How will they say Nigeria has 11 f-7 fighters? We bought 12 years ago from China. I know one crash landed in Kaduna when its landing gear failed to deploy and its pilot was burnt to death alive because the canopy of the aircraft failed to open. Another one crashed in the Zaki Biam/Katsina Ala forest area of Benue state though both pilots ejected successfully.

Up to six f-7 aircraft are already lost to various accidents. Two F-7Ni aircraft taking part in the aerial display rehearsals to mark Nigeria’s 58th independence anniversary celebrations were involved in an air collision incident on Friday, 28 September 2018. The two Air Force jets crashed during the rehearsal for Nigeria’s October 1 Independence day air parade.

We don't have up to 11 f-7 anymore. As a matter of fact there was a time only 1 f-7 was operational in Nigeria. The f-7 is Nigeria's flagship fighter jet platform.

Nigerians are generally stupid people. Someone looted YOUR money and yet you celebrate him. The same people will burn someone who steals a loaf of bread to death.

In another location up north, police barged into a hotel and seized a guest. They detained the young man without any evidence of crime. They forcefully went through his phone and seeing nothing incriminating still insisted on detaining the guy. The young man transferred 600k to a POS account they provided. Opay flagged the account and it got blocked. By then police had freed the guy not knowing that the money had been blocked.

When the pos operator contacted the guy, asking him to send a mail so that the account gets unfrozen, the young man realised he had the police by the balls. He threatened to escalate the matter to the commissioner of police. Come and see begging. Police have been burning up the young man's phone with calls and messages. They were even promising to send the boy 600k back. Mind you, the money the boy transferred is still in the frozen account.

Two of the police men have just months left to retire and they are desperate to kill the matter. When the issue got to my attention, my advice was simple, let the young man take the matter up with the police and let the errant officers be taught a lesson.

Herdsmen are no indigenes of Benue state. You can't visit someone's land and freely graze on his crops and then kill them when they speak out.

There you have it. Proof of what we all have been suspecting for so long. The Nigerian army has tactfully supported the Fulani killings going on all over the country.

The soldiers are posted to these communities not to prevent Fulani attacks but rather to disarm the attacked communities and stop them from defending themselves just like in Plateau state for instance.

One does not keep quiet when matters that will affect ones destiny are being decided. Israel is about to strike a deal with the nation of South Sudan to relocate millions of Palestinians from Gaza to South Sudan. This has the potential of seriously destabilising west and central Africa - Nigeria inclusive.

There is a reason that no Arab country wants to accept Palestinians. Any country that accepted them in the past, has regretted it. In the 60s and 70s, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon who accepted Palestinian refugees had to deal with uprisings from them. Till date, Lebanon has not recovered as Hezbollah who are resettled Palestinians, have remained a thorn to that country. The Palestinians almost overthrew the Jordanian king and Egypt had its first terror attacks when it accepted Palestinians.

Palestinians from as young as 12 are already knowledgeable in how to assemble bombs and chemicals for rockets. They are trained in urban warfare and tactics. If we thought the Fulani in Nigeria are already a handful, we don't want to imagine what will happen when the Fulani begin to pay battle trained Palestinians to come over to Nigeria.

The African union needs to raise its voice and speak out. Nigeria needs to sound the alarm in the United nations. Africa cannot allow this.

It is sad that Israel is engaging in such large scale genocide just like the Nazis did in the 1940s.

However, we have the case of another individual who forcefully obstructed the operation of an airline. Not only did he bring an unauthorized liquid to the plane, when told that what he brought on was not allowed, he actively sought to prevent the plane from taking off. That is condemnable.

There are clear penalties for obstructing aircraft under Nigerian law. That the individual in question still runs free is an indictment on anyone charged with ensuring sanctity of operations in the nations airports. The NCAA has no justifiable reason for passing the buck to the desk of the IG. It should have acted there and then in the airport since it has policemen and air marshalls attached to the agency. The same marshalls who needed no instructions from anyone before Emmanson was bundled away.

The US customs and immigration office should have information on him. But considering how long ago he immigrated, it may be hard to access the information.

I don't think the army accepts just about anyone to be a military doctor. You didn't go through NDA and the army considers combat training a core component of the training of all its cadets.
Your training as a medical doctor is one thing. The ability to hold your nerves in an active theatre of combat is another thing.

However, if you must, the army requires that you are registered and up to date with the qualifications any doctor needs to practice in Nigeria. You mentioned that you are a consultant. If you are less than 40 years of age, then the army will welcome you.

The world was on the cusp of eliminating HIV for good until Trump came. Outside the breakthrough of Lenacapavir, American scientists had finally figured out how to send targeted medication to the reservoirs of HIV hidden in the body. Places where drugs couldn't get to normally. There was excitement in the scientific community. It was short lived.

Trump came and cancelled all funding for HIV research and programs meant to ensure HIV drugs get to communities that desperately need them. Lenacapavir is very expensive. This twice yearly injection costs roughly 28000 dollars. With funding for generics, the shots could come down to 50 dollars each. But Trump has stopped that.

There's hope that similar breakthroughs can come from Europe. I strongly believe that the battle against HIV can be won and very soon.

I know of bankers who resigned from their jobs and paid 5 million naira each for work in FIRS. My in-law paid 1.2m for job in NDLEA. This is two years now and he still hasn't gotten. Someone else paid 700k for federal fire service job. No job no refund of money.

Job racketeering is rampant across all arms of federal and state government agencies. The only place you won't have to pay money to join is to be a recruit in the Nigerian army. Those ones are looking for who to send to the meat grinder.

Oshiomole signed some a few weeks to the end of his tenure.

Edit: Former Kano governor Ibrahim Shekarau signed death warrants in 2006. The first civilian governor to do so. Adams Oshiomole and Godwin Obaseki of Edo state also signed death warrants at the end of their terms.

I do however fail to understand the hesitancy of governors to sign death warrants. They don't want to have blood on their hands? But by their mindless looting of state resources, money that could have been used to pay pensioners, workers and provide security get looted. Hospitals that should be equipped for the better to the advantage of the people, get stashed in foreign accounts. Countless thousands have died as a result.

Indirectly, state governors by their corruption, have killed more people than the courts have sentenced to death.
