2ndly,d water being fetched from d streams are probably for bathing and other house chores,being that there's usually a small queue in d boreholes so a family would rather fetch 1 or 2 gallons for drinking and cooking rather than spend a lot of time on d queue for all their water needs and its d same situation in EVERY rural community in all d states in Nigeria.
There a borehole in almost every primary and secondary school in Ebonyi State minus other scattered ones,d worst is that d little boy of d family ties a gallon to his bicycle and makes several trips to d nearest one and fills d containers d family use for drinking and cooking.

Tony Nwoye transferred to and completed his medical training/graduated# in Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital.
He was my junior by 2yrs.
The only thing I'm not sure of is if he has done his housemanship.

Thank God d masses are now seeing d cause of d incessant strike in d health sector and thank God too that d doctors raised alarm on d dearth of facilities in d hospitals recently.
Hope those who pour blames on doctors when they go on strike will have learnt lessons from this.
U will never hear of lack of such simple medications in even rural mission hospitals but in govt tertiary hospitals,it is d norm.

I have been around this kinda guys. They don't think of investments when they hammer. They live in one room and struggle until money go come. Then they will move into a very nice apartment in one of the most expensive suburbs. They buy expensive watches and clothes and phones. They will buy the biggest sound systems and tv. Then everyday is a party day. They will be partying at home with women and whiskeys everyday until that money go finish in maybe two months. Then they'll start selling off those expensive things they bought until they've sold them off for less than half the price they bought them. When they can't pay the rent for the big apartment, they'll move back to another one room and start begging for money again. No investment whatsoever. I don't envy them at all.
