There are functioning ports in Warri, Onne, Calabar.

You should ask why they are not attracting traffic .

Lagos Ports serve the industries in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo .

Same Lagos Ports like Wharf are cargo export points for agro goods from the north.

Where is the industrial base in the SS and adjourning SE to see these ports in the SS functioning not only as an offloading port but an export port?

Maritime shipping companies will prefer a port that they can both offload and onload cargo from.

SE is mainly a trading economy dependent on finished import goods. If Obi prefers to clear cargo from Onitsha instead of Lagos, he should be ready to get low haul vessels that will transport limited cargo from China at a very expensive rate to travel all the way from China to Nigeria and navigate the shallow waters of the river Niger upstream to Onitsha . He should expect the cost of freighting to include the cost of returning back to China with an empty vessel since there is nothing Onitsha can export that China or the rest of the world will need.

Why should a shipping company decide to use a port that he can only offload when he can choose a port that he can both offload and onload cargo ?

This is why other ports are not viable because maritime shippers do not see any motivation to use ports that are only meant to offload.

Its like a transport or air liner choosing a route that is only a destination when they can choose a route that can be both a destination and departure point.

This is why Onitsha port will never work. Will any maritime shipping company navigate the shallow waters upstream just to offload a few containers and not lift any goods from there only to make the long treacherous journey back to the ocean wasting fuel and time.

His legal team even cross examined the witnesses and have studied the evidence brought to the court's knowledge by the prosecution.

He has more than ample time to review and present his own counter argument.

This is what his lawyers would have done on his behalf but he has sacked them and said he will be handling the case on his own.

The judge who is handling this case however said he does believe the Kanu must respond to the allegations presented by the prosecution which means the judge sees justification and evidence backing the allegations.

If your kanu sees no evidence linking him to the charges he is facing he should simply dismiss each allegation with superior arguments .

At the end he is telling the court that he doesn't submit to it's authority and will not respond to the allegations made by the prosecution.

He is in effect, now telling the court to base its findings and conclusions on the presented evidence by the Government .

This can not be used in anyway to appeal further his case in a superior court since he refused to put up a defense on the allegations against him.

So what is he going to use to appeal in future ?

It appears he has resigned to his fate.

He has until Friday to present and close his defense.

I have been following some geek sites monitoring this anomalous entity named 3i/Atlas for the past 2 months since it entered our solar system.

This is one of several earlier noticed anomalies because 3i/Atlas was far from the sun's radiation and its signature did not show any heating around its observable surface. So why should it leave a trail of dry gas emissions?

Its at this point that some where claiming that it wasn't a natural space rock or comet but a sentient body being controlled as a space ship and what was earlier mistaking as a comet trail was indeed emission trails from some sort of propulsion system like a rocket .

Now here is where it gets interesting.

The object has now corrected its path to fly by the sun in an attempt to use the sun's gravitational pull as a sling shot to propel it towards earth's direction.

Now from conservation of momentum , the object should not increase its speed after leaving the sun's gravitational pull if it had no self propulsion of its on. But if its speed should increase afterwards, that means the object is sentient and being controlled as you would a space ship.

As space objects go, this object isn't that large. It weighs about 33 billion tonnes and is roughly the size of Manhattan.

But as a sentient space craft which it is looking more and more to be, this is mind boggling and whoever is controlling it will have intelligence on an exponential level far higher than what we can imagine.

In a 2015 gathering before members of the World IBO Congress in the US sometime in early 2015, Nnamdi kanu reiterated and backed his demand for weapons on two major reasons:
