You're comparing the Whitemoney of 2021 to this one of 2023. His fanbase is almost completely depleted. Most of his bandwagon fans have moved on to become arisers. I don't think he can survive an eviction list that includes Ceec, Mercy, Ilebaye and even Pere.

This show just cemented the idea that people will like who they like irrespective of their actions and they will excuse their bad acts and accentuate their good ones. Housemates with large following like Mercy, Ilebaye and CeeC can never do wrong before their fans even if they are boring, manipulative or toxic. But little Doyin who simply wants to say the truth all the time is the villain of the whole story in their eyes.

Meanwhile, DW, LU and SYE hms are still intact at 2,3 and 4 respectively.

Apart from DW who were already the fewest, it seems hms from later seasons have a recency advantage as they would have cornered most fans of the older housemates. This is what is affecting PD finalists who were entertaining but mostly now fanless.

If Phyna was in the house, Baye's game would most likely have been subdued.

I agree, PD has suffered the heaviest blow this season. If not for Mercy's paid mercenaries and influencers, they would probably be completely annihilated by the finals.
