Igbos have always known and identified that common enemy. But I'm not sure if our sophisticated brothers do so. |

GAZZUZZ:I texted on whatsapp 2 days ago but U said it isn't available and suggested I use castrol. 0W-40 or 5W-40 Mobil 1?? |
inze:done so.Out of stock. |
thebigkendo:Mobile 1(US) full synthetic Abeg,do U know where som1 can buy d above-mentioned? |
I think what he means is that d fan continues 'blowing' even after he turns off d engine. Used to notice that on my golf3 that year even wtout d engine overheating. Op,come and clear d air. |
Benz or nothing. |
achi4u:Lol. Had a similar experience though not a breakdown on that same place. Was driving down from Abj wt my wife though we were still dating then on d Thursday b4 easter in 2014.Spent 5 hours in a hold up in Koton Karfe due to bad road and impatient drivers who blocked d road and refused to give way for each other. Managed to reach Lokoja by 4pm and after speeding like hell, reached Enugu by 8pm. A classmate of my wife we were on d phone wt invited us to sleep over in Enugu but stubborn me refused cos I had this foolish feeling that it was a sign of failure for me if I didn't reach Abakaliki that night and normally I'm a night crawler,I even feel more comfortable in d night than day. Ol boy, very shortly b4 I Ezillo, this kin torrential rainfall that looked like they were pouring buckets of water from heaven started falling. And I be Ezza man,if I apply break there,I'm dead,d fighting wasn't so hot then but Ezillo ppl were still doing their guerrilla warfare on that road then. Visibility was so bad that we were following a truck loaded with foams and we were thinking it was a very tall building,na 1 kin jalopy volkswagen bora I de drive then, headlamps were nothing to write home about. Wifey said we should stop naa,I quietly told her thank U don't mention. Na my ogbonge sense I come apply, copy d edge of d road by my right de move small small. Surprising, when I reached Ntezi,d rain wasn't heavy at all. Very scary experience,I still shudder when I think of what could've happened assuming I crashed into a gutter in Ezzilo due to poor visibility. |
nurey:Abeg, make una answer this question oo,me sef wan know. |
I served in Kogi west,Ijumu local govt to be precise. If U make mistake call Okun man northerner ee,u and am go put leg for 1 trouser. |
June salary wey dem pay 2 days b4 sallah sef. Me I don chop my own finish sef ![]() |
Lol. Final warning. But d way appointees of this govt disrespect elected representatives calls for concern. Anyway, our ppl say that a child who was sent to rob by his father announces his/her presence by kicking down d door. |
lonelydora:Abuja-Keffi abi AYA - Kubwa/Zuba? |
sukkot:troll,jazz away. |
sukkot:looks like u have issues wt comprehension too. If ur faculties are all correct u will have reasoned that d owners of a car mart and workshop opposite each other will have known themselves well. D mechanic workshop is a big time workshop something like gazuzz and co set-up or more, not an under d tree setting. D car mart is opposite d workshop and both owners know each other and of course my cousin was an old customer of d owner of d mechanic workshop who sometimes comes down to Abakaliki to effect repairs for my cousin at his home. I will not dignify ur doubting Thomas self wt another reply. U probably lie a lot, that's why U believe everybody lies on trivial things. |
sukkot:in ur bid to continue in ur intransigence, u conveniently missed d part where I said d owner of d mechanic workshop which is opposite d car mart SERVED AS A SURETY. Pls,bye bye, don't quote me again. Ur firm belief that everybody lies on trivial issue tells me a lot about Ur upbringing and state of mind. Oh,and I remember ur mentioned step brother or something, meaning a polygamous setting. Definitely a dysfunctional polygamous setting where everyone lies to each other and suspects each other. |
sukkot:Sorry bro. I get it now. Recession has really affected Ur reasoning. I am talking of a 2nd term legislator who was a big time contractor and businessman b4 he got elected d 1st time in 2011. When his father who was a senator during Obj's tenure died,he inherited 3 cars minus his 2 personal cars then. Like I told U,not all d cars are very modern or expensive. Let me give u a story,we once went to fix one of his cars in a popular auto workshop in Enugu,d mechanics there concluded they have to bring down d engine bla bla bla. Arrangements were already being made to get a taxi go us to go back to Ebonyi. Opposite d workshop was a car mart and there was this very shiny golf3.We went closer and inspected, neat 1st body, automatic transmission, car was started,A/C was working. There and then,he wrote them a cheque wt d owner of d mechanic workshop serving as a surety,we transferred d official number plate that was on d car we came to repair, packed his kaya, and drove back home. Don't let recession damage ur thinking oga. Speak for urself alone ogbeni. |
