicts itself as a whole can not b regarded as d truth. |
Human can not exist without believing n d act of believing is god-given, ur claim that god does not exist notwithstanding. Last bullet, evryone has a way of confessing god's existence consciously or unconsciously |
This Igbo people will not stop being offensive; ur problem is inferiority complex towards Yoruba n you'll never admit it. Hence all this make up theories. There's nothing like oyibo in Igbo language, u just open this thread to test d acceptance of ur weird ideology as a similar one was open sometimes ago about the origin of oyibo. The most annoying thing is that some gullible Yoruba also believe this yeye story. We all know that Igbo word for white man is onye ocha so u all should stop this madness of trying to steal others language because of it's popularity. U came to lagos just like many other tribes n became familiar with many yoruba words that u no longer can speak without those words even when acting a movie in some of ur village bush. Words like: Abi, se, joo, oga, sha, asewo which u now pronounce as ashawo, n many more. I'm sure or future generation would also claim that those words are igbo words. There's nothing wrong for u to use those words wherever u like but claiming that they are ur language is a big blow to Yoruba's face. BTW, the word is oyinbo n not oyibo. |
I have noticed that whenever a topic is raised about an achievement of d igbos even when it is just an individual achievement, comments like Igbo people rock will litter d whole thread. An example of such is when a thread about Jim Iyke's water bottling company was created. While their Yoruba counterparts are becoming much more reasonable with such comments, d Igbos keep blowing their own trumpet. For instance, a thread was opened recently about 6 of best university libraries in Nigeria, and most of those universities are in Yorubaland, only 1 in d east, and you hardly see comments that praise d Yorubas. Just imagine if 3 of d 6 libraries happened to be in d east, you'd hear comments like: igbos have been d most educated since 1960, Igbo kwenu, who say Yoruba are d most educated etc. All we are saying is that there is need for a change in ur attitude. |
I don't even like that movie else i'd have finished watching it a long time ago. I keep abandoning it because of too much suspense in it. it is overrated abegi. I prefer legend of the seeker any day. |
Who are deceiving? They actually want military deployed so they can intimidate d people. Dirty game. |

I think it is "bike" instead of "okada" |
I've been to several parts of the country, part of which was my stay in owerri, imo state, in 2005. In 2006 I went to orlu (same imo state) to spend some months and then returned to owerri. It was during my stay in orlu that I realised how expensive water is in that part of the country. There's no well nor bore-hole in orlu. I asked why and was told that water is too far from the ground that a contract of 10 bore-holes had been awarded, only 3 were attempted and none was successful because they couldn't reach water. However, there's a spring which I visited once but people hardly go there because it's too far and hilly. So you are often left with the choice of buying water @ N10 per bucket - then you start treating water like it was gold - the people selling the water usually have it delivered to them by tanker operators coming from some far place. And you are constantly drinking sachet or bottled water if you can afford it. I just hope Okorocha has done something about this because he was campaigning for 2007 election when I was in Orlu, that's by the way. Now this is a critical situation in orlu according to my experience. Do you know of any similar or worse situation? Please share. Thanks |
Only $2.6m to keep d borders more secured, n they are stil waiting on US to keep their words. Is that not about d same amount fg wants to give away to mali for their election? Naija govt 'to ndu ori olori ti awodi ngbe ti e lo' na wa o. |
IYO, what movie is the best ever? It may be difficult to pick one, because there have been a lot of great movies in recent times. But IMO, I give it to 24hrs. To me that movie is mind-blowing: talk of intelligence, technology, the real timing etc. I'm even of the opinion that every security outfit in every government of the world learnt one or two things from the movie because it's quite revealing and educating. There might be some sort of conflict in one's mind trying pick one as the best, jusy try anyway and let's know which one is your best movie. Thanks |
Kristty: 1.I cannot date a guy who drinks, smokes,ur no 5 realy got me cracking n 4 dat I respect ur choice all-together |
deandavid: bros abeg, forgive my ignorance wats d difference? Are they 2 different countries or do they have different flags. My brother, the world is waiting for the rise of Nigeria. Until Nigeria becomes what she ought to be, the world will never be balance. Even if not in our time, but it must happen. Nigeria have replaced isreal in terms of being d chosen nation, so fly the Nigerian flag, its beautiful. |
