Hmmm... That's not generally true anyways. A virgin guy may be financially discipline, or seem so, because he's not really entered a woman's world- so to say. He is free from certain fear and anxieties- but he's actually not yet a man until he's been financially committed to a woman (I am not saying until he's slept with a woman)

@ OP, Since you claim to be a christian, and you kept yourself from sleeping with any girl till this age, I could assume you're a spiritual person (born again); but that may not be correct anyway. But if it's correct, at this your age and level you should have discovered how God speaks to you personally. And if you have, has God spoken to you about this particular lady? Or you just want to lay the forgiven sins on her head? Though you have been a virgin, has God not let go of many atrocities of yours against Him over the years? Shelah!

I disagree. That's not the best answer to give. I am a child of God, and I believe in divine leading. But when it comes to marriage, beside God telling you to marry someone you too must be convinced within yourself that you're ready go all the miles with this person God is asking you to marry. So holding on to the phrase "God said" without the man talking beyond the spiritual is damn lazy and probably unreal

The United States before the end of WWII was considered a second world and prior to that the new world.

The Third world concept arose after WWII with the decolonization era which saw the independence of many former European colonies.

Third World to me, reflects the limited or lack of global and regional diplomatic and economic influence.

Developing Nations on the other hand, leaves one with the impression of an autistic retard nation.

It's to me another useless political correct dictum akin to how the term "Special needs" has now replaced "invalid".

For as long as we accept the description "developing world" and with Europe, US and China not slowing down soon for us to catch up, I believe we will be stuck with that euphemism for another century.

Neither of the terms really matters me. I don't really feel it. What makes a nation develop is not really about what help it gets or doesn't get from abroad; it's rather the capacity of the leaders to channel the right course for the nation and their resolve to follow it through.

Except for your reference to the origin of the term 'third world', which is pure history; in modern day context, the term 'third world' sounds more derogatory and thus more offensive than 'developing nations'.