sukkot:U cannot talk for all Nigerians living in America my oga. Some ppl just want to build a small bungalow in their village, buy a simple older model car he will be using when he comes to naija and go on to pursue their passion while other want to own d biggest house in d village and state capital, drive d latest and most expensive jeeps,in fact, have a convoy of very expensive cars. Speak for Ur self alone bro. My cousin who is a state legislator in poor Ebonyi has over 20 cars/buses now, minus 3 he inherited from his late dad. If add to d ones he has given out it will be at least 40 and he's under 40yrs. Some ppl just have a thing for cars,d way women have a thing for clothes. |
EgunMogaji:Problem is,I could get a neat W202 Mercedes for at most 1.5k dollars, but when U factor in shipping which is at least another 1k and customs and co which are at least 350 or more,it turns to another thing. Wanted to buy that 2010 volkswagen golf in early 2015,but when I asked 2 clearing agents d amount to clear it(not d one customs will be harrasing me on d road),they gave me a quotation hovering around 1.2m,I kukuma respect myself. I'm just a minimum wage civil servant,U know.lol |
sukkot:Its not about d money oga. Some ppl are just 'restless/wanderers' once it come to cars. The cars might not necessarily be expensive or very modern cars and it gets easier if u live in a place like America where cars are cheap and U don't have to battle with shipping fees or our prohibitive customs duties. |
HEIR:exactly,or car parks of big joints in Abuja. Corolla and baby boy ti take over.Esp when d owner gives d keys to his friend to either pick something from the car or drive out to get something/someone. |
EgunMogaji:lol, even me that is recession hit and started started working 7 yrs ago,I've used 7 cars since then and could've used more if not for d economy. If U add that to d ones owned by my dad and used by me including several official cars which were freely used by me and mumsy, then it would be up to 25,not including delivery trucks for our family business. Many Nigerians do not just have that wandering spirit when it comes to cars and d economy too is another thing.Personally, though I use a W204 Mercedes now,I've not stopped eyeing d W202,peugeot 505 V6 and year 2000-2002 toyota 4 runner among a host of others which are relatively very cheap cars but d economy won't let me. 7th generation volkswagen golf and 2010 BMW 7 series de hungry me too,lol |
muller101:easy,easy bro. I know for sure that d older Peugeot 504s and 505s opened everything in each other. Both doors oo,ignition keys and booth. There was a time in my family we used to have a total of 4 Peugeots, three 504s and one 505, two of d 504s being official cars from my dad's workplace. Now,apart from one of d 504s which was brand new,PAN,any of the keys could open any other one. |
Chaii, see that very unreliable 'one paaa'. But at all at all shaa. |
Flye:Put Urself in d place of Igbos who grew up in d east and tell me if U wouldn't reason like them. Apart from d injustice of no federal presence viz roads etc, police siege and extortion, thinks about this. There is hardly any 5 years they do not bring back remains of ppl killed in d north in large numbers. When u ask of what happened,it will be flimsy like,a cartoon was drawn in Denmark,Plateau state indigenes are fighting wt hausa ppl in Jos and hausa ppl decided t kill Igbos,Nigeria wants to host Miss World and they will kill Igbos. Kaduna Christians fight with muslims,d muslims will hunt Igbos within reach and kill. Buhari lost elections in 2011 and they hunted Igbos and killed. Put urself in that position bro. |
nextprince:What about Buratai's estates? So,he was director for procurement during d arms funds saga but managed to be d only saint among sinners? |
SaulRazor:U will be surprised that by 2019, sheikh Buhari will still be incommunicado in London and d same ppl who packaged him and brought him out will do so again and raise d same religious and tribal sentiments again, and viola,Buhari is president again, especially if he contests against a non-muslim. All it takes is for a senior sheikh in Saudi Arabia to call prominent muslims in d north and southwest for a meeting and lecture them on how they will be doing d work of Allah by re-electing him. They will then come back and find a suitable narrative to use and deceive d deceivable Christians, and viola,d job is done. |
DieBuhari:exactly. Cos every rational Nigerian knew Buhari is a disaster but d illiterate almajiris and d religious fanatics who see him as one of them persisted and voted him in. Now,if Nigeria divides, his ppl can vote him to rule THEM from d grave if they like. |