I was watching a nollywood movie recently, titled kingdom of beauty. There are these five guys, including nkem owoh, who went into the land of the spirit in order to save someone's life. And there and then I heard the sound of a motorbike blaring that some of the actors were even looking back. I nearly cracked my ribs laughing, I wonder what stops them from repeating the scene. Another funny thing I see in nollywood movies is that whenever a super star dies at the beginning of a movie, I always anticipate for two things: either the ghost of that character comes back to haunt for revenge or the whole movie will be full of flashback of the super star character, and I've never been disappointed. If possible, you can watch "crying free man" where mercy johnson died @ the beginning and the whole movie from part 1-4 is full of flashback, lol |
Good development, keep it up |
[quote author=iebelieve]@braine, this is No theories....its so really..and i totally agree with d school of thought.... Dr. Umez's thoughts have historical proves.there is a document called d mandate dat was supposedly given to all d first african missionaries of the 1890s..and it was carelessly misplaved by one of d misionaries in kenya.........: d document in synopsis states: 1.teach them(africans) to read and not to reason. 2.teach them to focus and keep lookng unto the sky and neva into d ground 3. Teach them to believe in a supreme God and not their gods... ETC etc Inother words, d whites or colonial masters used religion to tactically get into d blackman land, they just taught our grand fore fathers to read, and dat was mainly the bible.they taught d 3Rs ...Read, Write and aRithmetics.....while our grandfore fathers exerted all their energies studyng the bible, d whites excerted all their energies developing scientifically.if u observe careful, most of the worlds invention were in d 1890 to the 1900s.... Til today, our schl curricum is built by them, evaluated by their methods and so on...and this is why there is a great difference bwteen our schls and theirs. |
D malian team wouldn't want to go home yet cos of d situation in their country n they av really played their hearts out, now at d mercy of luck via penalties |
fellis: ^That isn't just a theory. Black people are actually covertly being taught to believe that they are inferior mostly through the use of mass media. How many times have you actually seen any of these major foreign television stations potray Africa in a good light? It is always one depressing story or another. If they are not broadcasting news about the wars in some African countries then they are showing images or footage of starving and dying poor Africans.Well said |
sexkillz: [color=#000030]Having a very good piss after you have been pressed for long. . .Just like having sex after a long time |
Even if they gave nff such an impression, I av always doubted if that story would be officially true. Caf was only bluffing. |
I guess d best SE can get is a draw. Therefor they should seriously work on their penalty kicks as that might be their saving grace |
Since I've been watching SE's match, this is the first tym I did not jubilate upon their goal. Why, cos I c dis whole selection of keshi as d continuation of d conspiracy amokachi started in USA 94. He's stil there as d ass coach n his influence is telling. Hence d selection of their own ethnic group alone n dropping of players that are still very relevant from other ethnic group. Shame on keshi |
Richfella: Men are biologically programmed to respond to a woman's looks (hardware). While women are programmed to respond to a man's behaviour (software). |
Looks like keita is d only player in d malian team wit goal on his foot, he made all d significant attempts at goal n finally scored |

Niger keeper may not b a basket afteral |
I revisited some of michael jackson's video this morning with the aim of doing other things while it plays, but amazingly, I still find it charming that I stayed glued to the screen. And I wonder, is there any other artist one can say is greater than michael considering the impact he made on youngsters and his fan around the world, the number of crowd he ever pulled n his dance that compares to none, amidst other things. What's ur take on this? |
I remember eleyinmi |
As d AFCON 2013 kicks off 2day, which team do u think has d potential 2 lift d cup? For me I think ivorian team is a team 2 watch considering how luck seemed 2 b against them in d final of d last edition. I think they're going 2 display a great fighting spirit, thus it wld b difficult 4 any team to stop them. Howevr, I think d black star n d super eagle may come up with a surprise. |
It's simple, charter a train 4 d occasion n it'll b calld a bridal train |
Each time I hear stuff like this, I can't stop but wonder how the african borders/countries are so vulnerable. First it was a fallout from libya to mali n some other countries n now from mali to naija. My question is: how were this terrorists able to move those many sophisticated weapons from libya to mali, so much so that the entire malian army is not in good shape enough to confront them alone, I mean didn't they cross borders? Now they have entered naija, did they enter empty handed or with weapons? I'm sure with weapons, n I ask again, did they come in through the bush-path or the border? Smh |
