Overall performance, I rate it 9/10. That's all I can say. Regarding the specifications, everything is correct as stated. The phone is worth every kobo spent on it.
Thank you, but I saw someone mentioned Nepal/India version. How does that affect the phone quality? It's actually almost $100 from Aliexpress too, that's like #34,000. Just conscious of buy fake products. I once had a bad experience with Tecno power bank on Jumia. Tecno said they don't make power bank.

I just got gionee x1s. The screen size is 5.2" 3gb RAM 32gb ROM. 16mp front camera 13mp back camera, 4000maH battery. It is sold 58k for 16gb in the version they sell in Naija here. I ordered around 40k from jumia but it is cheaper now around 34,500 for the blue while the gold is around 39,500
You prepay because it is shipped from abroad. Shipment was exactly 14 days.
The phone is a steal for the price. It is worth more than 60k.
Good luck with your search but I recommend this phone for you
Can you provide an honest review of this phone? I already have it saved on my Jumia cart. Wanna pay soon. The camera, battery, ram performance and the storage. Thanks.

What do you look out for in a phone?
Good ram 1gb minimum, long lasting battery, followed by quality camera in that order.

I am not an ethnic bigot but why is it always Hausa/Fulani against every other tribe? I have never heard an Igbo clash with Yoruba or Kogi vs Benue. Something must be done to curtail this.

Agriculture / Top Two Challenges To Agriculture In Nigeria by Dolypson04(m): 12:42pm On Mar 05, 2018
As a graduate of Animal Science and a passionate practicing farmer, I have come to identify the two key challenges to the development and success of Agriculture as a business in Nigeria.
Pre-production: Funding/Access to Fund
This is unarguably the greatest challenge to every startup business in Nigeria, not only agriculture sector alone. For instance, about 78% budding entrepreneurs selected lack of access to fund as their topmost challenge in the recently concluded Tony Elumelu Enterpreneurship Programme (TEEP)
Post-production: Marketing of Farm Products
After taking statistics on agriculture posts on nairaland, Whatsapp agriculture group and some websites I realized that supply far outweighs demand. You can check NL agriculture session for confirmation. Over 70% posts in agriculture section is advert for farm products, lands and equipment with very few interested in patronizing them.
What do you think is the way out of these two challenges? Your opinions count. Let's hear your view please!
Other notable challenges are;
1. Poor infrastructural facilities
2. Lack of government incentives
3. Lack of technical know-how
4. Add yours

Agriculture / Re: Advice Needed. What Can I Do With 100k In Agriculture by Dolypson04(m): 12:01pm On Mar 05, 2018

I meant what i said. Demands for snails is very hight. I have like 250 snails. I sold like 40 pieces for lady. The lady gave my number to someone and the person called and requested for a thousand snails. Another called and requested for 1k-2k snails. There are people that that called me, they needed regular supply, every Friday non stop. So, the demand is too much.
Please can you help me with the contacts of these buyers? My whatsapp number is 07062875180. Thanks

Education / Re: Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards - 2018/2019 by Dolypson04(m): 5:51am On Feb 16, 2018

Go to your local government office. There should be a designated NPC officer there. If you have declaration of age or a former birth cert, take it along and you'll get the NPC birth certificate issued to you. It'll cost you 1.5k. Depending on your desperation and the officer, it might be more.
I have the one that was filled with handwriting though they wrote original on it. Is that one tenable?

Business / Re: The Rise And Fall Of Online Retail In Nigeria by Dolypson04(m): 10:06am On Feb 12, 2018
modath:
When people throw this matter up for debate,we quickly forget about cultural & psychological differences.....People should separate emotions from this & see it for what it is, Not all those companies have been mismanaged, the business model is alien to the Nigerian mentality..

The fact of the matter is that majority still prefer to "SEE" what they are buying before they part with cash..

How many people shop online? Shops , supermarkets , roadside sellers dot everywhere....

And most important of all, online shopping is a bit more costly & room for haggling/bargaining isn't there.....

They will continue to try but I know for sure I'd rather take a trip to computer village to pick a phone than buy online when I'm not sure I'd get what I ordered & return won't be a nightmare in case it goes south...
You have made clever points. The first and the only time I ordered goods on JUMIA (A tecno labeled power bank. #4,400 including delivery charges). It couldn't even charge my 1500 mah battery to 100% whereas a #2000 roadside FIL power charge it to 100% twice
Now why should I keep patronizing them when there is no return policy even when I complained to their customer care and rated the service 1 over 5?
