Now, to what I observed in Niger Republic is that The American government wants to use Niger Republic to enter West Africa in disguise of offering help to Nigerien Soldiers. Now. They want to establish a Drone base in Niger Republic. if they succeed without been stopped now, the American government will establish a Very Big military base in Niger Republic. there by controlling the internal affairs of Niger Republic. and Breaking and Limiting the power of the Nigerian government over West Africa. that will causes serious problem to Nigeria and West Africa. my fellow Nigerians, think about it properly. we must NOT allow American government to build a Drone base in Niger Republic. Feel good factor or not it will serve us well if we priotize the JF-17 first. Lets forget the North African countries who receive billions of dollars in military aid from the United States. South Africa has the Gripen, Uganda has the SU-30 MK, Chad has the MIG-29, Gabon flies the SU-27, Angola has the SU-30 and SY-27. These countries are not at war nor do they face any external military threat. Of these countries only South Africa spend more on defence. Unlike Nigeria they are not an expeditionary military force.

Enter Nigeria. We've gone to War with Chad. We've nearly gone to war with Cameroon TWICE. We've had a 5 year military campaign against the Niger Delta militants, after which we had a 3 year respite, after which we've been embroiled in an 8 year war of attrition with Boko Haram, a war that has proven to bethe deadliest and costliest War in Nigeria's history. During the civil war we barely lost significant territory. Against Boko Haram we lost an area the size of Costa-Rica. For 9 months Boko Haram called 3 million Nigerians its own. It took us a year to reclaim lost territories. We have democratic Anglophone Nigeria encircled by dictatorial and oppresive Francophone countries we've gone to war with. We have the French building surveillance facilities in Niger and Chad. The Americans, perhaps in a bid to outdo the French just deployed Reaper Drones to its new surveilance facility in Cameroon.

We are the only nation in Africa that has had to carry out military operation or another consistently for a decade. We've impounded French cargo plane Laden with weapons bound for Chad. We've seen the Iranians try to smuggle weapon to Cameroon via container ships. YET :

We have no viable air defence.
No viable modern strike aircraft
No interceptor aircraft
The Nigerian Navy has more tonnage than the next 16 countries combined yet not a single ship carries anti ship missile, no defence weapons. We spent a quarter of a billion dollars buying the Chinese knockoff of the Mig-21's as a stop gap measure. Twelve years down the line we are still stop gaping. After 8 years of war and thousands dead we are celebrating Super Tucano. All the countries that have Tucano's have at the very least modest air defence systems. No sane country on earth will spend half a billion dollars on a propeller driven plane against a now negligible threat when the country when it lacks the basics of a modern air force. Our military brass are scamming us and we are making excuses for them. Smh. Do you know how many squadrons of Fulcrums we could buy for $600 million?

Do you know how much the Chadians spend on defence annually? $300 million. Text they can boast of several SA-6 SAMS. Since 2014 we'veincreased defence expenditure from $2.1 billion to $5 billion. Last year we spent $5.06 billion. Where did the money go? Our soldiers ain't exactly the best paid onthe continent. It's almost as if we have to apologise for daring to buy advanced 4th Gen aircrafts.
