How do you fix a car whose A/C system delivers chilling air to the vents in the front seat area but delivers barely cooled air to the back seat area? I want to be frozen 🥶 at the back seat area, please. Has anyone faced this issue before? How did you fix it? Thanks.

1. It could be the setting on your car, you might need to adjust the cooling/air circulation mode . Some modes "waste" air volume by pushing air to the windscreen and drivers legs, reducing the volume that gets to the back.

2. The channels taking cool air to the back could be partially obstructed with dirt, or other objects.

I have the same issue with my car(especially at low fan speeds), I have been thinking about why. The conclusion I came up with is that the channels could have some dirt in it . They might need to be cleaned out. I have not had time to properly test my theory/diagnose.

A quick way I believe this can be tested is :
- Turn on your AC
- Put your hand over the vents in front
- Do same for all the vents at the back(sometimes they are under the seat, depending on your car)
- Does it feel like the same volume of air is coming out of the front and rear vents ?

My theory on feeling for volume of air could be wrong , because the vent internal diameter /width might be different for the front and rear, this would significantly change the volume of air coming out, but I think its a good starting point to diagnose. This would indicate if you need to change your mode or clean/vaccum out the vents, or do both.
