samaig: HOW DID YOU CONTACT YOUR MP OF YOUR PROVINCE, AM IN THESAME SITUATION OOO. I sent an email explaining my situation that I applied months back and it’s been delaying and due to the fact that I started classes from my home country, it was difficult and I would like it he helped in contacting immigration on my behalf. I also added my details; full name, application number, name of school and all that. His assistant replied me. Just search on google for your province and the mp there. Start with Dear ( mp’s name), My name is........ State your situation Write your details. |

Olumidestella: Congratulations my brother. But which one is APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD!!, please I need clarification on Dat. I haven't heard Dat before. Thanks Lol I’m a lady. Anyways, because of the chargeback I had, immigration put my application on hold thinking I hadn’t paid my application fees but they didn’t still inform me when they found out so they just kept it aside. Thank God for the MP I reached out that made me know on time |

ITS PPR GUYS!!!
Timeline Application submitted: June 5th 2021 Biometrics: June 9th 2021 Eligibility started: September 23rd Procedural fairness: November 18 BVL AND PPR: December 8
My application was put on hold since September. It’s been God honestly. I found out about the chargeback through an MP of my province. I came here to tell everyone and people said I was even lucky to have found out earlier. I found out on the 8th of November. I sent an explanation and paid only for me to receive the letter on the 18th. Omo I couldn’t even cry. I was just devastated. I reached out to @IAMTHEGBEMISOLA after reading how he tackled his own and got his approval. Special thanks to him and today I finally got min.
Documents submitted: Landed properties of my sponsor Bank statements Birth certificates and passport data pages of my family
Personal documents: University transcript and certificate Nysc Certificate Letter of acceptance Birth certificate
I can’t even remember the rest as the agent was the one who submitted the application. |

TheGbemisola: It’s not a scam. They are correct Hi gbemisola, if you have paid, did you send the receipt to that email and if yes, did they reply you? |

Debbie345: Hey how did the mp access your file, cause the assistant is telling me I have to be residing in Canada First is the mp for your school's province? the mp i contacted is for my school's province and i sent her my application details. thats all |

sweetchi2411: Hello Dolly,
Your agent paid for your application and that was why you were able to do your biometrics but the money was 'probably' charged back and that is why your application was placed on hold cos you are owing them.
You are lucky to have contacted an MP that was able to find out what was wrong. Reach out to your agent if you are still in doubt but be sure he/she might not be sincere to you.
Please pay the fee YOURSELF this time because you will still have to explain why 'you tried to cheat them before' much later else you might be looking at a ban. sigh, thank youu |

Debbie345: I also did biometrics and I got a charge back, I got procedural fairness letter last month, you're very lucky to find this out, I know a moniker here who got a message from IRCC that he has a debt of 235CAD and after paying he still got PFL, so I suggest you pay as soon as you can so you can get your ppr fast please when did you biometrics and when did you get the letter? |

Omiinii: It was a charge back!. You could have done biometrics if the payment bounced back days after completing your biometrics. So don't fret.if you are still in doubt. Reply me with the email I'll look it up to confirm if it actually belongs to an MP. At least you'll feel better and know you're not being toyed with. the first email from the mp was from his assistant and its mirna.cherry.517@parl.gc.ca and the email that asked me to send a receipt is IRCC.FINDebtstothecrown-DettesalaCouronneFIN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca |

TheGbemisola: First of all, Did you use an agent? yes i did. I only knew about this payment issue because i contacted an mp in which she reached out to ircc on my behalf. what if i didnt contact anyone? wouldnt they have sent a mail that something was wrong? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Dolly91: 3:59pm On Nov 09, 2021 |
Omiinii: So basically you'll been delayed for 5 long months because apparently you haven't paid your application fee. At this point if someone is not paying your application fee themselves. It's a dangerous game. so you guys dont think its a scam? as the email told me to reply with the receipt of the new payment to the email back. also, the email said i would find timeframe to pay back in my account and nothing is there. no message from ircc. Also im sorry for my many questions but how was i able to do biometrics if there was payment? |

Jay316: I dont need a magician to tell me u did not make the payment urself.u either used an Agent or someone u probably don't know.bottom line is there was a charge back on the credit card used. if u can ,pay for ur application again using barter by flute wave cos if u dont,a procedural fairness letter is on the way and if u cant answer convincingly, it's a 5 year Visa ban.sorry am being blunt my dear but that's d sad reality.plz pay ur application and biometric fee urself cos hu ever paid b4 must have paid using a credit card and there was a charge back.please act fast b4 the letter comes and u can send a letter of explanation through webform.
u r lucky to find this out before that procedural fairness letter comes cos sometimes when it comes,u may even need a lawyer to help u draft an explanation.
@Gbemisola how far with ur application ? Wow thank you Jay. I will do as you’ve said. I thought it was a scam because nothing showing in my account and they asked me to send the receipt through an email and I was confused on how I could still do biometrics. Thank you again |

Hello guys, I need urgent help So yesterday someone said they reached out to an mp and the assistant was able to give an update I did the same yesterday and the mp told me that my application was put on hold because I hadnt paid the application fee so they gave me an email to reach out to concerning the debt. Now the email I reached out to them and they said that it seemed like when I paid the fee at first, it was taken back. Now I’m confused because I don’t know if it’s a scam because really if the payment wasn’t there, how was I able to do biometrics and the rest. They should have detected that I didn’t pay na or the payment didn’t go through and also what if I didn’t reach out to the mp, how would I know because it’s not even everyone that reaches out to mp about their issues. Now I don’t know whether to pay another fee or not. Also in that email, the person said I should reply with the new receipt to that email and normally IRCC gives you updates on your account. Like if they request anything with the timeframe and all that, there’s nothing in my account. In my account, it still shows that the money is there. I’m very confused because does that mean that the assistant to the mp that replied is a scam or it’s the people she reached out to ? Please house, I really need help |

lilsss: Hello all,
I wanted to ask what the chances are of getting rejected after medicals have been passed and how long it takes before you get called for PPR because this wait na die ooo.
I got the call for medicals on the 16th of September. Medicals sent to IRCC on 27th of September. Medicals passed on the 28th of September.
Since then it has been silence.
1 month and counting has passed.
I applied on June 7th. Had to defer admission to January but the time is flying and ticket is going up and up. Should I just buy the ticket now?
I sent them my new letter of acceptance and
new passport since the old one is expiring and I didn't expect it to take this long. Its going to 5 months now.
Honest to God I am tired. I found this site maybe a little over a month ago and reading people's messages and timelines has been keeping me going. I finally decided to message today.
Abeg I need advice or motivation. Ohh this is my story. Applied June 5th Eligibility started September 23rd Did upfront 11th Medicals updates to pass on the 18th and since then I’ve been waiting. I found this site like 3 weeks ago and it’s also been keeping me going. I pray we get our letters this week ijn |
