Djdamian: Let me address your comments because you seem more reasonable compared to the other two people who mentioned me.
My decision to exit the business has nothing to do with Pearl's daily net profit from E-hailing, so let's clarify this upfront.
I believe everyone can succeed in the E-hailing business; I'm not validating or invalidating Pearl's statements. My point is that people shouldn't feel upset or frustrated by his comments or use them as a benchmark for their own earnings. Ultimately, success in this business hinges on the type of vehicle and strategic positioning, and your ability to be smart. Different vehicles and strategies yield different results, so I can't confirm or deny his statements because everyone's circumstances vary.
My reasons for leaving the business boil down to two main factors.
Firstly, it's challenging to find trustworthy partners in this business as an investor. No matter how transparent and open you intend to be, there are always individuals who exploit the situation. The last person I collaborated with almost renewed my faith in the business, but by then, it was too late. Lovely guy he is!
Secondly and most importantly, the returns on investment in this business are no longer viable. The high cost of vehicles—imagine purchasing a 7 million Naira vehicle and then earning 40,000 to 50,000 Naira weekly with driver insulting and playing on your intelligence. Moreover, the time it takes to recover your capital, let alone make a profit, is too long. There are other investments offering similar or better returns within a shorter timeframe.
Regarding your question about if I have done well in the business, I can't definitively say. E-hailing was intended to diversify my income streams rather than serve as a primary source, so the earnings were primarily used to cover incidental expenses. Person wey no fit drive 1km oh |

Djdamian: Which one are you?
You deny asking people to lease their vehicles to you,
You claim to be a TikToker,
You say you're a digital marketer,
But you've never mentioned being an investor, so why are you here as well? Everyone is aware of everything you listed up there. I'm here because I'm a driver. Wbu? Have you settled for gossips? |

Djdamian: You really sound like one of the trouble makers here who likes arguing without facts or data. This raises the question of whether you're part of those individuals using a different moniker to cause nuisance here.
Pearl's comments about making 80k net with 20k spent on fuel shouldn’t be your concern, whether it’s true or not. I don't think you need to be so upset or worried about it. It doesn't imply that other drivers who earn less are lazy or falling behind in life.
Everyone has their own way of making things work for them. You just supported pearl too without proof of you doing the same figure. |

Welz: you have waited since yesterday for someone to quote you as they increased fuel price and no one did, so you chose the closest thing that looked like a quote to you and replied..you really need help, serious one If anyone should call me out for fuel price increment, the person is only fọ̀ọ́ling himself. I have always maintained that even if refineries worked, fuel will not come down but Mr Logic thought otherwise. Rest |

lexylexy: I've seen some bad reviews about gbovo transport. Have you used them before? I heard there are some companies that do car swap, anyone with link to such? Gbovo is highly reliable and very considerate. I referred a friend to them and he's extremely pleased with their service. The weekly payment may be high but you can't undermine the peace of mind that comes with driving to own a Tokumbo car. I think you should check autohub for swap but their conditions fit make you run sha |

lokoventurex1: Hello good people,
I have decided to do e-hailing business with LAGRIDE. I want to pay the 700k advance payment to get their car. I learnt i will be paying 10K daily remittance for the hire purchase agreement. Aside this daily 10k, apart from their comission on each trip i make on their app(Lagride), what other payment am i expected to pay daily?
I will appreciate a thorough explanation regarding the prons and cons, and ways around it to run it successfully. I am aware of the teething period in every business, no negative energy needed. It is what i have made up my mind to do, i only need some more hints about how to run it successfully since i will still be using Uber, Bolt, and In-drive app with it. I will advice you go for other options instead of Lagride. That job seem like slavery work (a Nigerian car with lengthy repayment). With your 700k down-payment, you can get a Suzuki car from Moove (100k downpayment). Alternatively, you can also beef your budget to 1Million naira and get Gbovo Hire-Purchase for Honda Civic or Toyota Camry 2008 (tokunbo). I believe those are better options. Best of luck. |

olisaEze: Amazing! So how exactly did the Navy defend the budgeting of a presidential yacht that it was allowed to fly unopposed till the press got a hold of it? And how many other agencies and arms of the govt are also bleeding the country dry in the name of the president?? These things are why the press is called the fourth estate and not because of brown envelopes. The yatch is always included in all Navy budgets since the days of Jonathan, approval and purchase is what people should have waited for. |
