#Houseboy #impregnates, kills boss’ daughter as man defiles 18-month-old baby in Bauchi

A 27-year-old houseboy has been arrested by the police in Mai’ari Arewa village, Pali District of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State for allegedly strangling his boss’s daughter after he impregnated her.

DAILY POST gathered that the suspect, Munkaila Ado was said to have impregnated the 13-year girl and having connived with her mother, took her to Gombe State for an abortion.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, Ahmed Wakil, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in the state on Saturday evening.

DAILY POST also reports that after successfully aborting the four-month-old pregnancy, the suspect and his friend strangulated the victim, burnt the body beyond recognition, and buried her in a shallow grave at a nearby bush in Akko LGA in Gombe State.

Wakil, a Superintendent of Police, said that the teenager’s father who discovered that his daughter went missing and suspected his houseboy and his accomplice, reported the matter at the Alkaleri Divisional Police Headquarters.

He said: “On 10th August 2022 at about 9.00 am, one Alhaji Danladi Mohammed, male of Mai’ari Arewa village Pali, lodged a formal complaint at the Divisional Police Headquarters Alkaleri that, on 4th August 2022 his biological daughter, Safiya Alhaji Danladi (13) of the same address, left home and was suspected missing.

“He said he strongly suspected his houseboy, one Munkaila Ado (27), and one Muazu Umaru (35) all of the same address to be the principal suspects on the whereabouts of his missing daughter.

“On interrogation, the suspect confessed that the missing girl was his girlfriend who was four-month pregnant to the knowledge of her mother but unknown to the father Alhaji Danladi Mohammed.

“He further revealed that he conspired with the mother of the missing girl and his accomplice, Muazu Umar, and took the victim to Gombe to procure an abortion.

“On reaching Gombe, the victim was led to the house of one Hajiya Amina Abubakar, female, (50), in Jekada Fari, behind specialist hospital Gombe where the victim was administered with some substances to cause miscarriage.

“Eventually, on their way to mai’ari village along Akko LGA Gombe State, the two aforementioned suspects strangulated the victim, and consequently, the victim fell unconscious and gave up the ghost.

“In the same vein, they burnt the body of the victim beyond recognition and buried her in a shallow grave at a nearby bush in Akko LGA Gombe State.

“On the strength of that preliminary investigation which immediately commenced, the scene was visited by the DPO Alkaleri and evacuated the victim to the General Hospital Alkaleri, where she was certified dead by a medical Doctor.

“The two aforesaid suspects were arrested for violating the human rights and dignity of the girl child.”

The Police Spokesman further stated that in another development, a 59-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping an 18-month-old baby in Yelwan Kagadama area, a suburb of the Bauchi metropolis.

He said that the minor’s mother reported the incident at the Yelwa Divisional Police Headquarters after she met the suspect and her baby on her bed with blood coming out from her (daughter’s) private part.

“On 9th August, 2022 at about 7.00pm, one Nenkat Danladi, female, (31) of Yelwan Kagadama lodged a complaint in Yelwa police station that on 6th August, 2022 at about 11.30am, she met one Alhamdu Yusuf, male, (59) of same address on her bed with her daughter one Blessing (not real name) (1½) of the same address.

“After about 30 minutes, the nominal complainant discovered that the private part of her daughter is oozing blood, on the receipt of the complaint, a team DCB personnel led by DPO yelwa rushed the victim to the ATBU (Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University) Teaching Hospital Bauchi for medical examination.

“The suspect was arrested and an investigation commence in earnest,” he added.

Wakil said that “the task has not been an easy one, but in line with our constitutional mandate, we shall remain fierce, tireless and relentless in committing ourselves toward the safety and security of lives and property.”

He assured the general public of the Command’s readiness to continue updating them as the investigation unfolds, pointing out that the Commissioner of Police Bauchi State, Umar Sanda, directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.

Stop Insulting Elders On Social Media - Senator Orji Kalu Tells Youths

Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senator representing Abia North, has condemned the unruly attitude of some Nigerian youths on social media, especially on Facebook.

Kalu, at about 3am on Sunday, recorded and shared a video on the social networking site where he complained bitterly about youths abusing statesmen when they ought to be learning from them.

Manchester United had suffered the defeat by Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium, making it the English club’s second loss in the new Premier League season.

Kalu in reaction made a Facebook post about how it was “the first time in 84 years” that Manchester United would suffer “a heavy defeat to Brentford.”

