I have mismatched panels of 2s1p . Infact they were so mismatched that the 190w had 42v and 2 other 350w were 34v each with Ethernet cable of 78ft garnished with 5 joining points . Still it produces an average of 16a on a 12v system. I can say my area is one of the worst place to go on grid.Despite all the loses, my freezer, washing machine, tv etc were happily working then for almost 2yrs. Now, imagine the pv with the shortest distance and with right thickness of cable.

Solar journey can never be perfect. So far it is better than Phcn and generator especially this time.

You shouldn't go broke just to power essentials.

Thridly, have repeatedly made it clear I believe lithium technology is more performant BUT because it's very difficult getting genuine cells, it's more adviceAble sticking to Acid batteries. There's a reason I don't use LG products despite they having various showRooms all over the place.

Update Guys,

I have added the second 560 watts panel in series to the CC and removed the 180 watts Africell panels. So it's now 2pcs of 560amps half cut solar panels.

Please see my yield as at 10:35am.

I also attached an external battery meter (kindly ignore other readings on the screen). The battery meter and my voltmeter gives me 12.9 when Powmr CC shows 13.3

N/B my freezer is currently connected to the setup and running.

Please what is your total load?

Disconnect any battery terminal from cc in the night or early morning and reconnect. I can only trust battery terminal disconnectiom on powmr cc even on a very hot afternoon. Try this first

With proper initial balance one is still safe.
What lithium hates is overcharging and depth of discharge. After all no lithium batteries can have exact voltages among themselves. No matter how small there is always a safe difference.

Konga is roughly an escape route to AliExpress.

those buck converters don't last long especially when you are nearing the full current rating, I got a 60a pwm charge controller that can charge a 3s battery for mine then

Boss, so I decided to try that 105w deep freezer with my 1kva inverter. I switched off everything and put on the freezer. The inverter didn't even indicate that there was an overload. The freezer worked and I checked the inverter and the load was just 17%. I was surprised.

According to secondary school physics, this always applies P=IV or I=P/V or V=P/I.

Work of an INVERTER is to Boost the voltage of your battery from 12-volts, 24-volts, 36-volts, 48-volts TO 240-volts or what is required.
Now along the line, the current of the battery is also affected.

Now depending on the voltage from where the inverter is Boosting from, e.g 12-volts, it could mean more stress on the battery and inverter system.

hence it easier (both on the battery & inverter) to boost from 24-volts, than from 12-volts. Also easier from 48-volts, than below.

Now for your own good, the less stress you put on the battery, the better for you.

Bottom line is, let's strive to put as little stress on our batteries as we could afford. Any power appliance (e.g fridge, Freezer, AirConditioner, etc) should be run on a minimum of 24-volts system and above, wether na inverterBasedAppliance or not.

That na my own opinion
