The tax we pay will be used to fund the lavish lifestyle of our politicians who are already the highest paid in the world. |
How many people selling food to Boko Haram have been arrested? It is over 19 years now. Not one sponsor of Boko Haram has been arrested. Not one. The UAE sent a list of those sponsors to the Buhari government. Nothing was done about it. The present government is foot dragging as well. |
They will never learn. |
Evidence is the end of all argument. Where are the pictures? Let's be objective here. In all intents and purposes, the missile strikes failed. Each tomahawk costs 1.3 million dollars. 15.6 million dollars or 23 billion Naira got expended and less than 200 terrorists got hit? Of the twelve missiles fired, 4 failed to detonate. A failure rate of 35%. To the main issue here. Nigeria provided the US with the coordinates for the strikes. Why weren't the coordinates to ISWAP and Boko Haram provided? Lukarawa is a break-off faction of ISWAP. Could it be that whoever provided these coordinates to the US just wanted to weaken them so that they don't struggle for supremacy with ISWAP? Maybe or maybe not these terrorists were hit. The author of the report itself isn't sure. The report is all full of 'may', 'might'. Nothing definitive. It is instructive that the writer admitted that the terrorists regrouped and later struck a community killing 21 persons. So let's ask. Knowing that the US was going to strike that particular location, why wasn't the Nigerian army at the ready to conduct clearance and mop up operations? Is the army handling these terrorists with kids gloves? Check out the battle of Khasham were Russian forces tried overrunning an American military base in 2018. Using just f-22s, f-35s, AC-130s and Apaches, the US unleashed such hell on the attacking russian columns that even the sand of the desert where the Russians were, turned into glass because of the heat of the explosions. Over 200 Russians died in that battle. No American soldier lost his life. The US didn't use tomahawk missiles. They used air power. Nigeria has an airforce. What does it do? Where are the super Tucanos? That very reliable platform that even the US has now decided to permanently retire the A-10 Warthog for. But in the hands of Nigeria, it is wasting. We have the F-7 Ni fighter jets and ofcourse the capable Mi-35m attack helicopters. Yet, terrorists operate freely in our forests. Our disgrace of a former minister of defense went ahead to shamelessly say the reason why we don't bomb terrorists is that they hide under thick vegetation and the bombs can't reach them. Has he ever seen a JDAM explode before? I'm sure the US will be all too happy to send a couple dozen our way to use. It is a sordid embarrassment and shame to our armed forces that close to 20 years later, we are still battling with these rag tag elements. |
Racoon:Of all people to steal picture from it is Donald Duke they went for. That's one of the most flamboyant Nigerian ex-governors who's picture will be recognisable anywhere and yet that's what they picked. |
Terrorists. Call them what they are. Terrorists! |
What is it with the insistence of the Fulani that they must settle in someone's land? You refuse to co-exist with your hosts peacefully, you destroy their farmlands, rape their wives and mothers, kidnap entire families, or as they have done in Plateau state, rename and forcefully take over more than 60 communities while dislodging the natives. The case of Benue is very sad. That's where Nigeria's largest air force base is located and yet the airforce is watching as these elements settle in that state. They are waiting for presidential directive before doing their jobs as usual. |
Scientists wey don take alomo bitters, erujeje and colos abi? |
People are in prison for lesser crimes like petty theft, fraud and other felonies. They don't get released. But individuals who join terrorist organisations, take up guns and kill people until they get arrested and locked up are termed repentant terrorists. Of course they are in prison and don't have access to weapons or their former network. Why won't they appear repentant? Now the government will release these killers and they'll return to their former ways. It isn't enough that the Nigerian army even went as far as absorbing some of these terrorists into its ranks. And they act surprised whenever intel gets leaked. |
Did he catch her cheating? Why not just walk away? Divorce is always an option. How will those children cope mentally now? |
Useless eye service. Those counterfeit TV sellers have been operating for years. SON can't claim ignorance. |
Arostar2023:If you know your Bible as you claim, you will know that the message of Paul and the gospel of Christ are very divergent. But I'm sure that's not a conversation you are willing to have. |
Liar. There is no video anywhere. I am beginning to believe that the US strikes were a failure. US struck Isis in Syria yesterday. The videos are all over the website now. Close to 3 weeks later and we can't find videos of US strikes in Nigeria anywhere. |
Finally. They have made it available. |
I don't understand how we have come to accept the brazen disregard for the very instructions Christ gave us. Christ plainly said call no man on earth your father (Matt. 23:9). So anyone going around parading himself as a father in the faith is making a mockery of the message of Christ. |
Why doesn't army ever burst Fulani herder's armoury? You will never see where Fulani get disarmed. The ones caught in Kwara state said they were working under the NSA office and were promptly let go! |
He didn't see the ball that crossed the Algerian goal line? That should have been Nigeria's first goal. Nigeria outplayed Algeria. The eagles were clinical in a way they've not been for ages. |
This is what we get when we keep electing corpses into office. |
Whoever holds the rights to distributorship of LG in Nigeria cannot say they aren't aware of fakes all over the place |
Hanty you just got married. Wait until you reach 2 years inside before you start to talk. That is if Una fit reach 2 years. |
And the president can't call him to order? Truly Tinubu is weak. |
Psalmistproject:When Biden was in power, the Epstein case was still an active investigation and under seal of the courts. Biden couldn't have released it. Trump ran for his second term with the promise that he'll release those files. Why is he developing cold feet all of a sudden? Is it because in one of the redacted pages it was revealed that he raped a 13 year old girl repeatedly till she got pregnant and was there when the child she gave birth to was murdered and the baby thrown into the river? Or you are too lazy to read up on the files that have been released? |
Donald Trump is doing everything he desperately can to stir up anger and turmoil in America. Primarily because he doesn't want his atrocious acts with Jeffrey Epstein to be exposed and secondly, he wants to cancel the elections that are slated for later this year. Right now, Donald Trump is the most dangerous dictator on earth and if care is not taken, that man will set the world on fire. He is threatening to use military force to forcefully take over Greenland. If he does that, NATO is as good as dead. |
The previous returned Abacha loot that got relooted by Buhari's attorney general Malami makes me think no country should bother returning any so called Abacha loot. |
Weak president. Can't he sack Wike? Why is he allowing Wike bring his chaos into the APC? It is a serious afront to the president for a man who is not a member of the APC to dictate to the APC its internal affairs. Wike should be called to order and if he refuses, Tinubu should sack him. |
This is a great policy. So there's someone in Tinubu's government that has small sense? |
The matter has already died. Police no like dis kind wahala. |
