Sisib15: Please what can you say about South Dakota state university and also you mentioned that it is in the middle of nowhere, does it mean that it is not a place to live or the school environment is not good. I am asking because your response will help me to make my decision Oh no. What I'm talking about is in terms of internships (I don't think Computer science student will enjoy the school cos tech companies aren't there. That's what I mean) |

BigIyanga: You havent provided any solution.. have you? You could have put the same energy into finding a school for him. You cant be an entitled brat cos you cant really afford to pay anybody for their time and expertise. I’m not here to babysit him. I asked him a tough question without insults and he responded with insults.. then I responded cos I dont care how you feel once you start hurling insults.. you shall get a truckload.
1st question? Low GP and you’re looking for the easiest uni to get into?? Are your parents worth more $500k
So you intentionally missed this his response.??
Take time to read through what you wrote and ask yourself if you made any sense. If I have a GPA of 4.0 would I need to worry about an easy school to get into? Something tells me you are either fostered or being fostered because I don't know what parents got to do with my question. my dear you completely missed the point of my comment. How you word your comments matter. Stop being condescending in your response. We are building a community. Read my reply again. You'd see that i said the exact thing you wrote. But without the extra layer. You havent provided any solution.. have you? You could have put the same energy into finding a school for him. BigIyanga: Or is it that askers like you dont like honest answers? The easiest way to get admitted is pay $$ COA out of pocket Why dont you do the digging and finding by yourself. Are you also mentally lazy to deploy your brain to serve you??] Low GP and you’re looking for the easiest uni to get into?? Are your parents worth more $500kIf you say. Hi, your GPA is quite low, to get admitted, you'd need a good chunk of money since the schools that accept low GPA cost alot. Btw, make sure you or your parents have $50k for COA… that’s 10% of $500k.. This is a better way to respond to people without being condescending. Go UK thread and see how they talk to each other |

BigIyanga: Good luck finding a uni that will offer you admission with your low GPA. Btw, make sure you or your parents have $50k for COA… that’s 10% of $500k..
Why dont you do the digging and finding by yourself. Are you also mentally lazy to deploy your brain to serve you?? I don't understand why you guys hate questions here so much. Some people don't know how to start searching... Let's say someone asked what are the best cheap universities for low GPA. If you have had this issue before, it cost nothing to chip in a response. . Sometimes when they see university of California San Diego. It can prompt them to check other nearby universities. I swear you guys need to check Indian forums and see how they help each other. Infact they have a whole forum dedicated to showing you exactly what gpa + gre combination to get admitted. Example.. Someone asked can I get admitted with a 7.4/10 gpa, someone responded that he got admitted with that but he needs is to Co aurther a research paper or have 4 projects I've seen really stupid questions on their YouTube pages and people answering them without being condescending. Honestly we need to do better and stop being hostile to every question.

Also, you can try Virginia tech..they love engineers. There, even though they listed the WES as a a criterion, people I know only just sent the one they did with the gpa calculator... I just checked their website. It's a bit expensive, do they usually offer graduate assistantship? |

Schrodinger2: Hey guys, if you're willing to withstand the extreme cold during the winter season in Colorado, I'd advise you guys to apply all major schools here. (UC Boulder, CSU Fort Collins, UC Denver, Colorado School of Mines, etc). This is unlike the East coast and Southern US with many applicants but better seasonal weather.
Generally, there are few blacks here and not many Nigerians come to the Mid-west due to the cold, and life style. Hence, I feel you stand a chance of being funded with a very good profile.
Reach out to me for a referral link for your credit card if you're resuming this spring or you just arrived the US this January. There's a mutual benefit. Any of them give graduate assistantship right of the bat? Most schools wants you to finish first semester |

BigIyanga: Most people here offering to help, are borne out of selfless sacrifice, but most applicants like ghetonews and co, who are seasonal applicants with denials are pure japa hustlers. They have told many inconsistent stories to VOs.. and everything is on record. In Ghettonews last interview, the VO gave him/her time to come clean as to what led his/her rejection… she/he picked an error about parents’ info in his DS160.. VO told him/her that was NOT the reason for his denial. These applicants have made up their minds on what the issues are; and are looking for someone to validate those-held opinions.. I’m not effing with that.. I keep it 100%, you can call me a bad person I would love to help a genuine applicant who’s done his/her work. If you’re a stem MS/PhD applicant with funding/scholarship, I’d like to help with sevis fee etal. What if you have the COA (annual) in your account (can be explained) but you'd sponsor is a lecturer, is that a cause for denial? |

I'm not truly sure only my mom is a convincing sponsor since she is a lecturer although I have 1year tuition for Simon Fraser University.
Lastly, will paying 1yr tuition upfront before applying help with the visa process? |