The Senator and two-time former governor of Abia State added, “Definitely not a good time for Man U and its fans, I hope they get back on track and on time as one can only imagine what will happen when they face Liverpool next week.Huge win and Great performance from the Bees!!!”.

But some of the lawmaker’s followers took to his comment section to wish that he and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), would suffer similar defeats in their political outings in the 2023 general election.

One of the Facebook users, Vincent Vincent, wrote: “Mr. Kalu please don’t mock Manchester United because the same faith (sic) awaits you come 2023.”

Another user said instead of devoting time to talking and finding solutions to the myriad of challenges facing the country, the Senator was discussing “Man United game, defeat and shame.”

Kalu, in a subsequent post he shared at about 4:30 am on Sunday, said he was worried about the attitude of Nigerian youths toward their elders.

“I feel disturbed the way Nigerian youths (behave). Instead of them to face what the business is all about, they are facing what is not the business,” the Abia Senator complained.

“When we discuss Man United, they should be able to reply to Man United, not abusing a statesman like me that this is how your party will end. We should learn, education is on Facebook, Facebook is not for abuse.

“You don’t insult your elders and become successful. I don’t want to curse anybody in Nigeria because I didn’t behave like this as a youth.

“I’m 62 years old. When I was 25 I was already very successful. So, if I see youths who should chat with a statesman like me so that they will have a lot of ideas to do something with and they are joking with it…It is not fair on me, neither is it fair on most of the civilized youths.”

Kalu advised that youths should shun the urge to attack politicians like him who take out time to engage with them on social media and instead seek to learn from their experiences.

“We should outgrow this behaviour and be able to learn from each other. We need one another and we must learn. I spend my time to chat…to come to Facebook. It’s not how our youths should behave. We must be attentive and proactive and discuss issues, not people.

“I started being successful very early. I’m very successful (and) for the rest of my life I’d be very successful. I never needed to be governor to be successful (and) I never needed the Senate to be successful. So, you people should be able to discuss with a Nigerian who is ready to discuss with you, that makes the country a viable place to live.

“How can we teach, how can you learn when you abuse everybody? Ask some of the youths on that Facebook, they’ve learnt a lot from me and I’ve learnt a lot from them. It is a partnership we must establish to be able to discuss freely. I don’t encourage how you people are abusing people on Facebook.

“I’ve replied to a few people who said are you a Man U fan and I said no, I only support good football. The only team I’ve had in my life is Enyimba. I enjoy the premiership, I enjoy La Liga, I enjoy the Italian league, I enjoy the German league and all the leagues but I don’t have a team, I don’t want to break my heart or not eat my food like most of you.

A man learns from a woman how he should treat her....

He is not wicked and mean,

You basically trained him wrongly....

Men don’t treat all women thesame....

There attitude in a relationship is based on who they are dating....

In one relationship he was a beast, in another relationship he appears to be a saint...

Is not about him, is about the lady he is with.

Don’t make the mistake of playing down on your values...

He will despise the things you despise and value the things you value....

It seems On every social media platform you hop on now, everybody is talking about tech and coding, how it's a quick way to financial freedom, earning in dollars, work from home and all that soft life. You'll begin to see comments of people yelling teach me, teach me, show me the way, I'm really interested in this programming thing (LOL ) undecided and all these comments from desperate people whom I'm sure don't even have the passion for the field, just hoping it gives them big bucks, thinking because you don't need a degree to be a programmer it'll be a breeze... And most of you devs are not even making matters any better, you keep on making this field look cheap and very soon, programming is going to get casted and over saturated... The case of 10k web developers is still much abound and very, very, soon, it's gonna get even worse, half baked programmers go soon full everywhere, potentially causing difficulties for programmers who took lots and lots of time to perfect their skill
It's becoming discouraging for people like me who are just freshers into the field, and don't get me wrong, I'm a computer science student and programming is not something I developed love for just because of what I read online, non of that stuff. The love for programming has been there

There are people that get paid directly and indirectly to encourage people to learn programming and many of them lie to do that.

It's just like what motivational speakers do, Twitter is especially notorious for that.

You see things like:

Learn programming in 60 days and get a job.

Day 1 - 5: HTML
Day 6 - 10: CSS
Day 11 - 20: Javascript
Day 21 - 40: React
Day 41 - 45: Build a Todo app
Day 46 - 50: Build a weather app
Day 50 - 60: Get a job

Sadly, this is what a lot of people want to believe.

You also need to understand that it's the internet, some of these people are fraud, especially on Twitter.
