Seires issue.
Like all the socket in the house still have smalls
Current even when the socket is off, and it's making devices like phone and laptop misbehave when plgged in while using.
I discovered this only happens when solar is charging, (the inverter is an hybrid) it works well if Solar breaker is off or it's night already . I know getting an external charge controller will fix the issue. But I'd like to get to the root of this issue at hand

Your inverter is "likely" a modified sine wave.

Check if a regular fan hums when working.

Plug the phone or laptop directly to the Inverter and check.

If the floor is tiled, touch battery terminals with your bare hands for electrical "shock" when powered on.

Lastly, get a tester for current on battery terminals.

Some pv go don gather heavy dust turning sand covering full surfaces. Yield would probably be 30%.

Okay.. but the thing is, i ran a separate socket to the inverter output (not connected to the house) and it was still doing the same thing. Now I'm confused something is actually wrong with the inverter itself

What exactly is the issue in the first place?

There is a reason they are called " PERISHABLES " in the forst place.

You are indeed a clown and a joker. Who buys tomatoes for preservation for a year. This only happens when the misinforned becomes weathy. And to make such a post only does nothing but project your IQ and poor level of understanding of life. In atomic chemistry and physics, a phenomenon exists that is called half-life. By principle, it also exists in biological sciences. The half-life principle when it comes to food and its kinds theoritisizes that the quality of all kinds of foods in life reduces in quality each day until ut becomes ordinary shaft ( death process )

What i am saying in essennce is that it is to your great disadvantage to buy raw foods for long term storage because the nutritional components of the foods becomes broken and broken down by each day. You will eat it but what makes it nutritous and nourishing for the body completely breaks down molecularly and by the time you eat it after prolonged storage the butrients in it would have diminished by as much as 50-70% hence life by this principle encourages continous work so no one stores and refused to work further

I am saying aby storage of tomatoes, vegetables, pepper for long term is a disadvantage. Do not repeata this again. Eat, thank God for provision and pray to have for the future

What about tomatoes in cans?
Foods in cans?

I've about 15 pcs of 12v inverters that the lvd has been set to 10.5v and that was very unfortunate.
I will only make sure that the cells are well top balanced and set to 2.5v lvd. One major advantage is that the 12v lithium battery hardly get out of balance when compared with 24v and 48v pack.
Though it's wrong to allow the bms to handle the lvd instead of the inverter, but what are the consequences of allowing the bms to do that job?

Reason for an active balancer esp for 24v.
As for 12v na extremely safe configuration.

UR MATH IS WRONG.........
though lithium can handle draining to 10.5v ie 2.65v per cell, it may unbalance the pack, if you dont hv a good balancer.

Not true.
I eat and dine with lithium ion grin
You divided by 4 instead of 3.
So it is 3.5v per cell super safe.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira: 2:43pm On Jan 30
The best battery for 10.5 lvd is lithium ion.
No inverter that i know of can drain it to 9v (3v per cell) despite the fact that spec sheet says 2.75v. However, one souer like data drained it to 9.45v.

i really really dont understand your logic.....
innovation is the lifeblood of the world
as per inverter&batteries india is like nokia, .... they refused to evolve and switch to android, but choose to stick to the old symbian OS......and the world left them behind...

indian inverter and battery makers are still stuck in the past, they have refused to evolve and innovate...still churning out rubbish in 2024!!!.

take luminous for instance--- the produce flooded batterys that they themselves know requires 14.7volt bulk and 13.8volt float and periodic/monthly desulphation at 15.5volt for 4hrs, yet they design/produce inverters that output only 14.4volt bulk and 13.5volt float, has no periodic equalization function whatsoever....they also use auseless fixed LVD of 10.5v which at that voltage the battery is irreversibly damaged as well ..i call this stone age design or design to fail. same people u are prasing & defending

anybody still buying any luminous inverter and their likes in this day and age is largely ignorant or not well informed

See finishing...

Building a reliable and safe Lithium ion battery pack is very hard and time taking.

How can one make it a business when you can't finish 5 or 6 orders in a week?

Remove "very hard". It all depends on size.

Yes you can buy its recipe for quick failure (lithium)
It's not recommended. It's better to go for a 24v battery at once.
In the long run, imbalance would set in.

Boss, I made that statement based on confirmed information/analysis.
1. The price of that battery should fall in the range of 230k to 260k and we know the price of original lead acid battery. If he's to carry out the capacity test of that battery, he won't not get the true capacity of 240ah. I can bet you that your 12v 100ah LFP battery will handle heavy loads better than the 12v 240ah Xtra tubular battery.
2. He dropped that information in the morning which I new his battery may have been 65% or thereabouts. So powering that load on the battery that time plus the uncertainty of the battery capacity wasn't a good idea, hence the reason pv should handle the job during the day.
Don't forget that tubular battery performs very well when it's fully charged and saturated otherwise the sagging nature would be very obvious and that was what the guy also experienced.
You would have stated battery type.
Lead acid no fit handle surge unless in numbers. If it is not lithium it not....

Hello..can someone help me clear my doubts. I have 3 580w solar panel connected in parallel.. each panel is rated 13amps... thats 39amps. But my pv current shows 12amps and battery charging current 33amps. Isnt the pv current supposed to be higher than 12amps ,. And how does a pv produce 12amp and battery is being charged with 33amps...?? Please help me understand

You need clamp meter for accuracy.

Thanks for the input everyone.
After charging the battery well with AC and PV...
I finally turned of NEPA and run the freezer... It powered it and when the load settled. I turned on all the other loads and the total was just 11-13% load. Out of the total 2kva. So i think everything is good now

Your installation is fine.
Assuming it was lithium u wont v issues with it as much as lead acid. 12v is not bad as most ppu rumoured. My full appliances run on a single 12v. Though I won't try such on 12v lead acid na untimely death b dat. grin grin grin
