Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Third Class Graduates: How Do You Feel When Denied A Job Due To Class Of Degree by donami(m): 10:40pm On Mar 23
Never permit the systems that grade you to limit you, learn for mastery, because when you become a master, the systems refrains itself from grading you.

Break the limits of the certificate and it will no longer be valuable to any employer but the value and skills you posses will matter the most.

When you first enter the job market, you certificate is the only yardstick, after you grow in skills and gain some experience, your skills become priority to any organization so they'll only ask for your CV, when you reach this level no one cares anymore about your class of degree. As you climb the ladder of skill and experience your CV and core skills become the yardstick.

So press harder for uncommon skills in your profession

Politicians are the ones stockpiling dollars after receiving monthly federal allocations. As soon as politicians receive this cash, they head to BDCs and purchase dollars, and stock them in personal vaults.

Religion / Re: I Lose Interest In Going To Church And I Don't Know Why. by donami(m): 11:44am On Oct 08, 2023
Ask anyone who belongs to a cult if they have ever lost interest in attending any of their meetings but those who profess to serve God serve him as they desire and according to their own will. if the pastor says if you don't come to church these are the consequences (.....list them) you'll never miss church. if you don't serve God freely without coercion then you'll serve the devil by force in suffering and pain. Your life is on the highway down another path, I hope you don't lose your soul.
Health / Re: Some People Talk Carelessly. by donami(m): 10:44am On Sep 09, 2023
The root cause is the quality of health care and the level of unprofessional conduct. These things ought not be prayer points but doctors and village people made it so. It is only in Africa you'll hear stories of women being pregnant for years without a medical solution. The carelessness of some doctors has left a lot of patients dead or maimed for life (maybe we can create a thread for this type of story). You can't blame people for how they think cos the system made it so. In developed countries, nobody prays for power supply but in Nigeria, you hear phrases like "I pray there's light when I get home". God is our refuge and only hope Though there are things that God has given us the wisdom and knowledge to solve for ourselves.

Politics / Re: Osun: How BVAS Exposed PDP’s Rigging Machine By Ismail Omipidan by donami(m): 10:07am On Jan 30, 2023
The question is : how is BVAS data stored and retrieved?
Is data encrypted? Are serial numbers of the machines recorded on result sheets? Should BVAS data be made available during result collation? Data can be tampered with so BVAS information ought to be collated with the results at the collation center else it cannot be trusted.

Bishop for day time, olosho for night.

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
Celebrities / Re: Dunsin Oyekan Tackles Christians Who Listen To Asake And Other Secular Singers by donami(m): 9:18pm On Jan 19, 2023
The abuse of freedom that is synonymous with christian youths is appalling. But if you join a secret society and they issue rules and decrees you'll put your life on the line to live by it. No wonder the power of God has become mere talk and the experience is far away from what we read in the word of God.
Until your obedience is absolute don't expect God to give you authority lukewarm Christian.
If your secret society request that you to wear red boxers you'll do it without questioning the motive, but if the church ask you to live holy then the rebellious spirit in us will dish out all sort of careless talk.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Foreign media understand that brain washing of Africa is possible to shape foreign policy. Aljazeera is one of the Arab disinformation outlets. The goal is to embed disinformation inside of information. Western media is also not innocent of this, but we all should cautious of news outlets and media programming.

My advice is simple: Never permit the systems that grade you to limit you, go for mastery.
Take up a skill, learn something new and use your pain as fuel to push for mastery.

Imagine state policy was handling the case of Deborah in Sokoto, the case would have been closed already without evidence. Some regions of the country have not reached the age of enlightenment and justice is viewed from a snared conscience.

A lot of history has been changed due to civilization but you cannot alter the evidence. Christmas is a celebration of God's love towards men. Jesus Christ the only begotten of the Father and the word of God. By His blood we are saved.

Career / Re: Which Certification Is Top-notch? Microsoft Or Cisco by donami(m): 10:51am On Jul 22, 2016
Cisco is a life long commitment, Microsoft is for Enterprise network career, Cisco is infrastructure, so where do you want to work??! but in your pursuit you'll never know what the future holds that's the reason why IT guys combine multiple certifications, the router in an enterprise environment might never be configured in six months BT the server will get a lot of stuff on a daily basis, Never be certificate driven, rather be knowledge driven else you end up using dumbs to show for knowledge that is very shallow just my two cents

Those of us who live in the N.E know very well that you do not overtake a military convoy especially one conveying equipment. Someone tried it last year, they punctured all his 4 tyres and showed him hell. I once travelled from jos to Bauchi in 3hrs 30min when we met a convoy halfway into our trip.
