Developed/Educated countries maybe leaving religion but beware!!! Look at China for instance. A child can get run over on the street and no one goes to help. I was once a humanist like you before I realized that it is the selfishness of humanity that is destroying this world. Imagine how hundreds of years ago some selfish people came into Africa and took over everything they saw for their own benifit. I seem to imagine why after staying up all night to pray I don't get what I want and sometimes I fast and still negative result.

So, because we lack awareness we value the pleasure more than the purpose then have to deal with the consequence.

Is it immoral? We have the freewill to decide based on our level of understanding of Life. If you have interfaced Life using a religion then the moral teachings of that religion should be your guide.

If you’re a Humanist then you will believe that you have the choice to do what you want because humanity is all you see. The rest of Life does not matter to you or just exists for your pleasure. In such a case nothing supercedes humanity, not even the choice to decide who lives or dies.

Who knows the interval of Time since Time was first created? Only foolish men trying to understand creation. Be it through a god or scientific evolution. Which one is closer to the truth? None.

The Religious are fools for concluding but it comforts their ignorance of reality. The pseudo scientists are also fools for “concluding” their stance on evolution. No true scientist ever concludes. They only theorize based on evidence.

Both must concede that you don’t have enough information to explain your creation otherwise you will defend yourself foolishly. Be open minded to knowledge because even the most religious person depends on technology to live.

We know that the constitution of Nigeria and every other nation does not recognise fornication or adultery as a crime so does not legally frown at it. However they frown at rape. As long as the sexual act is consensual between two adults be they married or not, according to the law this is not a crime.

So a married woman can have consensual sex with someone who is not her husband and vice versa and not be seen as a crime as long as both gave consent as adults.

Also a single guy or girl can have multiple partners as long as it was always consensual and the person is an adult according to the law.

So here is my question to atheists.

Is Fornication or adultery wrong?

If you believe and follow a subjective morality would you say it is wrong for your wife or husband to sleep with another man or woman besides you as long as it was consensual?

If you are single, would you say it's perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with your girlfriend or boyfriend sleeping with other people as long as it was Consensual?

Would you get angry if you saw your wife or husband or boyfriend or girlfriend sleeping with other people even when this was consensual?

As one who is Spiritual but not religious, meaning I believe in a higher power, just not the gods created by man, I will say all Morals are Subjective. You can try all you want to believe that yours are Objective but they’re not.

Let us be logical people. What you have to know is that you are also going to die when your time comes along. Understand the illogical reasoning behind the god concept of creation. He (god) being all powerful and wise decides to enter into an exercise by creating similar being to himself, not because he is lonely but because he can. He first did so when he created his angels but then (having being pleased) with his angels (even a defiant one name Lucifer) he decides to create (man) in their (god and his angels) own image.

What is real?

certainly many of us have never asked ourselves this question, countless times we are on this board and very many others making confident remarks, stoic convictions about life, reality and existence but have we asked ourselves a question like that above with the aim of sieving reality?

We perceive this reality through our senses, our thoughts are shaped by our perception of this reality which is through our sense but like the quote above says, what if there is an entire aspect we are missing because we have not the organ to detect it?

What if the ones we detect are illusionary made from a treacherous organs we possess?

We barely know 1% of the universe, what if what we can perceive through our senses are not even up to 1% of what reality has to offer, maybe we are missing the majority of what is real?

But wait, What exactly is real and how do we measure what is real from what is not?

Descartes even though in conclusion of his ideas went back to his old vomit, he in fact undeniably started a string that is interesting.

The rattle snake sees in infrared, the bumble bee in x-ray, to these creatures color is not real but that doesn't mean it is not, at least to us.

What is Real?
Great question. We can only assume that Humans are equipped with all the tools we need to decipher our reality however, the 6th Sense, for instance has vertually disappeared because we no longer exercise it. What is the 6th Sense? Intuition.

Intuition is the combining of your 5 Senses to anticipate and even predict outcomes. Sadly, we are loosing it because of a reliance on technology.

We dont even know if we had more Senses however, we do know the 5 remaining are useful in deciphering reality as we know it. Senses are designed to initiate stimulation in our Brain. Different people might even experience a different stimulation than others. Color blindness is a good example. Some people may see a red color as blue. In Dohgon science every color is associated with a number according to the wavelenght.
0 is Black
1 is Red
2 is Yellow
3 is Green
4 is Blue
and so on. Black is the source of all existance, wisdom, and knowledge. We dont strive for enlightnment, we strive for endarkenment.
1 is Red because Red has the longest wavelenght. That is why Red is used to get attention. It is the easiest to see.

So what happens when someone is color blind? Their reality will be mixed up. They might go through a traffic light and cause an accident. We might even say those people are living in a different reality because they dont see it as a majority of people do. Reality is therefore based on the interpretations of our stimulations.

Then there are the Authistic (some call them witches and demons) whos Brains are locked in one or two Senses enabling them to perform exceptionally at one thing while being inept at another.

Yes there is a lot we are blind to and may never know or gain knowledge of because of blind Faith and Fear of the Unknown.

In referring to the "white man" I am referring to Life unaware in search of truth therefore (theorizing). I am Life same as the white man except he is built to be Curious and Risky and ultimately self rightuous, uninterested in Truth because he believes himself the highest among creation. His behavior is not a mystery when you begin to understand Life. Life is like the Behemoth described in your scriptures. Watch it and marvel at its ways, understand it using the Spirit or be chewed up by it.

Yes the white man discovered Nurons, pyrimidine, cytosine and many other Brain chemicals but he doesnt use that knowledge to understand Life beyond manipulating and controlling it. Again Life doesnt mind because Life is self correcting and purposed to survive and thrive at all costs. Think of how ironic it is that Life is trying to create an android (a mechanical humanoid that cannot die. Conscious and posessing all the knowledge humanity has gained) True immortality but watch him and be careful lest he distroys you along with him. The only way to redirect the consciousness of Life is to pay attention to the Spirit. Decalcify your Pineal Gland so the energy of the universe can help to guide you.
