Guys, pls how do I prevent my set up from thunder? About 2 weeks ago, there was rainfall and it came with thunder strikes which affected my 1ka inverter, which is currently undergoing repair. I have bought DC surge protector and breaker. But I'm still feeling this might not be enough, cuz someone told me that I can have these accessories but if the house isn't earthed properly that they won't work.

Please what measures can I take to secure my setup from the effects of subsequent thunder strikes?

.dis powmr 60a old version work great pls.if u really want to knows panel output wattage get a 100dc watt meter and connect to ur panel because powmr reading on wattage is not accurate if u get 1600w for example on display it is actually 1200w.tryy 100a/100v/200v dc watt meter and get correct figure but dis mppt work fine.but figure not accurate

Powmr old version is fantastic but display is inaccurate. What u see is not what you get.
10amp on display is roughly 7amp real life.
Probably the 60a is 40a real.
But I will go for it a million time over.

Download acubattery app to check charging current. Worst any any android should charge with is 1000mah i.e 1A

I have 300w * 6 solar panels (just ordered 2 more panels and will install by weekend) mounted on the roof and at peak period I get like 600w, 25ahms on the Charge Controller. Am I getting the best out of the 6 panels with the reading reported above? if not, what do I need to do to get more from the Panels. Thank you.

The panel charges my former 200 ahms battery to float everyday with load but it hasn't been able to do same with the new 250ahms battery with the same load as before.

You may be right. But most people are just happy to have power that they don't even care the purity of their power supply.

What most don't know is the pros and cos of msw.
It is not completely bad as most think.
Msw is smooth for:
Regular tv ( not smart tv)
Rechargeable fans ( not regular coiled based fans)
Bulbs ( not florescents)
Chargings..
Bad for other sensitive devices.

The question is:
What are the regular appliances in most people's homes?

There is a member here named Bekas, who hasn't met me before. He got my contacts here, called and linked his friend to me who transferred complete money to my account to couple 48v 280ah lithium battery for him last week. I did way bill for him to Akure yesterday. I gave him two years warranty and I would monitor the installation to make sure everything is done correctly.
That's what we called trust.
Yesterday, another member here transferred money to my account for 24v 160ah to be delivered this week. That was trust as well.
If people I have not seen before could trust me with their hard earned money and I've not betrayed the trust, what would stop me from

Lcd TVs are not energy friendly.
Your tv is more than my freezer of 115w, if not for start up surge they would be equivalent. Save up to buy used LED 32" tv of 50w at max settings.Normal setting is just 36w.

Copper is a better conductor but costs so much more. Aluminium is good conductor, though not exactly like copper but you hardly would notice it. And it's so much cheaper.

Aluminium cable could cost just 10,000 naira , when Copper cable of shorter length, would cost upwards of 50,000 naira.

For me, I rather spend more getting better quality Batteries, Charge Controllers, Solar Panels, Inverter.
