Politics / Re: Is The Average Nigerian Fraudulent? by doksng(m): 10:24am On Jul 20, 2007 |
I disagree that the average nigerian is fraudulent. Being fraudulent depands on your value system and your location. I have being with quite a lot of nigerians and and really say that I have met a lot of sincere nigerians. Most of those that live in the major cities tend to be fraudulent because it is encouraged there and everything around them e.g flamboyant lifestyles. Most of those that live outside the big major cities are not fraudulent. The environment moulds you to become what you are. It would be wrong to generalize like all whites take crap, blacks dont like to go to school, naija guys are fraudulent, italians are gansters etc. |

Technology Market / Re: We Fabricate Inverters And Other Devices by doksng(m): 8:25pm On Jul 15, 2006 |
I agree with Afam, I have being using inverters for some time now and really havent found any issues with it. I had a case when PHCN took the light for three days and that was during this world cup when three matches were being played each day. Used it to watch all the matches and used if for sometime at night and it didnt run down. When PHCN decided to return the light it didnt take very long to charge back.(I used a multimeter to check and monitor the voltages myself) If you plan on using an inverter, it would require you to plan ahead and do a proper sizing of your load and battery bank to really enjoy it else you would be crying like everyone else and dont forget to include some redundancy in your sizing incase you might increase your load. |

Religion / Re: Was Jesus Married And Did He Fake His Death? by doksng(m): 8:27am On Jul 03, 2006 |
I watched a program on discovery channel and the writer of the book Da Vinci code said what he wrote was fictitous. He said he just wrote a novel to make himself popular. People who choose to believe in the book can also believe in Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Jurrasic Park, King Kong etc |

The number of hours your inverter/battery bank lasts depends on the size of your battery bank The batteries act as a storage and the bigger it is the longer it would last. If you want to use it for home use, it would be better for you to have a separate wiring with low power equipments connected to it. There are quite a lot of things to consider before investing in such so that you wouldnt be complaining later that the equipment does not work. How good is your PHCN supply for charging the batteries, the kind of load you are going to put on it and number of hours |
