Why I Refused To Use Makeup Since I Was A Child – Aisha Yesufu

Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has disclosed why she decided not to use makeup since her childhood.

The mother of two took to her Twitter account to disclose this as she noted that she made the decision to not wear makeup right when she was a teenager.

According to the activist, she made a comparison with how boys are called handsome with their bare faces and said it influenced.

Yesufu explained her reason for doing so was because she believed that she can be described as a beautiful girl even without beautifying her face.

She tweeted; ”As a teenager I refused to use make up. I felt that if a boy can be called handsome without make-up then I should be called beautiful without make-up!”

Father Connives With Doctor, Nurse To Sell Baby For N400k

A father has been arrested for conniving with a doctor and nurse to sell his baby for the sum of N400,000 in Lagos State.

According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, the baby has been recovered safe.

He tweeted images of the suspects involved in the matter and said, “A father connived with his doctor & a nurse & sold his three-month-old baby to a woman for N400k without the knowledge of the mother.

“After days of searching, the Police was informed. All suspects arrested. Baby is safe. SCID to prosecute the suspects.”

I need y'alls advice

I've been learning JavaScript with my PHONE using grasshopper app for almost three weeks now for 5hours a day because I don't have a laptop now(would purchase one in two weeks time, hopefully) because I didn't want to make my lack of a laptop an excuse for not starting at all. And I must say, I've really learnt alot like, function declaration, arrays, strings, array manipulation methods, operators, loops, variables and many, many more. If you drop a Java script code now for instance, I most definitely might be able to tell you what it's upto...

But my problem now is that, learning with a phone can sometimes be really demotivating. Reason being that:

1) I find it hard to implement or practice what I'm doing so that it sticks to my brain, and thus I tend to forget simple things and find it hard to solve a simple JS code problem without looking at hints..

I've come to seek for advice, should I continue learning with my phone just to get to know alot as possible with it so that when I'm eventually ready to start learning properly, it would make things easier because I would have be accustomed with some things and some terms || should i wait till I get a laptop?

I saw these roadmap pictures for full-stack web development and the first thing that came out of my mouth was " guy what the 4uck"
I never imagined full stack web development was this deep.. Even the front end I thought was only HTML, CSS JavaScript and react was way way,way deeper than I thought. There's really alot of things to learn. not even added data structures and algorithms..

I usually do not comment on nairaland cus unlike most nairalanders I do not have a large vocabulary of foul words... well after going through the 37 pages of this thread,I must say I was highly disappointed.I have not had an opportunity to attend hackathons but I follow most of them online and there you see guys coding for 24-48 hours and build great stuffs yet they are still humble,never mention how good they are but how they can improve and do better as a team.

But here all av read about is bragging rights on top nothing,the guy who claims to have done so great in open-source project happens to steal most part of the code.

the op who claim to be the greatest programmer on earth or OK in Nigeria and the guy who claims to be coding during the era of cassette tapes(I think he mentioned since 1998) could not even help or find a way to help someone who said he has issues with a php MVC project.

I just tire for una naija self-acclaimed-programmers..

@op,from what av read all this while you appear to be foul-mouthed so you can insult me all you like but you have not proven any thing as far as am concerned.so since you've been itching for algorithmic challenges.. I hereby give you a chance to prove yourself... you and i bring up coding challenges and we both solve them within a stipulated time-frame, provably 30 to 45 minutes.

The management of singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, has announced the successful kidney transplant of the artiste on Monday.

The statement titled “Latest update on Eedris Abdulkareem health challenge’ was shared on Facebook by Myke Pam.

in as much as I don't support Seun's non-challant attitude towards this section, I think those who are advising him should build their own platforms using all the loopholes they've found here.
