I learnt our incoming president Peter Omoluabi Obi generated enough electricity for Anambra state which is placed on national grid now alongside several sub-stations he commissioned. I want to press the neck of these Agbado people.
Can anyone help me with the pictures?
Thanks. Meanwhile I attached a photoshop of Agbado president's fake news own

tinsel: u It was not. We saw the video when Obi was speaking. It was a poor outing. And even the one when he arrived Shut up you Agbado Urchin... President Obi doesn't even need rented crowds like PDP and APC to win the election. |

grandstar: This is why tribalism is bad. It won't be bad if Nnewi looked like this. Many American cities look like this and they aren't even state capitals.
Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka should have loads of modern skyscrapers, perhaps even trams to move people about.
It would be nice to visit Dutse, Oshogbo, Lafia. Gworza, Katsina Ala and see skyscrapers. It is no big deal I didn't create the thread to promote Tribalism. That's why I was specific... It's more of a political post. |

Felicity001: Lolzzz... Send me times last year or early this year I stated it that sooner or later the ehailing industry will have massive draw back, courtesy to the upraising of this stupid app Indriver.
Indriver came with a good feature but again, it killed the business and it's gonna kill it further down.
Nigeria economy is worse than that of China those days China was having crisis. Just imagine s new government comes in next year and introduce LargeGoKoda... That's okadas that would only ply on the brt lanes and major express. That will be the end for ehailing in Lagos.
What I'm trying to say is the ban on bikes is one of the reasons ehailing is still alive and indriver is also a major determinant in the game changer.
By and gone the eras of surges in December, now drivers will carry sango to ajah for 5k, if u no go over a 100 drivers are ready to go for less.
In less than 5yrs Uber will leave Nigeria. Bolt will be struggling while indriver will have 1 driver to 10 passengers who are not ready to increase their fare.
The business is dieing, partners are not making profit, many are either selling their cars or their wife is learning how to drive to use the car for school runs for the kids
Fx is in the rise, cost of purchase and maintenance is in the increase yet prices are not matching up due to competition n hardship.
Indriver is not concern about anything, they don't spend any money on anything, no physical office, no license payment nothing even tho they collect 5% commission they'll still make profit so they care less. In other hands, Bolt or Uber can't increase their fare else their little rider will jump ship so they've to maintain themselves.
Let's vote wisely next year and pray the next government favours us so things will be okay otherwise we are all sinking in this boat. I thought you usually mention who people should vote before. |

Ignorant mind one of the schools Obi revamped when he was governor
Read and please go to the school site for verification A Good Day to Tell the Story
In 2010, one of the schools taken by the government from the mission was returned back. But the level of structural dilapidation was unimaginable. Regrettably this definitely affected the standard of education. According to Maria Montessori, "the work of education is divided between the teacher and the environment".
Loretto Special Science School, Adazi-Nnukwu was the school that was returned and the education friendly Governor who made the decision was His Excellency, former executive Governor of Anambra State, and current presidential candidate from the Labour party for the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria Mr. Peter Gregory Obi (Okwute ndị Igbo).
He did not just return the school but also gave a donation to help the devoted, indefatigable, tenacious manager, Very Rev. Fr. Hilary Nwajiagu and self motivated principal who believe that everything worth doing should be done well, Lady Chinyere Rose-Kate Ilozumba (ifemelu mmá) to commence the rehabilitation process. Indeed the man Okwute ndị Igbo is a good man in words, thoughts and actions.
Today, the school is enjoying the fruits of the decision made and labour of these people. But today we dedicate specially to appreciate His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi.
Mr. Peter Obi did not stop there. He continued to empower not just our school but most of the schools in Anambra State. Some of the gifts include: - Standby Generators - Vehicles (Buses) - Computers (this was done twice during his administration) and printers - Free Internet access - Employment of teachers and so on.
Both the management of schools, members of staff and students enjoyed his reign as Governor and the standard of education was raised high as it should be. He really knows the value of Education.
Okwute ndị Igbo, we the Loretto family still have these memories like it all happened yesterday. We say thank you for doing the right thing despite all odds, thank you for your contributions which were put into judicious use as can be seen with what is on ground now, thank you for making education an enviable sector as it should be.
Now we understand what Benjamin Franklin meant when he said, " an investment in education pays the best interest". And concur with Malcolm X saying that education is a passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
May God bless you and your family, may he bless you with many more fruitful and healthy years. May he give you the grace to actualise your dreams, may you live to reap the fruits of your labour.
It is indeed a good day to tell the story and on this note we say, Happy 61st Birthday to you His Excellency, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.
We love you We remain OBIDIENT
From all of us at Loretto
Chuks Ehiedu on behalf of the school.
(Attached are photos of his visit to Loretto, part of what Loretto looked like before the return and what is on ground now.) Mention 2 schools he built |
